Let me help you relax a bit

Their mother and sister were lying on the bed while all kinds of machines attached to their body while maintaining their health. They were in serious condition and in need of the operation which was scheduled today. According to the doctors, they were kept on heavy sedatives necessary for their condition. He was checking his condition while he kept his conversation with his sister as there was nothing they can do except pray for them.

"Don't worry about them, it's going to be alright.", his second sister, Lumina consoled him because he was making a very sad face. Although she was also sad, she did not want him to feel too much burden as he already solved many of them himself.

"I know. I'm not worried that much and you don't have to worry too. They will quickly get better very soon.", he consoled her back while sitting on the sofa near them.

"Alright. Let me help you relax a bit.", she quickly went near him, moved his body as to face his back toward her, and started to massage him. Her soft hand started to massage his head and shoulders.

"Why do you want to massage me all of a sudden?", he asked while letting her what she wanted.

"You must be tired these days so I'm massaging you besides I always used to do it. What's the big deal?", she kept massaging and replied while placing his back on her chest.

"I used to be a kid back then but I'm grown up now, you know.", he protested while trying to get up.

"But you are still my dearest baby brother so do as I asked.", she grabbed him and did not let him go. He made it even worse because he was practically sleeping on top of her.

"Alright. You win but can I sit a little comfortably?", he gave up and requested.

"That's better. Alright move over here.", she grinned and pointed toward the floor. He got up and sat on the floor near her. She was sitting on the sofa while he was on the floor facing his back towards her so it was very easy for her to massage him.

"I don't really understand why you always do massages for me.", he asked while still somewhat happy receiving her nice massage.

"There is no particular reason. Besides I'm not the only one that gives you a massage.", she ruffled his hair and said.

"Yeah.", he sighed and said because everyone in his family massaged him from time to time when he returned home.

"Did you talk to sister-in-law about her treatment yesterday?", she asked.

"Yes, I did but I could not convince her until now.", he sighed and replied.

"I have a clue what she is thinking. In fact, we sometimes feel the same way.", she nodded and said.

"You all feel the same way. What is it?", he asked while getting puzzled.

"Sigh… that we are being a burden to you.", she sighed and said.

"How can you guys be my burden? That is ridiculous because you guys are the reason I'm still alive today. You guys are my everything, you know that right?", he conveyed his feeling while getting emotional.

"I know that too. But because of us, you have to suffer from hardship and have to go through many troubles.", she said while tears fell down from her eyes.

"What's the big deal about that? You guys always did the same for me. For you guys I can do anything.", he said while turning his head towards her and wiping her tears. She cried a little bit more but quickly calmed herself down and hugged him from behind for a long time.

"Brother, we may understand and be happy about it. But sister-in-law is a little bit different, you have to make her understand, alright.", she collected herself and said her concern.

"How am I supposed to do that?", he asked while looking at her.

"I don't know. Ask her what she wants, make her feel like family more.", she replied after thinking about it.

"I thought I already did that, didn't I?", he said while confused.

"No. That's probably not enough. Although she loves our family, she may feel out of place because the real connection between us is gone.", she further emphasized.

"That's… sigh... I'll talk to her.", he sighed while thinking about it and said.

They talked about many things and more time passed by. Meanwhile, the nurses kept checking the patient from time to time. After spending lots of time, they headed outside to eat some food and went to a nearby restaurant. After eating food, his sister went to the hospital while he went to buy some snacks. He quickly searched for some snacks, ice creams, dry fruits, and a couple of pregnancy strips and bought it all. He finally headed towards the hotel room while carrying a bunch of plastic bags and entered the room.
