In the Woods

PLANET VEROZ (EARTH SECOND DIMENSIONAL REPLICA)

Author: I didn't structure the story well. Permit me to talk more of where this setting is situated

Planet Earth seems to be getting overpopulated at every minute. Soon enough, it would be over congested with so many people in it. This all happened when the great scientist on Earth, Veroz Talon, took an expedition to view what was above Earth. Unlike other philosophers with their thinking ability...Veroz was one of the greatest magician ever lived right before time....and then, Veroz with his powers, found himself stuck in another dimension of another world, a world just like Earth. He sojurned in this Earth II and there he found out that this was just a replica. The nature, living things, animate things, all are true to be real. Although this planet is undeveloped, but it can undergo that process in a time. He found his way back home and told his fellow philosophers his findings and solutions in solving the over congested human world, to start another human world. The others who heard Veroz theory thought of it as a tricky one, what if the other dimension is not a bit like planet Earth? Or might undergo a kind of revolution which might wipe out a whole total generation. They can't throw all towels down that easily. They decide to check it out first, stay there for a couple of years and scout. If it would be safe,they would invite those willing to join the expedition and those not willing would remain on Earth. Veroz and the other scientist stayed for three years in the other dimension. Coming back to Earth, they had mission to recruit Earthlings other part of Earth. Most of the humans believed them and went with them to start off a new world and most didn't believe in all of the new planet thing as they were not good with believing.. Those who went to the other dimension stayed, multiplied in numbers to what they are now. They named the planet aftr the founder, Veroz now calling it Planet Veroz.....this planet was where Rory is now...

Rory Vermillion is a scrabby 17year old teenager, well an orphan. His parent died when he was just 13 years of age. Since then it had been a tough time as he lived with his Aunt and her husband. The said aunt was barren so they took him to be their child after all, he looked just like them.

Rory pedalled his bicycle all the way from school and to his Aunt's house. All he did was just whistle and greet the people he knew all from the way. He parked his cycle at the parking garage of the house and proceeded in entering. No one was at home so he just had some much time before he headed to O'Neils house. Going straight to the kitchen, he saw a note on the fridge by his Aunt

"Pie is in the fridge honey...sorry I couldn't make a normal lunch for you. I'll have a food blast tonight just for you.

X.O Aunty"

'What a lovable aunt' Rory thought and smiled. He picked up the honey pie at the fridge and began having them. Oh Lord, his Aunt is one damn hell of a cook. He was still mulching when he received a message from O'Neil on his phone

💬How ya holding up? Still coming here?

He smiled when he read it. He picked it up and began messaging back.

💬Be right there. Having Lunch now

He replied back and continued with the munchy lovable pie. Another message entered again

💬The main street to my house is on a renovation. I suggest you take the woods.

After reading the last message, he gulped hard and just stare at his phone. The woods was a no go area for him. It was just there the feelings of someone watching him started. Now he had to pass that same place to O'Neils house. Great...just great.

He had already promised O'Neil to be there. He can't suddenly say no

💬Is that okay by you? Or you are afraid of the woods😏😏

O'Neil sent again which made Rory's boost to be more efficient that fearful.

💬 I'll be there. I'll take the woods

Rory only typed back and dropped his phone. He was clearly afraid now and scared to go back to the woods.

Now the deal is done. He had to go there. Checking the time now, it was 2:32pm. The walk through the woods to Neil's house would just be of 20 minutes on foot which was more shorter in time. Taking the road would amount to 45minutes with his bicycle. He had to be there early so that he can leave early.

"In the woods....here I come"
