Their first destination in Gujarat was the historic city of Ahmedabad. As they arrived, they were immediately struck by the city's vibrant atmosphere and its seamless blend of tradition and modernity. They visited the Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi had lived and led India's struggle for independence. Walking through the serene grounds, they felt inspired by the simplicity and power of Gandhi's teachings.
In Ahmedabad, they explored the Calico Museum of Textiles, which housed a remarkable collection of textiles from across India. The intricate designs and vibrant colors of the fabrics reflected the rich heritage of Gujarat's textile industry. They also visited the Adalaj Stepwell, an architectural marvel with its intricately carved walls and pillars, which provided a cool respite from the summer heat.
