Leaving behind the tranquil beauty of Wayanad, Aadhvik and Sara embarked on the next leg of their journey, guided by clues that pointed towards the serene backwaters of Alleppey. Travelling by bus through winding roads lined with coconut palms and rice paddies, they marvelled at the natural beauty that surrounded them.

Arriving in Alleppey, they were greeted by the rhythmic lapping of water against wooden houseboats and the gentle swaying of palm trees in the breeze. The air was thick with the scent of salt and spices, blending seamlessly with the chatter of fishermen preparing for their day on the water.

Eager to uncover more clues, Aadhvik and Sara befriended local fishermen who shared stories passed down through generations. They learned about the ancient trade routes that once crisscrossed the backwaters, carrying tales of distant lands and treasures lost to time.

During a stroll along the shores of Vembanad Lake, Sara stumbled upon a weathered artefact half-buried in the sand—a rusted medallion adorned with intricate engravings resembling those in the ancient manuscript.
