Zoro Versus Vice Admiral Onigumo Part 1

While Robin/Franky Versus Vice Admiral Strawberry's battle ended, the other two vice admirals' battle just got started.

Whoosh!

Zoro moved through the bridge and slashed his sword toward the Vice Admiral Onigumo. The vice admiral simply used his Observation Haki to dodge those attacks.

His utilization of Shave allowed him to move extraordinarily but it wasn't enough when he tried to sneak attack at Zoro.

His swords got blocked by Zoro who saw that coming with his Observation Haki.

When their swords collided, Zoro felt an intense power behind that attack.

"You must be a Zoan devil fruit user. I didn't think I would be fighting a Zoan devil fruit user who uses a sword." Zoro smiled.

[One Gorilla] [Two Gorillas]

Suddenly, his biceps began to bulge as he gathered an immense strength on his arm. He managed to push Onigumo away while preparing himself for another attack.

"I have nothing to talk with a pirate." Onigumo snorted and six hairy arms appeared behind him.

He quickly picked up six swords from his back and each hand held a sword as he prepared himself to kill Zoro.

He rushed toward Zoro and swung all of his swords at the same time. Each arm tried to attack Zoro from a different direction making it impossible to dodge.

[Three Sword Style]

Zoro slowly lowered his head upper body and began to spin.

[Dragon Twister]

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

His body moved so fast that he managed to block all eight swords with a single attack. The collision created a hurricane and several sparks of iron.

As soon as the attack died down, Onigumo and Zoro pulled themselves away from each other.

Zoro slapped his foot on the ground and jumped. His body began to rotate at mid-air as he slashed his swords toward Onigumo.

[Three Sword Style]

[360 Phoenix Slash]

Three different slashes burst out of his swords and merged, creating a spiral sword slash. It moved toward Onigumo.

Seeing this slash, Onigumo pulled all of his arms and used his swords to block the slash.

Clang!

The sword slash collided against his Haki-coated swords. Although it didn't break his swords, Onigumo was forced to retreat several meters away.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

When that sword slash broke into small pieces, they landed on his body and created several blood marks.

[Spider Sword Style]

[Flying Slash]

He moved all of his arms at the same time and slashed toward Zoro. His attacks created a similar effect as Zoro's but it was much bigger.

If Zoro's slash was similar to five swords combined, this slash was similar to twenty-five swords combined.

'Damn it! He is using numbers as an advantage. Normally, this would only tire him more. But, Zoan Users are supposed to have greater stamina than normal people.'

'So, he will be able to use this kind of attack several times. I need to find an effective way to destroy this attack.'

Zoro narrowed his eyes when he saw the attack. He was preparing his swords to block it but his brain was working to find a better way to solve this situation.

'Damn it! I have some ideas but none of them are swordsman's way. If I choose those methods, it would make no difference for me to choose a devil fruit.'

'If that's the case, then I will just push this fight. I won't fall until I win.'

He gathered his armament at his swords and charged forward.

He jumped and slashed against the massive sword slash.

[Three Sword Style- Tiger Hunt]

Bang!

His swords collided against that sword slash and managed to stop it in the middle. As he began to push it away, the sword slash began to crumble and small parks of sword slash fell on him.

These were similar to tiny sword slashes, leaving several wounds on his body.

'Argh! There are too many.'

Zoro roared and started spinning.

[Three Sword Style- Dragon Twister]

He created a massive tornado around him and destroyed all of those small sword slashes. Although he managed to break the attack, it took him two attacks and he still got injured.

"See? This is the difference between you and me. You can't win this battle, Roronoa."

Onigumo walked toward him with a cold look and spoke.

"Says a man who pretends to be a swordsman. I won't lose to a pretender." Zoro coldly spoke and covered his swords with Armament once again.

He dashed toward Onigumo and their swords collided several times. Each collision created the sparks of sword slashes.

Because of eight swords, Onigumo was able to land a few hits on Zoro while Zoro was left with blocking most of his swords with his three swords.

'No, this can't go on like this. I need to find a way to destroy his swords. Think Zoro think! What would Liam and Luffy do in this kind of situation?'

At this moment, Zoro suddenly remembered something that both his captain and vice-captain agreed on.

'If you can't find a way to win the battle, don't think of finding your enemy's weakness. Just improve your strength. Find a way to get stronger in the middle of a battle.'

Suddenly, a smirk appeared on his face as he clashed his swords once again and retreated several meters.

"Thanks for the reminder, Liam, Luffy! I know what I need to do."

Zoro's smirk slowly got replaced with a serious expression.

'Armament Haki! I need to improve my Armament Haki to win this battle. Find that feeling, flow Haki outside my body, and achieve the Internal Destruction.'

'I need to advance my Armament Haki in this battle.'

"I don't know what you are planning but nothing is going to save you from your eventual doom. Your captain and vice-captain can't win against admirals. Your crew will eventually fall."

Onigumo spoke with a cold voice.

"You are wrong. We will not fall here. Our journey has just begun and this is the moment where we will prove our strength to the world."

"My captain and vice-captain can already fight an admiral. I can't continue to lag behind anymore. It's time I learn to destroy you from the inside."

Zoro took a deep breath and concentrated on his Armament Haki.

"No matter what you try, you won't win." Onigumo also channeled his Haki and both of them rushed toward each other.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Several meters high in the sky, Luffy and Kizaru were colliding with their attacks. Kizaru had a light sword in his hand while Luffy was in his Fourth Gear.

"Argh! Slashes have always been my weakness. You bastard, why can't you use your fist?" Luffy screamed in pain and shouted at Kizaru who retreated several meters away from Luffy after landing a slash on him.

Kizaru's sweat dropped upon hearing his swords and said.

"You really are Mr. Garp's grandson. Even his stubbornness is reflected in you. But, I can't fight with my fist. I am after all trying to kill you."

"What?" Luffy looked shocked for a moment but suddenly realized.

"Oh yeah, you are a marine and I am a pirate. I forgot! Hahaha!"

At this moment, not only Kizaru but even those who were watching this battle fell on their faces. Fortunately for Kizaru, he was still in mid-air.

"That being said, I still can't use it. Man, if I keep spending my Haki like this, I will run out of it soon. Borsa Lulu, let's fight on the ground."

Luffy said and ran toward the ground. He quickly came out of his Fourth Gear and used Gear Second.

His Observation Haki instantly gave him the danger signal as he quickly dodged his body to the side and punched forward.

Kizaru managed to dodge the punch with his light speed but he landed several meters away from Luffy on the ground.

"It's really tiresome to fight someone like you. Why don't you continue using Gear Fourth so we can fight like normal?"

Kizaru said.

He knew fighting Luffy in Second Gear was tiresome. No matter how many times he tries to hit him, he always dodges his attack. Only large-scale attacks could damage him but there were limits to how many times he could attack.

"Then, why don't you wait for ten minutes so I can refill my Haki? We can continue fighting after that, Borsa Lulu." Luffy said while folding his arms in front of his chest.

"I really don't want to drag this fight any longer and I certainly hate you for giving me such a weird nickname." Kizaru rolled his eyes and raised his finger.

He shot a beam of light toward Luffy which he easily dodged but he followed it with a Light Speed Kick.

This was a combination that Luffy couldn't dodge that easily. He covered his arms with Armament to bear the impact of the attack but still was thrown into the ground.

He quickly got up and threw a punch.
