chapter III

~Yuki: POV~

I looked around from the looks of it Mother was off getting food wall I was sitting down in my small bed I climbed out my tail stretching back and forth to show I was happy which I was pretty happy. I jumped down next to my dad not too low of a drop and sat down next to him waiting for him to get up. My hair was messy and my horns were very stubby my wings were pretty small and they looked like they wouldn't let me fly but….that wouldn't stop me from trying.

I tried a few things none of which worked at all I heard my father grumble lifted his head and looked over at me.

"What are you doing out of your bed Yuki?" My father asked as I ran up to him and sat down.

"Did Mother let you out I don't see why she would mind if I was asleep?" He said putting his head to the side and I did the same to seem more like a child.

"I am back." Mother said landing with a pig I made my way over to her and sat down for food.

"You can walk since when?!" Mother said as I sat down putting a wing around me. I put my hands out for food I mean that I won't.

"She will only walk for food I think," My father said with sarcasm.

"Oh shut up Hex," She said glaring at him and grabbed some of the pig and gave it to me for me to eat. I was happy and ate and sat in my small spot.

"Hay why don't we bring her on one of our hunting tips!" My father said walking around me.

"No not going to happen she is a child, not a big dragon!" My mother roared.

"You said that it was okay when she learned to walk and she needs to learn," Farther said lashing out at her and sitting down by me.

"She is barely a few months old she is not going to burnt with us." My mother said with a loud booming voice.

"How about this if she has one stat that is higher than 10 she can come with us," My father said rolling his eyes at this.

"Fine! Yuki can you show me your stats." Mother said looking down at me.

"I don't think she can just-" I popped open my stats and showed them to Mother without much care. 

"Hehehe Yeah, I think she can come with us don't you think so?" My father said snarkily.

"Wait look at her skills she has two S ranks." My mother said narrowing her eyes at me. I looked down trying not to meet her eyes.

'Is that back are S ranks like Forbidden or something like that I don't want to die I just got here.' I pulled my wings close to me.

"Which is a better reason for her to tag along She has strong skills and high stats-" My mother cut him off.

"Skills and stats that no normal dragon can have to get [Fire Control] You need to have 50 different fire-related skills or be blessed by a goddess same with [Earth Control] it's not normal! As for the stats, it is not even possible for a level 1 to have such stats. You and me are the ones that know this the best?!" My mother said ranting on and on.

'So I did do something in human or dragon ever what I have isn't normal but why me make it because I am a reincarnation that would make some sense I don't think so really.' I thought about why for a good minute but still couldn't truly understand why I wasn't that big in my last life I was just there for my life 'In the way'. As my mother would put it but I don't truly care what she thinks she is the one that made me who I am now. Dead reborn and now a dragon that's in this newfound mess. Man in another life she is still in my way. 

"Fine I get that but still if she does know what to do with the power that she has as she is still a kid she won't be able to do anything at all in the end and you won't do that for her." My father said after a long moment he had a good point and a strong one at that. The cave that I lived in had a little path on it so people could come in and fight mother and father they never make it far I know that much. I am not that dumb you know.

I walked over to the path with pleading eyes. My mother looked at me for a long moment before she said anything.

"How about this I will let her come with us but she will only watch Once she becomes the age of 2 she can start hunting with us far." Mother said looking down at me and giving in to the cuteness.

'Mwahahaha I win mother I win >:3' I thought to myself walking down the path full of happiness.

"My god she is so cute. We are pretty lucky that we got her." My father said just loud enough then me to hear but I don't think he knew I heard him. 

I looked around the forest happy to be free from the ficking cave ran around looking at the trees and bugs that were around. 

"Do you like the forest, Yuki?" My father said looking down at me Mother was looking around for danger or something that could hurt us. I nodded my head and walked over to Mother.

"I found a pig follow me." Mother said flicking her tail to where it was. I followed her over to where it was it was bigger than me my fluffy fur went with the wind and my claws dug into the dirt.

"No Yuki you aren't hunting we are," My mother said putting her claw in front of me. I rolled my eyes and walked away to find another pig to hunt. I walked around a little bit and found another one Mother was a little far away and Father was off at the cave right now.
