Chapter 82: The important thing is tomorrow
Looking up at the vast night sky, YingLuo seated on the roof of the topmost infrastructure of Emei overlooking at the plum trees and huge boulders of rocks at it's vicinity. Although the view from down below was aesthetically pleasing, it did not soothe her absorption of guilt. She defended Emei at most protecting and abiding by their laws that is supposed to be absolute and truthful but yet from what Gu XiNiang had revealed, it seems like she was just only digging on the shallows.
FeiXian is almost out of breath looking for her and was about to give up when he saw her sitting on the roof. Him being able to find her uplifted his spirits and with few twists, turns and jumps across the walls and tip of roofs he finally reached beside her.
"YingLuo… There you are… I've been worried sick looking for you. Come on down and let's eat. It's getting cold out here. It's very bad for you and the baby." FeiXian tried to convince her to head back but yet she answered him with a question.
"FeiXian, now that you know what Emei had done, do you still love me even though I have been part of greater evil?"
YingLuo's eyes are brimming with tears. FeiXian cleared his throat and afterwards, sat closer beside her.
"You shouldn't blame yourself. You just did the right thing defending your school from the accusations however, it does not include you for being the one who committed the greater evil and if you ever did so, I'll still forgive you because that's how love is. You'll always continue forgiving the one that you hold dear."
This time, YingLuo didn't hold back her tears and stood up. She cried like never before. Her mind was going blank. The guilt that she felt slowly faded inside her. All that's left was gratitude and commitment.
FeiXian also stood up and gave YingLuo a warm hug and a kiss on her forehead.
"Tomorrow, we'll report back to his majesty Wei and also to my mother."
YingLuo said with a clogged voice.
"Alright. For now, let's eat and rest. It isn't good for you and the baby to be out here in this cold."
FeiXian held her tightly. A smile curved on YingLuo's face. The stars from up above lit the dark sky and soon after, a shooting star flashed by.

Asuro sipped a cup of tea prepared by his demon servants while sitting along with BeiYin, RuoMin and XueCao. Asuro and XueCao and RuoMin seemed to be enjoying the tea but BeiYin haven't even touched her teacup yet.
Asuro noticed this and gave an eye on RuoMin. RuoMin raised her eyebrows and just shrugged. Finally, Asuro released an exasperated breath and asked BeiYin.
"BeiYin, child… Why don't you take a sip? The tea's good." Asuro smiled with his full teeth showing off his fangs which made BeiYin more uncomfortable.
"Uhh… The tea… Umm… Is it safe?"
She said while taking the cup on her hands and shaking it.
"Why? You need a demonstration?"
Asuro was about to cast his spell when RuoMin stopped him.
"Ah that's enough demonstration. The last tea tasting almost gave me a heart attack." RuoMin said while laughing sarcastically.
(A/N: Yup, the last tea tasting almost killed her via heart attack when Asuro commanded demons to take a human and taste the demon tea prepared for RuoMin.)
"Ah… It's fine father. I'm going to drink it now. Just few sips alright?"
"That's my good girl."
BeiYin closed her eyes as she felt the tip of the teacup touching her lips. She expected a foul flavor on the demon tea but yet…
She opened her eyes into a rich and sweet flavor that captivated her senses.
"This is a good tea, father." BeiYin sipped more from her cup.
"Didn't I tell you so… You take us demons as foul animals? We have class too. We make our own delicious tea." Asuro wasn't really pleased. In fact, he was a little angry about BeiYin's reaction earlier.
'She must've thought I've poisoned the tea.'
"Father. I need to discuss something with all of you."
BeiYin seated properly and put down the empty teacup gently on the table.
Asuro got her notion and also wanted to hear his daughter's proposal.
"Since we all wanted the same thing from the human realm, why don't we go back and find out the real truth? We already know that the one who banished you was named Wan MianSu but how could we confirm without having evidence?"
Asuro's excited face got serious as he heard the name of the one who pushed him into his doom. His countenance darkened as he slammed his hand on the table.
"Don't ever mention that sow's name. It sickens me just even hearing her gruesome name." He gritted his teeth in anger.
RuoMin released a short breath and clasped her palms together.
"Asuro, I know that you are angry now but look at the bright side. If we go to the human realm, we can find evidences against the perpetrator. Am I right BeiYin?"
RuoMin turned her head on BeiYin and nodded a few times.
BeiYin nodded her head in agreement and Asuro could not pose a fight against the consensus. Finally, Asuro agreed with their idea.
"Alright. I agree but once we got the evidence, we must do everything to uphold the justice."
After staying for long in the dark realm, Asuro and BeiYin came to a conclusion to visit the human realm and learn more about the sabotage of the elder high immortals that framed him.
When they had arrived at the outer palace of the Jade Phoenix's Kingdom, they were already been expected by his majesty Wei Yue, YingLuo, FeiXian and Gu XiNiang.
"Welcome to the Kingdom of the Jade Phoenix, great grandfather, Asuro."
"No need to be formal child. We both rule kingdoms."
"Alright. Let's get inside and talk after the feast, shall we?"
"Fine."

After the feast, Wei Yue led Asuro inside the secret hall. There, Gu XiNiang presented the corrupted treasure weapon of Emei. As XiNiang opened the chest, Asuro's eyes widened as he laid eyes on the weapon. He was brought to his knees seeing the weapon in such a state.
"This… How did it end up like this?"
Tears formed in the corners of Asuro's eyes.
"Few days ago, I learned that one of my sect disciples were originally an Emei disciple. She is Mo QiuAn. She carried the corrupted weapon with her. After my sect was ransacked by your disciple's puppet, I was branded as an incompetent leader making QiuAn assumed my position while I repent. But when I came back and learned about her dirty schemes about tainting the Shifting Flower Sect with old dark magic, she tried to kill me with that weapon."
"Where is Mo QiuAn now?"
"She's held prisoner at the Shifting Flower Sect's repentance hall."
"I'm going to interrogate her even if it means I'm going to coax her into talking about the truth."
"I won't allow that."
"Then try to stop me."
XiNiang saw Asuro as a threat and held out her hidden weapon. She then abruptly attacked Asuro with a Flower Goddess' Palm rendering him immobile.
For Asuro, the attack wasn't that efficient. He crossed his hands and broke free of the bonded petals on his body setting the petals on fire. XiNiang saw this and got even more agitated, she began throwing seeds which then sprouted into necrid thorn stems and wrapped themselves on Asuro.
Completely enclosed in the thorn stems, XiNiang proudly walked away but Asuro broke free once again setting the stems on fire.
Her eyes grew wide. Out of rage, she was about to release another attack when Wei Yue stopped both of them.
"Stop! Stop! Instead of working together and solving the same problem, why can't you two work together huh?" Wei Yue scratched his head in dismay.
"Your majesty Wei, this man was revived by blood. His puppet killed one of my faithful disciples. Because of him, WuTang was thrown down into that dark abyss and never to come up once again!" Wei Yue saw darkness in XiNiang's eyes. But he calmly dejected it and still stood in between them to stop their fighting.
"XiNiang, what's past is past. Asuro already know his mistakes and what he's doing now could help correct the mistakes that he had committed in the past."
XiNiang was hesitant on letting her guard down but eventually, she withdrawn her divine weapon and turned her back against Asuro.
"I'll let you interrogate Mo QiuAn. But if you do something shady once again, I'll personally end your life, Sixth Shura."
