room and saw her still sleeping. He thought he might wake her up, and then she'd probably scold him for staying up late again, but he didn't want to disturb her so he kept his mouth shut and quietly walked away instead.

By the time classes rolled around that day, Victor still felt extremely guilty for everything that happened. He hated himself for not stopping the whole situation sooner. Even more than that, he hated Yuuri for being in such a sad state. But he knew there was nothing he could do to change it, and so he simply endured it, doing what he was told and trying his best not to think about his feelings. He tried to act normal around Yuuri and even managed to make small talk without sounding like he was whining. If only he hadn't lost his mind, then everything would be perfect. Things wouldn't be so painful.

As the week passed by, things became increasingly uncomfortable. Victor tried ignoring Yuuri whenever the older male spoke to him. Sometimes Yuuri came home from work early, but Victor was either too tired or too embarrassed to talk to him. Other times, he purposely avoided Yuuri and tried to focus on other things when Yuuri asked where he was. It wasn't long before he realized the issue. Whenever Victor tried avoiding Yuuri, everyone noticed. And that just served to confuse Victor further.

He was glad when the Saturday came along, when Victor could relax at his house, but unfortunately, it had just brought more problems. On top of that, Yurio was being extremely rude to Yuuri everytime he saw him, which caused Victor's anger to rise higher and higher each time it happened. However, Yuuri did nothing to stop Yurio, and instead, encouraged it. Every time Victor witnessed that, he felt his heart break a little more. All he wanted was for Yurio to accept Yuuri, and maybe it would help him feel better, but apparently he was too stubborn for that. So, Victor did what he did best and ignored it. It wasn't like he could really say anything to the younger skater anyways, so why bother?

So on Monday, Yuuri got up earlier than usual, hoping to catch Victor before he went to school, although it turned out that Victor had already left before the clock chimed 8:00 am. He sighed as he sat down in his chair and started doing his homework, trying to ignore the nagging feeling in the pit of his stomach.

He knew how jealous Victor was of Yurio. He'd seen it in his eyes over the weekend, when he had gotten home from the skate show. He understood what happened between Victor and Yurio. Of course he did. What he didn't know was why Yurio was being such a dick to him all the time. Maybe it was because he was still mad at Victor after what happened Friday. That would explain why he hadn't spoken to Yuuri yet and why he'd barely talked to anyone. But the most important thing was that he had no idea what he had done wrong. He was a good brother. He cared, he always had and still cares. Why wouldn't Yurio respect him for that and let him talk to him and ask him what was wrong?

Yuuri put his pen down after his third failed attempt to write something correctly and glanced around the room to check if there was anything interesting in there besides the books, his pencil case and some extra pens. There wasn't. He took his glasses off and set them on his desk before looking at the clock. 6 o'clock already. He could go to school now.

Yuuri stood up and stretched his arms above his head, before making his way downstairs to prepare himself breakfast and pack his bag. When he finished eating breakfast, he walked back upstairs, ready to go to class. Just as Yuuri was about to leave the building, he was surprised to find that Phichit was already in the building. He must'
