Strange why do I feel nervous this days?

"Arden have you sent a letter to Gelus?" I asked.

"Yes sire." He answered.

We finally arrived at the forest and notice sir Devon's knights.

"This bastard keeps on following master again." Kai blurted looking irritated.

"He's an ally Kai why do you hate him so much?" Loin asked.

"He always grabbed master away from us." He answered while sulking.

"Are you a kid?" Arden laugh making him more irritated.

The carriage stopped and sir Devon opened the door.

"Greetings my Liege, I'm glad to finally see you again." He said and hold my hand.

"Rise human how are they?" I asked.

"We manage to hide here when we finally wiped the fist hidden base, young master Gelus is indeed excellent. The people agreed to fight with us in order to claim their land again and they are all looking forward for the Prince return." Sir Devon explained.

Devon is now one of my allies and it has a very long story before I manage to grabbed him.

"You need to continue on acting as the Black skull to let them confuse. It would be easier for us to move and avoid other kingdoms taking advantages on our own movements." I explained.

"Yes Sire we will stick to the main plan." He answered.

We headed to the forest while sir Devon and his knights leads the way.

"Sire, Regarding about a support from the royals." Arden said.

"You'll meet him soon." I answered.

We arrived at the hidden place were some men are starting to train and the others were creating weapons.

"His highness have returned!" The people shouted with joy.

Loin began to speak and look around.

But, I began to feel unwell with their reactions.

"Master." Kai suddenly grabbed me.

This is because of that cursed contract my soul was taken now, I'm at the state of recovering my whole strength.

"What's wrong?" Sir Devon asked.

"I am fine." I answered and sign them to continue.

This joyful emotions make me dizzy.

"Let's head to the tent." Sir Devon said.

I stayed in the bed while all of them are around me.

"Do I look like having my last will?" I thought.

"Arden." I said.

"Yes sire please don't speak anymore you must be very ill." Arden said looking worried.

Eh?

A whimper made us turned to Kai who is currently crying at Loin.

"Why are you crying?" I asked.

"This guy was so worried seeing you in a fragile state sire." Loin sad trying not to laugh.

"Sire you shouldn't have come here if you aren't feeling well." Sir Devon said.

"This idiot stop crying you're making me cry too!" Arden said and hit Kai.

"Hey! Can't you see master have been exhausting himself for years already. I never even saw him took time to have rest I've been with his side but I couldn't do anything and watch." Kai exclaimed.

"He's right even at the Roist academy he continued to study and goes out to gather information and sends us another clue for the next plan." Loin said.

"He barely slept when he comes back from his winter break, to think that he handles the dukes work too." Arden added.

Huh?

I notice them exchanging glances and nodded.

Now I get the point of those glances, they barely allowed me to go out. Every time I was about to speak they get ahead.

"The people are training hard for the next movement." Loin said.

"You don't need to do anything sire, sir Devon was already taking some spies at the Kingdom of Amethia." Arden said.

"Sire-"

"Enough!" I exclaimed in irritation.

They've been watching me all day and night.

I wanted to go out and start the attack but they all declined my orders.

I feel exhausted lately this must be because of the cursed contract.

"Kai." I said and signed the others to leave.

"Yes Sire?" He asked.

"Look for the person named Stein El Cadis Morden make this conversation hidden." I said and signed him to leave.

I don't have a choice but look for that man, my time is running out if this continues I might die.

I still have a lot of things to do I'll think about the consequence after gaining my strength.

"Honey."

A very unexpected thought came up my mind.

"Stupid bee." I blurted while covering my eyes.

Stein El Cadis Morden's POV

I finally finished all my paper work and ready to step out of this room.

"Your highness a letter was sent from Prince Sarem." Sir Qile informed.

I immediately opened the envelope and read the message.

"Dear Stein,

I finally found the key to your beloved Friesse La Verdi which exchanges my life. I met his younger brother Gelus in Elorca who was unexpectedly my business partner. I'll tell you everything but find Friesse for his life is in danger. I know you have a lot of questions in mind but this is the only information I can provide to you for now. He is currently at the forrest of Alstroemeria."

I immediately stood up and got myself ready. I've noticed lately that the crystal's color was starting to fade.

This might be a sign that something bad had happened.

"What is he thinking?" I blurted.

Why did he go to the Zephyrians Cabin?

His actions are confusing me which made me irritated.

"Greetings to your highness, the king is looking for you." The servant said.

I headed at the king's room and saw him holding a red book with a hole similar to the crystal I have.

"Why did you call me father?" I asked in suspicion.

"I wanted to give you this." He said and handed me the book.

"What is this?" I asked.

I heard him sighed and spoke.

"This book was owned by your mother I've been keeping it for years already yet, I barely know what's inside. She also doesn't know but she told me that it was owned by the demons." He explained.

It can't be.

I look at the book's side and saw some sculpted stuffs that I barely understand.

"I don't want to keep this book for this cause my queen's death. She told me to give it to you when the right time comes." He said.

I got out of the palace looking puzzled a lot was on my mind lately and now this book suddenly came.

"Sire the Amethians have formed an alliance with the Boaras!" Sir Qile said.

"What? This can't be! They should be after us how come they got the Boars!" I exclaimed in anger.

This is fast how did it immediately turned out like this?

I stared at the book and Friesse image crossed my mind.

"The key." I thought.

"Prepare the carriage we will be heading to the Zephyrians." I said.

I took out my coat and grabbed the crystal. As we traveled I decided to open the book. I used the crystal and it fits perfectly however, its still locked.

"What's wrong with this?" I blurted in frustration.

I thought for a while and remembered Sarem when he once told me about demon race.

Flashback...

"Have you heard about it?" Sarem asked.

"What?" I said.

"That demons actually has a book and it says that it is their weakness. However, this book can only be open by a demon's blood and his mate." He explained.

"I don't understand what book is this?" I asked.

"This is the contract of humans and demons. When the demon falls in love to that human it created a great chaos which leads to their death. The gods have punished the both races and created this book as a proof." He said.

"What could be inside that book?" I asked.

"No one knows however, it was just an old tales nobody saw that book at all. Besides its impossible to have a demon here I don't actually think it exist." Sarem said shrugging his shoulders.

The memory made me feel enlighten.

I notice a sudden stop and I unconciously dropped the book.

What's going on?

I immediately pick it up and hides it into my coat.

The door suddenly opened and showed a man filled with blood in his clothes.

"Leave your highness, I'll stop him." Sir Qile shouted.

"I am looking for Prince Stein El Cadis Morden my master asked for his presence." The man said.

"Who is your master?" I asked in confusion.

"Your highness don't be deceived!" Sir Qile said.

"Master Friesse La Verdi." He said.

Friesse?

"Take me to him immediately!" I said and got out the carriage.

I grabbed one of the horses and followed the man.

"Your highness that man is suspicious what if he is one of the Amethians!" Sir Qile said.

"I trust him Qile I also need to see that person." I said.

We passed through the long woods and arrived to a hidden cave.

As we passed through the cave a sudden light was seen and to my surprise it showed a lot of people.

The flags.

"Zypherians!" Sir Qile exclaimed.

"What's the meaning of this Kai." A man approached our way.

"I don't have time to explain Arden but master asked me to bring him." He said.

"You two are suspicious but master is too weak to move let me accompany you to him." He said looking at as indifferently.

"But master told me to keep it a secret!" The man ahead of us sulked.

"I'll keep the secret then so both of us will be punished." The man said.

What the?

"Follow us." He said and headed to a red tent.

As he opened the door I saw a familiar figure at the bed.

"You came." He said in a low voice.

I clenched my fist hearing his weak voice, his face was also pale but he still managed to smile.

"Are you really asking for death." I said in anger.

I noticed them looking surprise on how I acted.

"I thought you wanted to kill me that's why I called you here." He smiled.

I took out my sword but the man earlier stood in front.

"What's the meaning of this Friesse!" He exclaimed in anger.

"Let him Arden." Friesse said.

"If you'll move a step I'll kill you." The man named Kai said glaring at me.

"Kai." Friesse called.

I noticed him gritted his teeth and punched the table.

He signed them to leave and faced me.

"You can kill me now human-

I pulled him towards me and spoke.

"Friesse."

I noticed him froze on what I said, I slowly reach for his cover.

"Stop." He said while holding back my hand away to his head.

I ignored his words and untied his cover, his red demonic eyes stares at me with different emotions.

"My Demon." I said and kissed his forehead.

I felt his eyes closed and accepted my embrace.

"I'm yours." He answered.

I stayed with his side while he was sleeping peacefully.

His lips were turning red again and his face was now rosy I held his hand gently and sniffs it.

Smells nice.

Sarem was right a demon's pheromones smells so good.

"What's going on?"

"Let go of me Arden!"

"We can't do anything Loin!"

I started to hear voices outside which made me distracted.

It suddenly became silent and-

"Master!" The man called while the others were on the ground.

"This bastard!" Arden exclaimed in anger.

Friesse slowly opened his eyes looking irritated.

"Loin." He said in a hard tone.

The man named Loin flinch hearing his voice.

"Master?! His alive Arden his alive!" Kai exclaimed and shakes Arden's shoulder.

"Stop!" Arden shouted and hit Kai in the head.

What in the world is going on?

"Who in the world ruined the tent?!" The man wearing a knight's uniform shouted.

They all pointed Loin who immediately run besides Frieese.

"Master save me!" He exclaimed.

"You must be confused." Friesse said shaking his head.

"I understand." I said.

"Your highness!" Sir Qile said.

I almost forgot he was badly injured by Kai.

A physician came and treated sir Qile's injuries.

"The humans around me are my allies the one with the gold hair is Prince Loin Volt Delle of Zephyr. The one who has a violet strand in the hair is Kaiz Follen Quarte from the land of Zabi. Next to him was my trusted advisor Arden Vire Iloia and lastly sir Devon De Mokreus the free knight of Elorca." He said.

He got four trusted allies and also one of them is a prince and the other one was the famous free knight of Elorca.

I wanted to ask him a lot of stuff but something was holding me back.

"I see." I answered.

I noticed Kai was still glaring at me.

"Don't mind him your not the only one he's been eyeing." Sir Arden said and pointed at Sir Devon who is now beside Friesse.

How did he-

"What are you doing?" I said and grabbed Friesse hand away from him.

"His my master I don't see any wrong with my actions." Sir Devon answered.

"Buzz." He said.

"Buzz?!" They all exclaimed in shock except Loin.

"Their face looks hilarious." Loin laughed.

Kai was no longer glaring of me but signed me to death.

An idea came in my mind and smiled.

"Honey are you feeling better now?" I asked.

A broken glass was heard from sir Arden who were so shock.

"I'll kill you!" Kai shouted but Arden and Devon are already grabbing him from both arm.

"You did that intentionally aren't you." Friesse said.

"What?" I acted innocent and smiled.

I noticed he laughed a bit.

"Master is laughing." Kai blurted.

"I remembered we have a lot of things to do." Sir Arden said and dragged them away.

As they got out I heard a crying voice outside from Kai.

They are crazy.

I compose myself and spoke.

"I got this crystal when I woke up." I said showing him the red crystal.

"That's my soul you can kill me using that crystal. Aren't you mad at me?" He asked.

"I'm not, I was dragged by my past nightmare which I regretted after you left." I replied.

"My eyes is a living proof of my demon blood, In order for me to live normal I need to hide it." He said staring at his cover.

I don't know why but I got this feeling that we became closer to each other.

I suddenly began to speak something I hide from everyone a demon's curse is really powerful.

I took out the book and showed it to him.

"My father handed this book to me do you have any idea what this is?" I asked.

Friesse stared at the book and his eyes suddenly glows.

"This is the book of Dehum, I saw this in my dream but I barely remember anything for my memories are a mess." He answered.

"I know how to open this book." I said.

I put the crystal on the hole and hold his finger and prick it in the crystal.

I felt him flinch and his blood drop at the crystal, I grab my knife to cut a bit in the finger and drop my blood at the crystal.

An unlocking sound was heard from the book.

I moved beside him and opened the book.

"Look at the curse contract Buzz." He said.

I flipped the pages and saw the Cursed contract.

There are rules written on it as a warning.

The human will own the demon.

The human can kill his/her demon.

The human can locate his demon through his pheromones.

The human is the only one who can tame his demon.

The human and demon can feel each others emotion and presence.

The demon will die if separated longer from his human (3days).

The demon will serve his human with his life, body and soul.

Lastly, If the red crystal turned white it means your demon have passed.

"Its right I can smell your pheromones." I said.

"You seems happy." He answered.

This book contains a lot of knowledge regarding humans and demons.

"This book is dangerous if handed in the wrong hand." I said.

"There somethings missing." He blurted.

I immediately look at the page he was referring and he was right someone has snatched the whole chapter.

"This... to break the cursed contract." He said.

"You should be happy if that-"

"You are mistaken." I said and tried to look at the contents.

"If the cursed contract was broke the demon will be freed and his real power will be owned. It only means that demon could not be killed and his real power will be restored." He said clenching his fist.

Hatred and Anger.

That is the kind of emotion I could feel from him.

"How can we find the lost chapter? We didn't even know why it was torn." I said.

"The last owner must've hidden this part to avoid it from happening. The worst case is the demon must have kept it for the right time to use." Friesse said.

"Let's hide this book for now we'll try to read everything on it later so we might have a clue where it was." I said.

He nodded.
