The Battle of Enies of Lobby

Enies Lobby,

"So, what's going on Straw Hat? Why are you defending all of a sudden?" A coy voice came from the sky as a man wearing a yellow stripe uniform spoke with a lewd expression on his face.

"Does it matter, Porsa Lulu?" Luffy replied as he adjusted his breath. But as soon as he relaxed, his Observation Haki got activated and he saw a future for a few seconds.

He quickly started moving around as a massive amount of laser bullets shot down from the sky. Each bullet was enough to make an explosion.

Wherever those bullets hit, the ground would crumble but most of them didn't manage to hit Luffy.

And, those who did were blocked by Luffy with Armament Haki.

Seeing Luffy going into defense all of a sudden, Kizaru frowned. With his speed, he could take advantage of Luffy's recklessness and inflict a lot of damage on him.

But now that he was on the defensive unless he did an attack directly, he wouldn't be able to take down Luffy that easily.

"You are making my job difficult, Straw Hat. But, do you know?"

Suddenly, his body turned into light as he ran several miles away into the sky. His body began to shine brightly as he moved toward Luffy from the high sky.

"Speed is Power"

He came at an extraordinary speed. Luffy was able to perceive him with his Observation Haki but still, that light was blinding his eyes.

[Gear Second]

He activated his gear second and his body suddenly moved to the side but the sharp toes had already touched his body.

[Light Speed Kick]

Bang!

Although it was just a simple touch, it had more than enough power to send Luffy flying. He crashed under the building of the Tower of Justice.

"Luffy!"

Robin shouted and tried to rush towards him.

But, Luffy quickly raised his hand and spoke.

"I'm fine, Robin. Don't worry about me. You have your own opponent."

Hearing his words, Robin's eyes flashed with surprise. She was pretty sure that Luffy wasn't listening when Liam told the plan.

So, it was hard to imagine that he would be able to say these words.

Actually, Luffy truly didn't remember Liam's plan. He just knew that his opponent was Kizaru and he needed to deal with him alone.

As for Robin, he doesn't know Liam's plan but he knows Liam's character. So, he believed that Liam had already stored an opponent for Robin.

"I understand, Captain!"

Robin shouted as she turned around. She stopped for a moment and turned back.

"Luffy, you must win."

Luffy was surprised at first. He stood up with excitement filling up his expression as he smashed his fist against his palm and said.

"Of course, I will."

"Straw Hat, Nico Robin, it seems like I can't let any of you go."

Kizaru turned into light and tried to appear in front of Robin with his light speed. But, he didn't notice a red light glinting in Luffy's eyes.

Luffy had already appeared in front of Kizaru as he kicked him in the chest. Kizaru blocked him with his leg as Luffy spoke.

"Porsa Lulu, I am your opponent."

When Robin heard that nickname, she had an urge to laugh but she controlled herself and ran away.

She knew staying here would only be a burden to Luffy. But as she was running, she clenched her fist and thought.

'Luffy, Liam, I will definitely get stronger. If I want to support your dreams like you did mine, I must get stronger.'

After that, she quickly caught up with Franky who was already standing in front of a vice admiral. This vice admiral was none other than Strawberry.

He was holding a sword in his hand as he spoke.

"So, are you two my opponents?"

He spoke as if he already knew Straw Hats' plan. Looking around him, that plan seemed to have worked.

Clang! Clang!

Four swords clashed against each other. Each clash created sparks of energy as it began to split the ground beneath them.

Zoro and Onigumo were holding two swords in their hands as they clashed against each other. Both weren't able to gain any upper hand against each other.

After a few retreats, Zoro took a stance holding two of his swords tightly in the sheathes. He took a deep breath while Onigumo also prepared himself for the attack.

Both of them infused their Armament Haki into their swords. Despite Zoro being able to awaken Haki just a few days ago, his Haki had grown significantly due to that medicine.

[Two Swords Style]

Zoro rushed forward. Seeing this, Onigumo snorted and rushed forward. Both of his swords slashed forward forming 'X' as a powerful sword energy gushed out of their swords.

Crack! Bang!

Zoro also unsheathed his swords at the same time, crushing the sword energy into pieces. His swords moved forward and slashed Onigumo on his chest.

But suddenly, an extra limb appeared behind him as he tried to hold Zoro with his extra limb.

Whoosh!

Zoro had activated his Observation Haki during all time so he noticed it and dodged it with ease. But, he didn't expect there to be more limbs.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

After each step he backed down, the extra limb would appear and try to smash him. After dodging all of them, Zoro took out his third sword and put it in his mouth.

"So, you are a devil fruit user. It seems like you are finally trying to go all out."

"Of course, in the name of Justice, I must bring you down at all costs." Onigumo coldly spoke as he took the swords from Marine Soldiers around him, leaving them completely defenseless.

Seeing this, Zoro narrowed his eyes and muttered.

"People like you, my vice-captain and captain hate the most."

"I will end your life here."

As he spoke, he infused his haki into his swords and prepared himself for the battle.

Bang! Bang!

On the other side, a flaming leg collided against a katana constantly.

Each strike caused a massive burst of fire and sword energy. In the midst of that flame was Sanji and his opponent was Momonga.

"How did you learn Marine Six Styles?" Momonga paused for a moment and asked with a deep voice.

His code of justice doesn't allow a pirate to use their skills.

"From my vice-captain, it wasn't that hard." Sanji replied.

"A pirate mustn't hold those skills. I must bring you down and put you inside the Prison."

Momonga's aura suddenly changed and became much more scarier. He clenched his fist on his Katana and the next moment, his speed burst out.

He instantly appeared in front of Sanji. But, Sanji was also prepared for it. Except for Usopp and Luffy, he was the most talented at Observation Haki.

He instantly perceived Momonga's attack and blocked it with his Haki-infused leg but he didn't expect Momonga to attack so heavily.

Bang!

His body flew back several meters and crashed to the ground.

Thud!

Zoro landed next to him and taunted.

"Hey shitty cook, are you down already? You should just focus on cooking and let me fight these two."

"Moss head, just focus on your enemy! I haven't used my full strength yet."

As soon as he said that, Sanji's body transformed into lightning and appeared behind Momonga.

"You must be familiar with this line. Speed is Power. Have you ever been kicked at the speed of lightning?"

Bang!

His lightning and khaki-infused kick smashed Momonga' on the back and slammed his body into the ground.

Even though Momonga was blocking his kick with his haki, he wasn't ready to bear the impact, causing him quite a lot of damage.

Suddenly, all four of them sensed a terrible chill as the ice began to form underneath their foot.

[Ice Age]

Suddenly, the entire half of the main island got covered in Ice.

In the middle, there was a young man frozen in ice but a few seconds later, the ice cracked and an almost frozen man came out of it.

His body was covered in thick haki but it still wasn't enough to make him immune to ice.

"Your ice powers are really terrible. If I hadn't used my Haki in advance, I would've been frozen to death. But, are you seriously going to use such a large-range attack here?"

Liam spoke while pointing his gaze towards those frozen marines. Of course, there were some frozen pirates as well but most of them were marines.

"I'm sorry. Seeing you use my mentor's attack again and again made me lose my cool. Can you hold on for a moment?"

Aokiji spoke with a calm tone.

Liam didn't refuse.

Aokiji took a deep breath and put his palm on the ground. The next moment, all that Ice was sucked right back into his body.

"Fortunately, I didn't use my Awakened Power. But, I am not sure if I can defeat you without using my Awakening."

Aokiji spoke as he stood up.

"I am not sure about that either. We just have to find out." Liam clenched his fist in front of his chest and infused them with Haki.

Then, his foot stomped on the ground several times in less than a second as his body disappeared and appeared above Aokiji.

As he clenched his fist and threw a punch toward him, Liam looked into Aokiji's eyes who prepared three ice spears for him and asked.

"In the future, if you were given a chance to become an independent marine, would you choose it?"
