It was an Accident!

Vermilion bird walked thoughtfully through the forest. She didnt know what to say to Jimin when she saw him. It had already been about 2 weeks since the incident. Vermilion bird looked down at the box of sweets.

Will he accept these? Oh what am i doing cried Vermilion bird. Why do i feel so uneasy? She thought about that day and Jimins face flashed across her mind. Her body became hot and her cheeks turned bright red and she felt a pain in her chest. She quickly regained her senses and realized she was already at Jimins cottage.

Vermilion bird saw Jimin from a distance. He had no shirt on and was drpping with sweat he was training with a bamboo stick on some mannequins. The sight made Vermilion bird blush when suddenly saw it a huge gash across Jimins back.

He was injured that serious becouse of me she thought. She replayed the scene again he was comforting her while he was in pain and her heart ached. She took a step back wondering if she should have even come. What should i do? She had never experienced these feelings before and didn't know how to handle herself.

As she was crouched behind the bush murmuring to herself she didn't notice a familiar figure standing behind her.

She suddenly heard a deep voice from behind her ask. What on earth are u doing child? Vermilion bird turned around and looked up to see Grandfather Yang staring at her with furrowed brows. He saw the beautiful box with the pretty ribbon and could guess what was going on.

This is not proper behavior for a young lady hiding in bushes and spying on people is it? he asked her with a much more relaxed tone.

Vermilion bird shook her head. She didnt have that arrogance for some reason grandfather Yang made her feel like a child being scolded she didnt dare be rude.

Is Jimin okay? she asked not daring to look up. Yes thankfully i found him in time or else he could have died. What? Vermillion bird looked up shocked! Grandfather Yang looked at her surprised and serious face and he realized she wasent aware of how serious it was.

Little girl i found Jimin unconscious bleeding profusely from a gash on his back he was in a coma with a fever for 4 days when he finally woke up you were the first thing he asked about.

Vermillion bird couldn't believe it! She began to tremble and her eyes became red as she held back her emotions. Her hands began to shake as she held the box tightly. Grandfather Yang could see she was worried and upset so he dismissed the idea that this little girl had bad intentions towards his grandson.

He will be fine he said trying to comfort her. He will be happy to see you. Take it easy on him he should be resting even though he sez he is ok he is still healing. I must go take care of some buisness and will be back in a few days. Can i trust you to look after him asked Grandfather Yang with a slight smile.

Vermillion bird finally looked up with a guilty and surprised expression on her face. Im afraid i may cause him more trouble i should stay away she said. Grandfather Yang scoffed answer me this he said Did you intentionally hurt him? Were you trying to kill him? Are planning on attacking him?

Vermilion bird looked up taken aback by his questions. No she cried i never ment to hurt him and i would never intentionally hurt him it was truly an accident and i am sorry! Grandfather Yang smiled then there is no problem. Besides i have a feeling you are just the remedy the doctor ordered. Grandfather Yang waved as he walked away i will see you in a few days i trust my grandson will be in good hands.
