Chapter 8

When sun was shining brightly above head, a train horned from afar and slowly stopped at the station. The platform was crowded with people. Natalia has already regained her restless mind and picked up her luggage, a suit and a bag.

Dragging the relatively heavy luggage with difficulty, Natalia slowly came out from the train, while squeezing and struggling with other passengers. As soon as she found a place to steady herself, she sighed in relief. At this period of time, the country is still developing and metros and planes aren't here yet. Thankfully, the train has developed a lot, or else she don't knew how she will survive that journey!

Suddenly, Natalia felt a loud protest from her stomach, she hadn't ate anything till now. She quickly found a small restaurant not too away from railway station. To calm her protesting stomach, she ordered a meat bun and soy milk.

As soon as a bit entered her mouth, her eyes shined brightly. 'Oh my~~ its too delicious!!' She missed this authentic taste in the later decade.

While enjoying her meat bun, Natalia thought about what she should do in the future. Since, Evan is not here, she don't have to visit the medical campus anymore. In her previous life, she had heard from David that Evan was away in abroad for a medical theses. And he will only be here after seven months at most.

Sigh…

She have to wait seven months before meeting him!

Anyway, she didn't came here not only because she want to give Brother Bright a surprise, but also she got admission in Albert University. Evan is also there. He is in the medical department while she is in the mathematical division. He is already a professor while she is only a freshman. Although they are in the same university, their campus are quite distant.

Since, she don't have a home here, she decide to go straight to her dormitory. Her class will begin tomorrow, she have to tidy up as soon as possible. Natalia got a taxi and reached before the University gate. After paying the driver, she looked at the prestigious university before her.

She is here, once again…

This time she won't repeat the same mistakes as in her previous life. Her university life… It can't be as dull as in the past. Because of her relationship with David, the school hunk, most of the female students who admired him became her enemies. Making the two years she spent here lonely and oppressed. She an orphan from a countryside married the young master of Carter family. It was enough to bully her for her whole semester.

Thinking of those messy years, Natalia sighed deeply. A single misunderstanding had ruined all of her happiness.

Since she came back again, let's start fresh. Encouraging herself for her vibrant days, Natalia went inside the compound. Based on her memory, she went directly into the principal office to report.

Mr. Smith was enjoying his afternoon tea, when someone knocked his office door. "Come in!" He said as he put down the tea cup on the table. He put on his glasses and saw a beautiful young girl before him. "You are…?" He asked while smiling politely at her.

"Mr. Smith, I am Natalia Nicholas. I was admitted to the Mathematical department here. Here is my admission letter." Natalia handed over her admission letter along with some other essential documents.

Mr. Smith nodded and checked the details, he was surprised to realize that she is the new scholarship student in their school who won first prize in the National Math Competition for three consecutive years! He checked her other academic performance and was satisfied to see that she always scored the top marks in every exams.

Mr. Smith folded the documents and stood up with a satisfied smile. "Welcome to Albert University, Miss. Natalia. Hope you will continue to study hard and bring glory to our university and also for yourself."

"I will definitely try my best, Mr. Smith!" Natalia shook hands with him and went out after receiving information about her classes and others.

While going out from the principal office, she saw a woman in her thirties coming in her direction. She was in a formal outfit, hair tied into a bun, glasses and simple makeup. In just a glance it was known that she is a teacher.

When passed by her, Natalia nodded at her in greeting while the other party looked at her from top to bottom in one glance and left without replying.

Seeing Ms. Lilith walk away in arrogance, Natalia sneered in her heart. How could she couldn't understand that she despised her because of her poor appearance? Because of Ms. Lilith's biased attitude, she had almost lost her life in her previous life!

She have to make her pay for it, if her attitude towards her is the same as in her last life!
