Roman Quinn, diagnosed with a strenuous hypermature cataract (clouded lens), spent most of his childhood in the story-telling house. Spawned by AS and SS parents, he knew he wouldn't live a day past his nineteenth birthday. His milky-colored irises made people think of him as a possessed being; A demon. And his sickly fragile body drove the assumptions rational. Thriving in poverty, he had to watch his mother struggle to fend for the household. He wanted to help… but what assistance would a tiny sickled teenage lad offer? His determination, however, led him too far… __________ "Why did you choose this path?" The archaic storyteller asked, angling his head west to grant him access to the youthful lad posing at the gloaming edge of the cabin. "You could have effortlessly made your life bearable." A crooked smile emerged at the side of his lips as he adjusted the cloak over his head to hinder the old man from straining his weak bones to peek at his face. The blood and bruises on his face didn't cause the old man to flinch, he appeared accustomed to witnessing the young lad in a messy state. "You know the emotions you get after doing something you shouldn't have?" his milky irises pivoted to the old storyteller, despite being unfocused in a direction. A bloody smirk slanted on his bruised lips. "I've never felt it." ___________ Don't forget to vote… No harsh comments, please…. I've got a fragile heart.
