The thing is, that wendigo for some reason changed into a loli?, that could grant him super powers for a day or when his life is in danger?. Chapter 44: The Wrong Power To Have Right Now

The group had decided to take a short break by camping in the woods. It was mainly because Doron was too tired and needed rest because, for some reason, he was just too tired mentally.

They had left the swampy area since camping in a place like that was just inviting the bugs and crawlers of the swamp to have a party on your skin.

It took them a while about half the night, but they found a good camping spot.

The group was seated around a campfire. Don't worry, Doron was not on firewood duty this time.

They were all seated around a campfire, everyone in their own thoughts as they gazed at the dancing embers of the flames.

Their new additions to the group were Ada, Khuubat, and the three-year-old girl sitting on Patra's lap, Rimuru.

Khuubat was a little fidgety as she looked at Doron, and when he looked at her, she would turn her face away and blush.

Rimuru was busy dealing with a cookie that Ada had suddenly conjured from nowhere, since when Doron tamed her, she appeared in her familiar form and started calling him papa.

She had light blue hair with red edges and had heterochromatic eyes; her left eye was blue, and the right was red.

The strange thing, though, was the small horns on her forehead, making her look like a cute little demon girl.

Evidently, those add-ons on her head were the result of the blessing of the god, who suddenly took an interest in Khuubat's dungeon.

Ada said that she was supposed to be a young girl of about thirteen years old like Khuubat, but she still had the mind of a child, since she was a pseudo dungeon core that had not yet gotten sentience at all, and she had also lost her memories for some reason, so they could not ask her some questions.

"The power of creation, huh?" Ada suddenly broke the silence as she spoke.

Yes, she had seen Doron's powers, since he used them to build the tents that were currently surrounding the campfire, and for some reason, Ada's tent was further from the group. She, of course, did not really mind the isolation that the group was giving her; as Doron had said, just because she helped them doesn't mean they would just go and have some BBQ with Beer and start shouting Family!... Oh, and Patra explained to her that BBQ was just roasted meat and some other things, according to how she explained it.

"Yes," Doron said as he looked at the demigod in front of him.

He was flanked by Iris and Diakonos, who were actually given permission to summon her children when Doron's life was threatened.

"Why that power?" Ada continued asking with a curious expression, and her question made Doron frown.

"What do you mean by that?" Iris was the one who asked; she felt that this woman was questioning her judgement of giving Doron the power of the joker.

"It's simple; he is just too weak to use this power." Ada's blunt words made Doron frown, but he did not argue back at her.

She was, of course, right. Look at the technologies he currently had, yet he could not use even a quarter of them; he could not even access his stupidly sealed memories.

"But why do you think that my weakness has anything to do with my powers?" Doron asked.

"If I am right, you can't really create anything you want, right? At least there has to be a restriction of some sort, because I am sure that the gods of this world would have sealed you a long time ago if they found out about your powers, since you would literally be a walking armory, and the fact that you are the realm menace is another cause for concern," Ada said after contemplating a bit. "And also, before you could think of what to create, your enemy would have killed you a hundred times over if they were powerful individuals, and from your aura, I can tell you are in the semi-circle rank; basically, you are still a beginner."

"You don't have to be so blunt about it." Doron could only twitch his lips with annoyance.

If Iris had not told him that this pirate lady was not a demigod, he would have gone over and licked her. What? Do you want to tell me that you would slap a lady that was able to capture two dungeon cores like she was plucking apples from a tree was just some poor little girl on the street? No, thank you; he was not that dumb like some of those side characters in some novels.

"Is that a fire?"

Speaking of those stupid side characters, some of them have just appeared right now.

They were a total of eight men in ragged clothing, and from the little illumination provided by the fire, it was evident that they had been beaten up, since some of them still had blood coming out of their wounds.

Doron just sighed, as he already knew what was going to happen next.

It was going to be the classic bandit group threatening the MC and his female harem, and then it leads to the bandits having their asses handed to them, and then they go and call for reinforcements, and then another round of ass whooping continues.

"Are they your lovers?" The man that Doron considered their leader spoke.

He looked handsome in an average way; he won't receive another look when you pass him by, but he was one of those men who, if he were on earth, could be those reliable office workers that worked a nine-to-five job and had a loving wife that cheated on him with his best friend and three children who see him as a loser, and then one day he goes to work and realizes that he was the heir to some... Wait, where was he going with this again? Never mind that; what did the man say? Are they your lovers?

Patra, Iris, Ada, Diakonos, Khuubat, who was furiously blushing, and Rimuru, who had an innocent look on her face as she sucked her thumb, all looked at Doron, and for some reason, Doron felt like any wrong answer from him would lead to him sleeping outside in the cold, and he was sure that they had a way to prevent him from creating a tent with his powers when he had recovered.

Seeing how the girls in the group looked at the only man in their midst, the leader of the bandit group cursed under his breath as he looked at his men, who had pale faces.

'I guess we are going to get another beating again, and to think we would meet two of these kinds of people in one day, our luck is really bad' The leader thought as he threw the thought of running away out of his head and prepared for another trashing.

Doron was continuously sweating buckets as he had not really taken time to look around him. In just about half a month, or even more, he was now surrounded by beauties left and right; of course, one of them was his power giver, the other was his slave, the next one was the beast girl he had just accepted as his somehow beast companion, the other was a demigod, the other was a Loli girl, and the next one was his not biological daughter, and let's not forget the wife that he had left at home as he went around to get stronger.

In a way, he had actually created the almost perfect harem protagonist story.

"Ahem, I want to change my powers," Doron decided to use the 'bring back the important topic' card. I hope it works though.

The girls just looked at each other and just hooked their heads as they looked at Doron, and then focused on the bandit group that, for some reason, had not even made a move on them when they were clearly distracted.

"Are they really bandits, or are they just beggers?" Patra asked nobody in particular as she looked at the group of ragged men in front of her.

"Are you not here to rob us?" Ada asked amusedly as she looked at these poor mortals, who had clearly walked to their doom.

"Please, we are just Beggers looking for a nice and warm place to stay, and we saw the light in the instance and headed over in hopes of maybe seeing some kind people who would let us stay alive... I mean, let us stay with them." The leader said, with sweat running down his back as he looked at the lady who was dressed like a pirate, that for some reason he felt like all his secrets were laid bare in front of her, and he could do nothing but let her gaze at them.

"Are you sure you were not trying to rob us?" Iris also felt like these guys were lying. 'Is this how the people of this world steal or are these guys the distraction?' She thought as she quietly sent her roots to cover a distance of nearly 500 metres around them and did not sense anyone around them. 'Strange, way to rob'. She thought when she did not sense anyone around them.

"Ha-ha, why would we rob others? We did not want to say this before, but we are actually merchants who got rid of our goods; my name is actually Randolph. The leader said it with the sincerest and most honest smile, and the only thing remaining was a halo over his head and some angel wings.

When Iris and Patra heard this, they could not hide their smiles as they looked at Doron, who was now looking at 'Randolph' with a gaze that could kill.

'Shameless, who would believe that bullshit, and that is my go-to excuse too?' He cursed in his mind and just looked away.

"It's okay, you guys can stay," Ada suddenly said.

Making Doron and the others, including the bandits, look at her with shock.

"What? I like the name Randolph." She just shrugged at their stares and said.

'She believed that?' They all thought.

Doron knew that she did not really believe them, but maybe she had another plan for these bandits, which she did not want to tell the others.

"But you guys would stay on another side of our camp; you know why, right?" Ada said with a smile as she winked at the leader, who just nodded with an understanding look.

"We won't make any trouble for you guys," the leader said, and he left with his group.

"They don't have tents for themselves," Khuubat suddenly said.
