The Family

A year later...

Luke already can move around the house thanks to his training. His mother mental health also began to recover under his constant care. He usually hugged her and sometimes try to patting her head if he can when she raised him above her.

Because of that her feelings towards him also started to change to love. Not maternal love but love to someone. Yes his mother now saw him as a man and not son. He doesn't care about that as he also see his mother as a woman. (A/N: What?sometimes we can dream right?)

His problem in his mind is he doesn't have emotion. He can think but when he want to feel the feeling inside him it just disappear. Even when he began to felt annoyed it just lost like container that missing the bottom. He can't feel anything even the basics of emotions of happiness or sadness.

When he looks thoroughly he felt that his emotions was sucked by something that connected to his shadow. He felt that his shadow is containing 'something' and now incubating it. Maybe because of that his emotions disappear as it was used for incubating the 'thing' in his shadow.

But thanks to his problem that he became close to his sister. His sister, Lily thought that he was began following her emotionless face like she always do that it will bring bad habit so she became more talkative and open to make Luke change. As she continues does that, efforts efforts not only not have any effect but also bounced back to her as she the one became more energetic or back to her own personality according to his mother. His mother Lufia smiled when looking at the brother and sister who was playing together. She also try to crack down his emotionless face by giving more love and care.

In this year of training his result also quite satisfying....

According to their status his mother was very strong. But Luke is still puzzled by who or what that traumatized her and possibly Lily as well. He once heard Lufia talking to Lily when she playing with him.

"You finally smile and playing happily with your brother other than training. Fufu, stop obsessed with training and accept him as family. Your brother is not him. Yes, as long we show him the way he will never became like that bastard."

From her word alone he can deduct several information. First, his mother and sister are hated same person. Second, that guy probably his father. And third, his sister actually hate him but she actually kind hearted so after long time together she decided to open up for a bit. (A/N: Like other brother and sister relationship although you hate each other but deep down you also care about them.)

He was thinking of what his 'father' do that he was hated by them. Also from theirs reaction, they also rejected male like his mother never smile when in front of the men while his sister always beat up the kid in training with the stick that she was feared and awed among the kids especially boy since she was beat them harder. That can be shown why his sister title.

He was located at a new development village named crystal village. It was under management of newly appointed Barron Sarah de Crystal. She was the woman that help Lily on her labor. She also best friend of Lily as comrade in mision when they are adventure before his mother stopped and focusing into housewife work.

According to his mother Barron Sarah got rank up to an A-rank adventure lately and got attention from the king because of her achievements of defeating an orc general alone. An orc general usually need to defeated by B-rank party that leads by an A-rank adventure yet she can solos show how strong she is.

To show how appreciate the king is to tied her to the kingdom, he rewarded Barron Sarah with fertile land and huge sum of gold for her develop the land. When she prepares to go to her territory, she invited all her contact including Lufia and some people choose to follow her while others choose to stay.

The village now already have around 200 people in time of year and half in operation. Thanks to her strength that can keep the village safe, when other people heard the new some of the decided to migrate to the village. She now focusing to develop some troop and farming since their village is at the edges of the kingdom near the wilderness.

Thanks to his mother development of the soldier is smooth and ready to battle after about 10 months of training. Of course she wouldn't take advantage to her friends so she paid the potions at latest price on market. With the money she gained, Lufia built the house and can live comfortably with it. She only needs to send her potions 1 time per month and she only needs about 3-4 hours a day to make the potions.

He now reading a book as waiting his mother make some potions for today. He already doing exercises in the morning so now he want to rest a bit. Moreover his sister will come back for lunch so he also waiting for her.
