Christmas Day, the city was brighter than usual. The cars are bustling as the traffic seems unending, the mall seemingly busy as hordes of people buying stuffs varying from cheap clothes to the more expensive Jewelries as a gift. Seeing the crowd, Gin could not help but sigh at this sight.

"Looks like I wont be able to enjoy Christmas this time... well, its not like I have someone in mind to celebrate it with..."

Gin did not have the time to leisurely talk to himself, seeing the crowd of people in the mall he knew how busy he would be today and might even need an overtime. He hurriedly entered the staff room to change into his uniform, when suddenly he felt a chill on his back.

Gin looked back and saw his Senior, a tall woman with a chestnut colored hair, with her tall and gorgeous appearance she could as well become a model. Yet this tall and gorgeous woman was looking at him with cold eyes.

Gin did not know what he had done this time... thinking over it again, he was only late for half an hour.... half an hour... Realizing it, Gin Greeted his senior politely. "uh, Good Morning Big sis Valestine. Merry Christmas to you, hehe..."

"B-big sis?!" Valestine was flustered because of the word Big sis. She hurriedly regained her composure and then staired daggers on Gin. "Enough of your jokes, do you think your words can justify you being late?"

Gin scratched his head awkwardly and tried to give a reason to his senior. "Well... It was bec-"

Gin hasn't even finished his sentence when something suddenly flew on his face. he picked it up and saw that it was his work uniform.

"Enough blabbering, being late is being late. But I will let it slide this time considering its Christmas. Now put on your uniform and go to work!" Valestine said as she opened the door preparing to leave.

Before she left the room, Valestine did not forgot to greet Gin back and said. "Oh yes, Merry Christmas to you too Gin. Meet me after work and I'll treat you for a dinner." As she smiled and finally left the room.

Gin was dumbfounded by his senior's unexpected words and actions, to be forgiven for being late for half an hour and he even got invited for a dinner...

But Gin was more shocked at his senior's smile at the end, She was so beautiful that He almost forgot to breath. "Damn... working here is totally worth it!"

As Gin was about to change, the earth suddenly shook and everything trembled. "Oh, good!. Now an earthquake in Christmas day, this must be divine punishment for seeing a Goddess smile..." Gin jokingly said.

He crouched and started to look for a cover, but he realized there are only lockers there. So he moved to the corner and waited for the earthquake to pass.

One minute, two minutes, three minutes and the earthquake still hasn't stopped yet and it seems to be only getting stronger every minute.

Everything is a mess at the room, Every lockers had already fallen, the lights flickering back and forth. Even debris started to fall from the ceiling and the walls started to shake.

Gin was sweating buckets and he was terrified at this strange earthquake. He inwardly thought 'If this keeps getting stronger by every minute passing, wouldnt it be the end of the world?'

Good thing that what Gin thought did not come true. twelve or fifteen minutes later, the earthquake finally stopped.

Gin finally heaved a sigh of relief, this earthquake was undoubtedly the strongest and longest one he had experienced. He muttered to himself "Isn't this Divine punishment too cruel? this earthquake is enough to destroy a whole city!"

If Gin was outside the mall, Who knows what might happen to him... He should be thankful that the mall was reinforced by cutting edge technology that could withstand Disasters.

"The earthquake this time was no joke... It even formed a crack on this reinforced walls." Gin mumbled as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva and thought about the buildings without this reinforcement and the people outside. "I should get out first and see what's happening."

Gin was about to leave the room when he suddenly realized that something was amiss, the debris that should had fallen is silently suspended midair and dusts seemingly frozen as if time was stopped... "What the hell?!"

Gin didn't even have a chance to be surprised when a voice suddenly sounded. It was a voice with no definite direction, as if it was everywhere yet not there.

"The Meeting of worlds is nigh, peace will be a legend of the past." The voice stated, leaving Gin dumbfounded.

A few seconds later, time that seemed frozen had finally started to continue. The sound of debris falling finally pulled him back from his dazed state.

"I should check things outside first..." Gin hesitantly opened the door and was relieved on what he saw next.
