Later on during the evening.

Melio is in a deep sleep; in his dreams, Melio's previous life flashes by.

Melio opens his eyes.

'That... Let's forget about the past and move forward.' Melio thought as he sits up, only to notice an arm wrapped around his waist.

Melio looks to his right; Esme is lying there taking a nap above the covers.

'Beautiful.' Melio thought; he slowly moves strings of her hair behind her ear.

That gentle touch slowly wakes up Esme from her beautiful dream. She looks up a little them spots her husband looking at her with gentle eyes.

'My husband?' Esme thought to herself, making her face slowly turn red. Ever since he throws his body in front of her, Esme's thoughts about Melio changed more than she could have thought possible.

Melio and Esme stare into each other's eyes, then the door opens. Cecily enters the room finding her elder sister lying in bed with her husband whose shirtless.

Cecily closes her eyes.

"Esme, Emma, Jill, and Sage encounter a problem while at the HQ. The second and third sons from one of the five noble houses, the Soak, and the Drake family. The two annoying brats are harassing them. I just received a call from Hera, who is upstairs in a meeting with Merlin." Cecily tells them both as she walks over towards the bed.

Cecily was surprised by her elder sister. Esme is slightly lying on top of Melio as he is sitting against the headboard.

Cecily ignores it; she knows that her sister's feelings towards Melio since that day have changed. How could it not? After all, Melio ignored that fact; he could have died receiving that final blow.

Esme looks at Cecily, then at Melio.

" I haven't talked to Melio..." Esme didn't finish her sentence cause Melio tapped her shoulder.

"Let's all go; I need to take a look at new missions for tomorrow. " Melio said. Esme realized something within Melio's eyes.

'He's mad...' Esme thought as she slowly gets up from the bed.

"Okay, let's go." Cecily walked out first to get the car ready.

Esme turned and looked at Melio whose putting his mask into his ring that was on the night-stand.

Melio feels a pair of eyes on him; he turns his head around and spots his wife looking like an 18-year-old that spotted her crush.

This brings a smile to Melio's face.

Esme's face turned red once that smile of his showed up.

Esme walks out in quick steps, causing Melio to laugh at her actions, making her stumble once she heard his laughter.

Melio then walks out.

Location: 101 Main St. The Z Hunter's Association Guild; The second-floor level is for B/A-rank Z Hunter's.

The build has five levels, first-floor D/C-rank Hunter's, also registration. The main lobby also has a restaurant.

Second-floor, B/A-rank Z Hunter's.

Third floor, S-rank Z Hunter's.

Fourth floor, SS-rank Z Hunter's.

The fifth floor, SSS-rank Z Hunter's, also the Guild Master's Office.

Melio can walk onto all fourth levels as long as he's with Esme or reaches those ranks later on.

In the car, Melio sits in the back while the two sisters talk.

Melio shakes his head and smiles as he looks outside the city.

'I wonder...' Melio thought then the car came to a complete stop.

"We're here. Let's go see what's going on." Esme said as she then gets out of the car along with her sister Cecily.

Melio gets off the car and follows the two beauties.

When Melio entered the doors, people were surrounding four women and six men.

His wife stood in the back to watch what her sisters will do.

Melio, knowing being too shy and acting dense, won't show any progress with his wife.

Melio walks by her side her holds her hand tightly as he watches the scene in front of them.

Esme was surprised by Melio's action; she didn't dislike it, and her hand felt a warmth that she is slowly coming to love.

Esme looks forward to watching the scene before her.

"Kevin, leave Vivi and my sister alone. They have rejected you and Sam. Leave us alone or else." Emma yelled at Kevin from the Soak family and Sam from the Drake family.

"No one rejects me. My family isn't scared of the royal family because my grandfather is too an SSS-rank Z hunter. " Kevin said mockingly.

Kevin then grabs Jill by her forearm looking at her with lustful eyes.

'I thought this was happening on the second floor? Damn, how thirsty is this niggah?' Melio thought. Melio lets go of Esme's hand, killing intent filled the entire room.

Everyone felt where that killing intent came from.

'Nani?' Everyone thought as it's coming from a D-rank yet, this killing intent made them step back as Melio walks towards the drama.

Kevin looks at Melio then at Jill and Emma.

The closer Melio is getting to Kevin and Sam felt the killing intent intensify.

Without any warning or talking; Melio straight up punches Kevin on the temple.

Melio grabs Kevin's collar to get a hold of Kevin's head.

Melio then rises his right knee smashing it to Kevin's face as he pulls Kevin's head down.

Pow!

Bang!

Thud!

Kevin was out cold.

Melio looks at Sam, who lets go of Vivi.

"Let's go home... Now." Melio said in a serious voice while staring Sam down.

The girls and the crowd woke up from what felt like a dream.

'He's cruel.' Everyone thought as they look at the bloody Kevin on the floor.

Jill ran to Emma.

Emma had noticed her sister walk in earlier with her brother-in-law. However, she was surprised to find herself looking at a reliable back that wasn't her sisters but her brother-in-law.

Emma, Jill, Sage, and Vivi walked towards; Esme whose by the doors with Cecily.

Cecily was shocked by how Melio handled the situation.

Melio before the event, wouldn't dare hurt a fly. But his skills on the battlefield and now just showed her that Melio is a wolf pretending to be a sheep.

Esme looks at her husband.

As he walks back with an embarrassed look on his face.

It's unknown; what Esme is currently thinking at this moment.

However, once Melio turned his back to Sam.

Sam launched an attack.

Esme's eyes widen.

Then Melio jumped up, and he spine kicked Sam with all he got right on Sam's temple.

Melio lands.

"Fuck, you want my life? Fine, since I can't kill you. I'll rob both of you. "Melio's words were heard all over the lobby.

A few thought 'Shamless'.

Some people were speechless.

Others laughed while trying to hide it behind their hand.

Melio quickly robs both of them, then quickly walks to his wife.

"Wife! I earned a good harvest today! Let me invite you to dinner tonight, my treat!" Melio yells while speed walking with a shameless smile on his face.

Melio's words made every man laugh and made women feel sorry for the woman married to this shameless fellow.

However, they were jealous of the woman.

Esme shook her head as Melio clears why he didn't kill the two when he could. Instead of losing their lives, they'll lose their storage rings for compensation.

Others wouldn't understand Melio's words. Those with witted minds knew exactly why he said those words.

The sisters and the two other girls were shocked.

The sisters were dumbfounded that Esme didn't scold Melio acting shamefully.

The league of Maiden's guild members Vivi and Sage were shocked that their guild master was married.

Also, her husband is very handsome. They completely ignored his shamefulness.

Melio grabs his wife by the waist. Melio's lips land on Esme's lips the two share a passionate kiss.

The crowd was shocked, they all thought Melio was just a shameless man; who didn't know who the current monarch was.

However, they all remembered that their divine monarch was married!

Many dreams were crushed; Melio unknowingly became the most hated man in the Western Sector.

Vivi and Sage remembered something while looking at their guild master.

The sisters were shocked.

Melio stopped kissing his wife; He looks at her deeply.

Esme looks at him back; however, the cold look she normally has was completely gone. It was replaced that of a good wife looking at her lovely husband.

Unknown to them Esme was pinching Melio's back after she recovered from the kiss.

Melio smiles at her.

"Wife. " Melio said to Esme.

"Let's go. " Esme said to Melio.

Melio can only nod and follow his wife to the car like a husband whose in trouble.

The girls laugh at Melio as he has a look of defeat on his face.

Merlin looks at the window towards the black Audi driving away.

'I wasn't expecting him to be this good. Was he always playing wolf in sheep clothing?' Merlin thinks as he turns around to make two phone calls.

Melio is now the one driving home, while Esme looks out the window.

"Wife? Are you mad at me?" Melio asked Esme.

Hearing Melio's words, the girls in the back stopped talking to listen.

"No... " Esme replied not looking at Melio.

Melio lets a sigh out and stays silent for the rest of the drive home.

Melio was first to walk out and enter the house.

His actions worried the one sitting in the back.

Then Melio came out with a backpack.

"Don't wait up for me. If you need me you know how to reach me." Melio's voice was cold.

Esme realized something.

However, it was too late.

Melio entered his special tree and disappeared.

The special tree is named Mundo by Melio. Its roots are worldwide; it allows Melio to travel wherever he wants.

"Esme, please tell me you didn't forget what today was. " Emma said to her sister.

"Our anniversary?" Esme said confusingly.

"Sigh, you did forget didn't you. " Emma said while shaking her.

"Yeah, it is. That's why he asked you out to eat. However, you didn't answer him. Also, you weren't open to a conversation with him when Melio tried to speak with you." Jill said.

Cecily shrugs.

'Damn.' Esme thought.

Melio appears in his old home; He lays on the bed.

'Did I overreact? I mean... Not like she has feelings for Me. Maybe she only sees me as a friend.' Melio's mind was filled with many thoughts.

Melio took a quick one-hour nap before waking up to eat.

However, when he woke up the table had fresh home cook meals, candle lite, and his beautiful wife sitting on the edge of the bed staring at him as he slept.

"Hey... Hubby." Esme.

Esme sounded shy and her face turned red when she said that word.

Melio's mind was blown by how adorable she sounded and how she currently looks.
