Friends?

The Quad High School crowd cheers as Austin is only two points away from a win in his solo wrestling match.

The referee blows the whistle for them to go and Austin goes for takedown. He almost has it, but his opponent steps out of the way.

"Austin! Revert! Change course!" Alan yells at Austin.

He gets distracted and instead his opponent successfully takes him down. "Shit!" Austin screams and the opponent laughs.

Austin gets back up. "It's game time boy!" The wrestling coach yells at Austin to get it together.

He manages to get back in the fight he ends up picking the guy up and slamming him down to the mat.

"Yes!" Alan yells and the crowd cheers as the ref counts the points. The referee holds up Austin's hand after receiving the final decision. Austin raises his arms in victory and scream.

He walks off and takes off his helmet. Alan comes down and hugs him. Austin smiles and then goes back to his team.

They go off to the back and get out of their singlets and gear. Austin grabs his bag and puts on his shoes. He walks out of the locker room to leave and Stephanie is walking by.

She walks over. "Hello winner" She says and Austin looks shocked. "Well look, hello to you too" He responds and she smiles.

"So, are you going to ask me on a date or not?" She asks and he smirks. "Would you go on a date with me?" He asks and she smiles. She kisses him right there and then walks off.

Noah looks on. He runs over after and almost tackles him. "Score bro!" Austin covers Noah's mouth.

Austin laughs, "Dude chill" They both laugh and start walking to their cars. They get to the parking lot. "Alright man, I'll hit you up later"

Austin gets into his mustang and drives off. He gets home and walks in.

He goes up to take a shower and then gets dressed in some sweats and a hoodie. He walks into the guest room. "Kendall?" He calls out.

He walks downstairs and he notices the back door is open. "Kendall?" He calls out again and finally walks out to the back. There is a tent up and a sign on the patio table.

-I knew you would win-

He smiles and looks around. "Kenny, babe" He calls out again and someone places a blindfold over Austin's eyes. "Kendall, I sure hope this is you" He smiles and Kendall finishes tying the blindfold.

He guides him over and into the tent. He takes off the blindfold. Kendall has fixed Austin's favorite snacks and set up his favorite movie on Austin's laptop.

"I'm sorry, I didn't have my own" Kendall explains and Austin shakes his head. "This is perfect" He says and sits back up against the tent.

Half way through the movie, he Austin looks at Kendall. "You weren't there, how'd you know I was going to win?" Austin smirks. "I knew you would win" He replies.

Austin gives him a look. "But, what made you think I was going to win?" He asks a more in-depth question.

Kendall catches his drift, "Well don't be ridiculous a macho man like yourself and near top of your division. I would be foolish to bet against you" He plays to Austin's ego.

Austin gets closer. "Oh yeah and who "could" beat me?" He asks him. Kendall looks at him, "No one" Austin laughs.

He backs up. "I can't believe you thought this was my favorite movie" Kendall rolls his eyes. "If I remember correctly, you watched this movie all the time" He explains.

"Yeah, when I was ten years old" Austin defends himself.

Kendall closes the laptop. "Well fine then, we don't have to finish it" Austin looks over.

"Woah, let's not get hasty here. I said that it was my favorite movie when I was ten years old" He explains and opens the laptop back up.

Kendall looks at the time. "I have to go" He says and Austin looks confused. "Go?" He asks confused.

"Austin..." Kendall begins to cleanup. "I've been here for two weeks" He walks out of the tent. Austin follows. "You can't go back there" He looks at Kendall. "They have been wondering where I am" He explains.

"Well they can keep waiting. You step-father is hitting you" Austin fights. "Your mother acts like she doesn't see the two of you fight" He continues.

"My parents and I talked about it" Austin lies. "Talked about what, Austin?" He asks and walks back into the tent.

Austin follows him back into the tent. "For you to stay here longer. Maybe until the summer. My mom and dad agree that you shouldn't be in that environment" Austin explains.

"Oh my god, Austin!" Kendall exclaims. "What? What?" Austin asks confused. "You told them about my situation, I trusted you with that" He explains.

Austin groans. "Okay, I didn't really have a talk with them, but I could" He looks at Kendall.

"And you're lying to me" Kendall shakes his head. "Listen, this is getting off topic. The point is, I don't feel comfortable with you going back there" He explains.

Kendall sighs. "I understand that and your concern has been noted" He says as Austin looks down. Kendall rubs his arm. "And it's appreciated"

"But, this is not my life" He motions to the house.

He tries to finish up cleaning to get out of the tent. Austin stops him, "Wait, wait, I just want to make sure that you are sure about this" He explains.

"You don't have to go, no one is forcing you to leave" He presses on. "I just don't understand why you are wiling going back to that place"

"That place?" Kendall looks at him, annoyed. Austin looks confused. "That place, is where I call home. I don't have a two story, five-bedroom place to call home and sitting on the lake" He explains angrily.

Austin nods. "So that's how you want to do it. Piss me off and think then I'll let you go back there" Kendall shakes his head. "You're not "letting" me go anywhere because you are not the boss of me" He explains.

Austin walks closer to him. "I'm your bestfriend" Kendall sighs and looks at him.

"I know" Austin smiles and holds his hand out to the tent. "At least finish watching my "favorite" movie with me, to celebrate my win" He offers and Kendall laughs a little.

They both go back into the tent.

"I this part" Austin gets closer to Kendall. "Every time I look into your eyes, I see an angel" Austin mocks the actor and looks deep into Kendall's eyes. The two without thinking are not just a lip touch away apart.

"How did you know that I would win tonight?" Austin asks again.

Kendall looks into Austin eyes and without thinking his hand is on Austin's bicep.

"Because, you're macho...and no one can beat you" Kendall faintly whispers this time.
