The-Woman-Most-Murderous (II)

(A/N: According to HP Fandom, the Peverell brothers were born somewhere during the 11th century, but in the Fanfic, they were born somewhere around in the 4th century when Hela was still free)

It has been more that one and a half millennia since she had been trapped in this wretched place by her father dearest with nothing to do except for watching those pathetic Peverells squabble around uselessly and monitor what was happening with the Deathly Hallows… Thankfully, the latter hobby was much more interesting than watching the Peverells follow through their usual boring routine.

Her trip to Midgard on that day was completely random on her part… She still didn't know why she had decided to make that trip. Sometimes, she wondered that it was maybe one of those spur movements. The sun was setting down when she arrived on Midgard, making a beautiful sight on the horizon, so she had decided to take a walk down a river bank and that is when the three brothers had approached her.

They had recognized her as the Norse Goddess of Death, which was quite surprising since Hela knew very well that she wasn't a well liked Goddess, thanks to her terrifying reputation. Unlike the other Gods or Goddesses, she usually killed not only her enemies, but her worshippers too as she hated the temporary power boost she would receive from their worship. Previously, she had wiped off human civilizations just because she found it amusing or just because she could.

That day, she had come this close to killing the three brothers for interrupting her walk, but she decided to go with something more interesting. She decided to accept their request and create the Deathly Hallows, but what they didn't know was the fact that by doing so, she gained authority over the rest of the Peverell bloodline and they also didn't know how much death and destruction the Deathly Hallows would cause. There was something else didn't tell them... She didn't tell them that she would be able to watch everything through them and the Hallows.

The Souls of the Peverells, the Souls of people killed by the Peverells, and the Souls of the people killed by the Hallows traveled to Hel, the underworld of Asgard, the realm where she reigned supreme, empowering her with each passing day, but all of that came crashing down on top of her head when her father dearest finally started to change and decided that he no longer wanted to subjugate the nine realms with force.

She had no idea how the change came to be, but no matter how much she tried, she wasn't able to bring herself to change… Her father had brought her up to be a weapon, a deterrent, an unstoppable monster who would butcher through his enemies without a second thought, and to be honest, she didn't want to change in the first place… She loved killing, torturing, and butchering her way through an army as brutally as she could…

Alas, her father no longer needed her, and since she couldn't change, she no longer fitted into his worldview, so there was only one thing her father could do after that, but unfortunately for him, it wasn't easy to get rid of her as she was somewhat equal to him in terms of raw power and combat abilities. Though he had her beaten when it came to experience and that was exactly what he used to subdue her and then he bound her lifeforce to Hel, to prevent her from escaping.

Fenris was the only one who fought beside her, but she was killed during the battle and the less she said about her army, the better. Yes, she did have an army, but she never cared much about them… She always believed herself to be a one woman army, which wasn't wrong, so in all of her battles, she charged forward with her army following behind her. Though she never cared if her soldiers lived or died as she was always busy cutting a swath through the enemies. That didn't earn her any points, and her brash and murderous personality created even more discontent between herself and her army.

So, when her father, Odin, attacked her army, he only needed to kill some of them and that was enough to make the rest of her army either desert her or stand against her…

Eventually, she attempted to escape her prison as even though her life force was tied to Hel, it was her realm. In Hel, she reigned supreme and she used that to her advantage to mount an escape so that she could finally claim her rightful throne and wage war against the nine realms, but her father discovered her attempt and decided to send his elite forces to stop her…

She still remembered the way she had butchered her way through the father's vaunted Valkyries. She remembered how she had bathed in their blood and she would have killed every last of those pigeons if her cowardly father hadn't used that chance to seal her again in this wretched place. Though this time, the seal was tied to his own life force, which meant that she couldn't escape this prison as long as her father was alive.

It took her a whole century to finally understand why she failed to escape… Her biggest unbecoming was the fact that she was alone… She didn't have anyone who would fight for her. Her mount, Fenris, was the only being who was completely loyal to her, but Fenris was dead… That is what led her twisted Mind to reach the conclusion in a twisted sort of way that she needed to find someone who would support her in both good and worse without question.

It took her some time, but her twisted Mind finally came to the conclusion that only her husband could support her in such a manner… Alas, there was nobody beside her in this wretched place, so she would have to wait until she was out of Hel. Then there was the fact that she wouldn't just pick anyone as her husband… He needed to be worthy enough to share her bed, but Hela knew how high of a standard that was, so she wasn't holding much hope in the first place.

Either way, she would have to wait until her father was finally dead…

Though all of that changed only a few months ago, when the last Peverell she had been watching awakened an intriguing power. She had been watching him since the day he was born and while she would admit that the boy was probably the most impressive Peverell to ever walk on Midgard, that was it… At the end of the day, he was a simple Midgardian, and no matter what, he wouldn't become anything more than that. Alas, that changed a few months ago when he finally awakened something called the X-Gene.

Hela had come across one such Mutant in the past and she had ripped him apart with her bare hands. That Mutant wasn't anything special, but the last Peverell she had been watching was really special… Right now, he was weak, but his X-Gene gave him unlimited potential. If guided properly then he would be more than worthy enough to marry her… Hela didn't care that she was so much older than him, nor did she care about the fact that he was already in love with his own mother.

Someone would call her cradle robber, she had come to learn the term from watching the Peverells born through the time while she was trapped in here but finding a worthy man was just so hard, and as a Goddess, a few thousand years here and there wouldn't matter in the long run… Unlike the rest of her Divine Family, she didn't have an expiry date thanks to her connection with Hel. As long as Hel would exist, she would keep existing too without getting old, and what if he loved his own mother?

Hela didn't believe that incest was wrong… After all, she was a Goddess and even if the other Gods and Goddess weren't eternal like her, they would live a long life. So, she didn't think that there was anything wrong with someone trying to keep their bloodline pure… And the matter of having to share a man with another woman was no big deal for her as knew that powerful men were bound to have more than one lover, so even though she was an extremely proud woman, she could get used to the idea if the man she was sharing was powerful enough.

Hela knew that the boy was murderous, but not murderous enough for her, but it was alright as right now, he was simply an empty canvas and she could paint him however she wished… Though, now that the boy was in front of her, she realized that it wasn't going to be that easy… Her asshole of a father had raised her to be an extremely good weapon, but he didn't raise her to be a diplomat… She had only two ways of dealing with a negotiation.

Either her fearful reputation would be enough to scare the opposition into compliance or she would kill her opposition until there was nobody left to oppose… Alas, neither of those methods would work here. She could try to take his mother hostage to force him into compliance and that had been her initial idea, but she knew that he would stab her in the back as soon as he realized just how powerful he truly was. No… No… She couldn't have had that, so a peaceful path was her only option, no matter how distasteful it felt.

She was able to partially summon him into Hel, thanks to the Hallow and the Peverell blood and Magic in his body and even that would have been impossible to achieve if the seal wasn't already weakening… She had noticed that in the last half of the century, the seal had started to weaken and cracks had started to form all around. It came as a great joy to her when she realized that her father was not for long in Asgard and she had used one of those cracks to reach out to the Hallow, so she could summon the last Peverell.

"How about this? You accept to become my student so that I could teach you everything while in return you would make a Magical vow that you will come to my assistance whenever I am in danger?" Hela suggested diplomatically even though it felt so distasteful…
