Warrior of Black and White

As the prince of a large kingdom, everyone has high expectations of Rai. A huge reason for this is his bloodline. He is the descendent of 3 legends. A Celestial Mage, a Vampire king, and a Dragon Lord. But, instead of needing years to finish boring subjects like math, reading, and stuff like that, Rai has an easy pass to success. Memories. Oddly enough, Rai has the memories of his 3 legendary ancestors. Even though this is good enough on his own, he has something more strange, a system. With the help of the system, Rai quickly realizes, he is not reincarnated, and he has the memories of his ancestors. Seems like he'll have a nonchallenging life, huh? But Nah. In the memories, all of his ancestors all died the same way... By a strange shadow that devours every strong being... In a world where dragons can leave surrender their species and become humans, where vampires exist, and where a normal person can become a powerful immortal deity.

28: Getting ready

The elf mused his chin, "Interesting... Well! There's your fortunes, have fun and good luck in life!"

"Wait, what do those colors mean?"

"Eh, I dunno, find it yourself," The elf shrugged.

After a long day of shopping, we finally made it back to the castle. After separating supplies and choosing rooms, we could finally sleep in peace!

Well, I decided not to for now, as I had forgotten to train. Although we were automatically allowed to enroll in the academy, we still had to test for something called 'Ranks'.

At that time, I found that the academy hierarchy has 4 ranks, these are the notes I took.

__________

1: Royals; Exactly what that sounds like.

2: Knights; Exactly what that sounds like.

3: Commoners; Exactly what that sounds like.

4: Loners; Exactly what that sounds like.

__________

Unsurprisingly, my ancestor, Rein Yan, disliked the hierarchy, as he was a commoner before he was known as the great mage.

Royals are people that have a rank of 25 or lower. Meaning they are strongest.

Knights are separated into two. Royal knights, and knights.

Royal knights are rank 26 to 100. Knights are rank 101 to 250

Commoners are people that have a rank of 251 to 650. Meaning they are third strongest.

Loners are people that have a rank of 651 and higher. Meaning they are the weakest.

The Royals stay in the best building called the 'Royal building', obviously.

Two 'royal knights' technically guard one royal, so they stay in a building plainly called, 'The royal knight building,'

The normal knights, stay in a building called 'the training grounds,' They guard the training grounds and make sure others do not exit their room after curfew. Technically, the knights enforce the rules.

The commoners stay in the rooms called 'the commoners'. And yes, it really is. Whoever made the names sure didn't try hard... The commoners are technically citizens that have to follow the rules. However, like the others, they can do quests, dungeons, and some other things. They can also work 'jobs' for merit points, quests also give merit points. With these points, you can buy skills, books, clothing, weapons, and more things.

__________

These were the notes I was writing at the moment. I thought pretty hard and I decided, I'm going to be a commoner. First off, I had the same privileges as the other ranks, except, I would be freer, without having to do work or guarding like the knights, I would have time to gain merit points!

And so, this was what I would do tomorrow. Rank testings will last 3 days for 700 kids. But, choosing ranks will take 4 days. Because of the time, the students would need a place to stay in. Because of that, the academy provides each student a room in a hotel, free of charge.

My plan seemed quite solid, so I decided, I will follow this!

I walked out of my office, I was already ready to sleep, as it was 8: 00 pm, but I decided I needed to train.

My private training room was vast, it had multiple weapons I could use, but I already knew what to use. Using my space ring, I took out a rapier. 'Inspect'

__________

Sword: Rapier

Student Rank; 10.

This rapier is made of Grenleen. The hilt is made of pure silver.

Skill: Magnetic repel;

<Using this skill, the sword will repel anything magnetic. The heaviest it can repel is at least one pound heavier than the rapier itself. Recharge; 10 minutes.>

Created by: '???'

__________

The skill seemed useful so I got it, little did I know, this was a treasure!

I lit up the training room and I sat down on the ground, inspecting the sword.

It was brilliantly polished, I needed to test out the skill!

I quickly ran to the nearest sword, trusting the skill, I threw the sword at a 90-degree angle, making it fall on me. 'Magnetic repel!'

Instead of falling at me, the sword I threw bounced off my rapier as if there was a force field!

'To bad the maximum repel strength is one pound heavier than the rapier itself,' This meant that if a sword was to hit my rapier than if its strength was one pound heavier than my rapier, the repel power would be weakened or not work.

For example, if I swung my rapier at a strength measurement device, and if its power was 10 pounds/weight. than my rapier would not be able to repel it fully, as 10 pounds is heavier than my rapier.

After evaluating everything in my head, I trained for 2 hours.

I trained the Yan technique. But from what I've trained in the Yan technique so far, I've changed barely anything, why? Well, because I did the basics of it, which only helped in stamina and strength. I needed to practice the actual skills, so to use that, I needed to either read books, find a teacher, or use my 'stolen memories'.

I went with the latter.

A boy with short curly blond hair woke up as the sun's brilliant rays shined through the windows of the room.

The first thing he heard was the winds rustling the whispering trees of the royal garden. 'To say my friend is the prince of a huge kingdom! I sure got lucky, and he isn't a spoiled brat like the other royals...'

Brayden was thinking of the Crian nation, the guild/nation he came from. It also had it's its hierarchy. Starting from king down to barons, the two great kingdoms. He was the son of the marquis. All his life he was ordered to do this and that by the princes of the Crian nation, when his family finally moved to the Hart kingdom, its royals took pity on them, giving his father the title of Baron.

For the rest of their lives, Brayden's family decided to stay loyal to the Hart kingdom. Never once were they kept in the dark nor abused or mocked by the Hart kingdom.

The Hart kingdom had a King, Queen, 3 princes, and 2 princesses. To their luck, Brayden's family was not abused.

Brayden stood up and got ready for the day. Today was the day the academy would be testing their students for ranks! Brayden was excited, he wanted to be a royal of the academy, if he did succeed, his family would be proud of him!

In another room, A boy with dark brushed up hair, woke up. Getting ready for the exciting day, he quickly got dressed and prepared to eat.

In a private training room, a tired boy was sleeping, with his rapier in a sheath.

'Today will be a big day,' I thought, I quickly spawned a potion using my space ring. 'A stamina potion seems tasty,' surprisingly, it tasted like tea. 'good thing I planned on taking alchemy class,'

It was 7:00 pm, unknowingly, I spent 3 hours training other than my estimate of 2 hours.

'Today will indeed be an important day,' I smiled, 'My goal is to be a commoner, I will not show all my skills. I will only show my weakest skills I've learned,'

And soon, we were off to the Hart kingdom once again.
