Chapter 7

When the Capital City was in the warmth of summer, the

southernmost territory of Country N was freezing cold.

Snowflakes had covered the hills and valleys of Country N.

Country N is the least populated state of S Continent.

Because, this place is the center of Military administration

of the continent and many legal medical and non-medical

researches of the government is taking place here.

Usually, the researchers and soldiers came here were a part

of top-secret missions of the continent. Once they crossed

the territory, they won't have any contact with the outside

world until the mission end.

A laboratory under Military Base -1, Country N.

Armed soldiers were patrolling inside and outside. In the

laboratory, six men and three women in their medical

attire were standing in a line with their back straightened.

Before them, the Commander of the base was giving

instructions for them.

"First of all, I would like to express gratitude for the ten

scientists who are here for helping us, in the name of our

country. As you all know, this mission has to be completed

as soon as possible. This research is now the key for the

future prosperity and protection of our people.

The ten of you are selected by the government from

various parts of the continent, because they realized and

trust your ability. I hope all of you will follow the rules and

regulations strictly until the mission is accomplished.

For this period of time, the government has selected the

most efficient captain for your medical team. He is

currently a professor in Albert University. He also got two

PhDs under Professor Abraham Williams. Let me

introduce Dr. Evan Scott to you all!!!"

The Commander looked at the young man who came to

his side. There was an unspeakable admiration in his eyes

for this youngster who is only 24 years old. The other

doctors gazed at the man before them in shock and

surprise. As they are also in medical field, they naturally

knew about him. Although some of them are elder than

him and have more experience, they couldn't deny the

proposals he put forward. Some of the researches he

submitted has already made a great breakthrough in

medical field. Everyone clapped and welcomed him.

The young man who was in a white coat nodded in

affirmation. There wasn't any expression on his face but

was heavenly handsome, his phoenix eyes has a crystal

clear ink drop in it, making others believe that there is a

universe behind it. His facial features were perfect and his

thin lips made a slight arc but there was an unbreakable

coldness around him, making him no different from the

snowflakes falling outside.

After the introduction, the Commander and the medical

team discussed about their mission. From the beginning to

the end of the discussion there was a tense in the air. The

more they explained about the current situation, the more

they frowned. Soon, the medical team realized that what

they are going to do now is really the future of their

country….

At Night.

Dormitory in Military Base – 1

Evan unlocked the door of his place and came inside.

Because of his special identity the Army has arranged a

single dormitory for him. It was spacious enough with a

living room, one bedroom with an attached bathroom and

a kitchen, all with necessary furniture, neat and tidy.

Evan was satisfied with the arrangements and quickly went

to the bathroom to take a shower. After twenty minutes he

came out with a towel around his waist. His hair which

was a little long was almost touching his shoulder bones,

still has some wetness on it lied on his white skin like a

black calligraphy. His muscles and bulging veins gave him

a dazzling of a male god. He went to the kitchen and

poured a glass of water and drank it. His Adams apple

moved up and down with his movements. The coldness

between his brows and eyes which was as deep as an ocean

made him more sexy and addictive.

Evan changed into his pajamas and went to the living

room with a medical book in his hands. He put on his

spectacles with gold rims and his hands unknowingly

rubbed his hair which was tied back with a band neatly.

Halfway through his reading, he suddenly couldn't

concentrate anymore and closed the book. He glanced at

the clock, it was 1: 15 am.

He hasn't messaged her for a week. Will she miss him?

Thinking of his little girlfriend Evan's sharp brows

softened. The corners of his lips raised and stars of love

shined brightly in his eyes. Alas… he miss her a lot!

What Evan didn't know was, because of his sudden

disappearance without a notice has already changed his

entire fate. His little girlfriend became someone else wife

and he became a forgotten leaf in her life. He watched as

his life became someone else and died without letting her

know who he is.

If the current Evan got to know that this mission in this

country caused him loss his baby girl, he would probably

blast the entire country into ashes within seconds. After all

the current Evan is not like the one who was immersed in

darkness after seeing Natalia as someone else bride…

Fortunately or unfortunately, he would never knew this at

all… The fate has already took a different path…

But, why?

Is the turn back of time wheel is only because of love and

regret?
