A Year With Super Stars

Synopsis: It was the first day of school. I hated Mondays, I always have. I was seventeen and was hoping to make my first friends in this new town I was in. My mom called just when I was walking through the hallway. It was awkward as my ringing tone was a cat meows. A girl looked at me weirdly and sighed. "Hey, baby, guess what?" Mom's high pitched voice asked. "What?" I asked, less enthusiastic. "Stray Kids! They're going to be admitted to your school. I knew it that's why I enrolled you there". Of course I didn't believe her. What was she on now? "Mom, I gotta go, bye" I said and was about hanging up. "No, baby, I'm being serious. I'd send you the post from JYPE. Not all of them, but 2000 line. Wait" she hung up. I sighed, I wanted to hang up first. I walked slowly to my new class. Not everyone was in class yet. I wanted to walk up to a pretty girl sitting at the back when a notification came in. And my notification sound was a dog barks. Yes, I am that crazy about animals. I hurriedly check the message while the pretty girl placed her bag on the chair besides her making sure I didn't sit besides her. I frowned, if it was my mom I was so going to be mad. My annoyance turned to confusion and then happiness. I literally screamed. JYPE just confirmed. Stray Kids 2000 and 2001 line was to be admitted to my school. The hyung line was admitted to a nearby university. I screamed again. This year was going to be crazy!

Yeah, me either. No one seems to. We just have normal lives, you know? Then suddenly you wake up with this thing eating into you," he swallowed hard, "and that's it. The rest is Wasteland." Zombie Apocalypse In Another World

“For you see, Watson!” “I told you, my name isn’t Watson, it’s Brett.” A clean shaven man covers his face in exasperation at the ridiculous situation. “Being the greatest scientist in the land, I will solve this Zombie problem!” A crazy looking old man says as he leaps to his feet. “I thought you said you were a doctor.” Brett replies. “Shut up! Now, we just need to bring in people from another world until we find one that is resistant to the Zombie disease. By gathering people with widely varying DNA we increase the chance that one will have some odd trait or innate immunity.” The doctor croaks. “I guess, but couldn’t someone on this planet just as easily have something like that?” “We don’t have time. We need to find a cure as quickly as possible. It may only be in one or two towns at the moment but it will soon spread like wildfire and engulf the entire planet!” “Couldn’t we try to quarantine the area and prevent it from spreading.” “Haven’t you ever seen a Zombie movie? That never works.” The doctor waves off Brett as he approaches the summoning circle. “Right, I’m sure those movies were all scientifically accurate.” Brett says as he rolls his eyes. “Also, how do you plan on using someone’s DNA to make a cure? This is a medieval society with no modern technology. We can’t cure a headache let alone manipulating the genome to cure some Zombie disease.” “All in a matter of course, dear Watson.” Doc says as he begins activating the summoning circle. “For the last time, my name’s Brett!” “You may not be able to see as far ahead as I can, but I assure you, I have everything under control. My genius has already begun to bear fruit as I have created the first of many modern installations!” “All you did was make a table.” Brett responds as he walks towards the solid steel table at the center of the summoning circle. “And didn’t you make this with magic? How can you call that a scientific advancement?” “To you it may be just a table but to me it’s the first step to saving the world! Activate!” The summoning circle glows as magic power courses through the complicated runes. A bright light flashes and suddenly an unconscious man is lying flat on the table. “It worked! Check to see if he’s okay!” “Are you surprised it worked? I thought you said you tested this thing.” “Shut up and check on him!” Brett places his hand on the man’s neck to check his pulse. “Yup, he’s fine.” “Fantastic! And you didn’t even collapse into a black hole from touching him.” “I’m sorry, what?!” “Oh, due to the disruption in spacetime there was a small chance something like that could have happened. Obviously, it was nothing to worry about.” “Maybe for you! Why didn’t you say anything before I touched him?!” “Quiet, he’s waking up!”
