Ch-7

Here's another chappy for you guys; this is for lagging it with the last chappy.

I am bad at writing interactions and facial expressions; no worries, though; hopefully, with time, I get better. I know I have other things I need to work on, but these two things stick out the most to me...

Jill comes out from behind the throne.

She stares at the prince.

"I have to decline your proposal. My heart, body, and soul belong to another. Although he may not know it at the moment, when my time comes, he'll know it. I am sorry, however, that you had to waste my sister's time." Once Jill finished speaking, she walked away; they can hear a door being closed.

Kenny's face looked funny to Esme; that she had to cover her mouth to hide her laugh.

Kenny then stands up because once Jill jammed that spike into his heart, he had fallen to his knees in despair.

He looks at Esme and clears his throat.

"Before you say anything... Think twice before you disrespect my sisters." Esme was blunt with her words; she already knew what the little brat in front of her would have said next.

Esme didn't want to kill him for his foolishness.

Kenny shivered.

'She knew!' Kenny thought as he feels Esme killing intent increasing.

Kenny lets out a deep breath to try and calm himself down.

"I understand you well; then... I hope both Monarchs, The Western and Eastern Sectors, can come together to have peace talks.

You lost a father, and Our Emperor lost his son." Kenny was about to leave when a golden flash appeared before him.

It was Cecily wearing black assassin clothing. Her hair in a bun, her eyes were cold and emotionless.

"Try anything with my younger sister's; I swear to Kami... You'll be rejoining your elder brother soon." Cecily then disappeared once she said her warning.

Kenny's back was sweaty.

'Why are all the women here powerful & and cruel?' Kenny thought as he was out of the throne room.

Kenny stopped walking because before him was a family photo.

A man about 21 years old is sitting on the throne while the monarch is sitting on his lap with love in her eyes as she looks at the man. However, the sisters were surrounding the throne; however, they all had smiles on their faces instead of their cold faces.

Kenny looks deeply towards this photo.

'Damn! How did he do it? How did he tame these tigresses?' Kenny thought as he started to walk away.

Back in the throne room...

Esme sits on her throne drinking red wine.

"Sis, you think that was the right call?" Emma appears to ask her eldest sister this question.

Esme puts down her glass of wine and gets up from the throne; she starts to walk towards the window.

As she looks towards the forest.

"He said at most he needs a month to become an A-rank Z Hunter. I believe he can do it; Melio was at death's door. However, he came back to me; this time, I am going to treat him better.

I was cold and uncaring; but, he said something to me the other day.

Melio wants me to meet him halfway. He wasn't asking for my body; Melio is asking for my heart. He wants our relationship to work... So do I... However, we all made an oath... At that time, I didn't think he would come back to us, nor did I think we all take this oath seriously.

Amelia, Hera, and Jill all have feelings for Melio. When Melio was still in school, Jill was his lab partner; she always came home talking about the interesting this Melio would come up with.

Hera and Amelia were the ones providing Melio with work once he graduated from the academy. If he and I didn't meet that day, no doubt in my mind one of them or both of them would have been his by now.

Now that both of them are in the League of Maidens guild and every member has that oath to take..." Esme stopped talking because, in her heart, she regrets this oath but knows that Melio is worthy of them all.

Emma knows full well... She took that oath; sooner or later, they'll all be with Melio.

Esme ring starts to tingle.

'I hope you are okay...' She thought back to his warning.

**Small Flashback**

"No matter what, don't come to help me. I need to survive and rely on myself through any/all life and death situations I'm in. I need to do this to rank up." Melio said to Esme before giving her a passionate kiss and leaving.

After Melio had left, Esme stood there looking at the door with a red face and her hand slowly touching her lips that can still feel his kiss.

Leo is telling Melio how surprised he was when; Orcs ambushed them; they normally roam around with a group of 20 when there's a shaman as the leader.

Melio listened closely then looked at Vivi; that's when he knew something was up...

'That fucking fag.' Melio thought as he remembers what happened at the Z Hunters HQ.

James stops the group by raising his arm.

"There's a small group of zombies heading towards that underground cave." James pointed at the hole on the group by a giant tree.

Leo walks forward and looks at it for himself.

Melio walked next to Vivi.

"Hey, I think that ambush earlier was by that girl-looking prince who held your wrist the other day. " Melio whispered to Vivi.

Vivian wasn't surprised. Luckily her former guild master's husband helped.

" I figured, there was no way a shaman Orc will only have 8 orcs under it. I am thankful for your help, though. " Vivian said to Melio with a smile on her face.

Melio nods and looks at the cave.

"Hey, let me take point from here on out with James. I can sense danger coming better that way." Melio walked to Leo told him what was on his mind when he was looking at the cave.

Everyone was surprised that Melio has a sixth sense, a legendary skill.

Little did they know, Melio's version is op, and it hasn't even reached its full potential.
