Ch07 Secrets and Lies 2
Sounds of laughter filled the air, the air felt stuffy and the smell of sweat made the room almost unbearable to breathe in. She couldn't see clearly even after opening her eyes and something felt strange on her head.
"Hey! Are you awake?" A familiar voice asked in low tone trying to avoid being heard.
She groaned and her head felt like it was spinning. The last thing she remembered was having an argument with a biker and struggling with a man.
"The other one's awake, inform boss" One of the men who had noticed her movements instructed as the others dropped their cards on the table
"Aiish! Right when I was about to win" A scarred man replied exiting the room. A few moments later, Mr. Arnold, the middle aged man walked into the room they were tied up in and ordered someone to remove the bags over their heads. He went close to Hano and smirked
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Miss. Hano. Although I didn't expect us to meet in a condition like this."
"Who are you? If my husband gets you, you'd regret it" She said trying to untie her hands
"Come now Ms. Hano, we shouldn't be so hasty to pick sides. I can tell you don't remember why you're like this?" He asked as the young lady entered the room.
"Papa bear! I've missed you!" She screamed hugging him ignoring the other people in the room.
"Boo bear please greet the legendary Miss. Hanora. Untie her she is my guest after all" He said smiling with the corner of his mouth.
"This is no way you treat a guest" Hano replied allowing the scarred man to untie her
"Untie my friend too" She demanded
"Oh, she's safe just take a walk with me and I promise to tell you everything" He replied walking out of the room
"Don't listen to anything he says Hano! He's dangerous" The biker screamed desperately as she got kicked in the stomach
"I don't think I can be as dangerous as the man posing to be her husband and keeping her in the dark" He replied and it made Hano think about how Rey had been avoiding her questions. She ended up following the man and his spoilt daughter for a walk in the veranda.
"Tell me everything!" Hano demanded getting impatient after they had been walking for a while.
"This is interesting. I don't even know where to start from." He replied her calmly laughing.
"She has amnesia?" His daughter asked looking surprised.
"I think that's what it is. The Lionhead in all of Asia seems to have forgotten who she is." He replied indirectly telling Hano
"Lionhead? What's a Lionhead?"
"The Mafia mistress in all of Asia. Or the fact that you're the Italian snakehead in London? Oh and an Italian-London snakehead is the overseer of illegal immigration channels for Italian immigrants trying to go to London." He paused then looked back at Hano who was surprised
"That's a load of bullshit! " She shouted fighting hard not to believe the man.
"Oh, haven't you heard the news?" He asked showing her a site from his tablet.
**Miss. Hanora of B-tech goes missing after killing spree at Thailand national depot** She read in her mind
"B-tech?" She asked puzzled
"Of course the public shouldn't have some information. B-tech is one of the biggest tech companies in the whole of China and for a while now you've been on the edge due to your strongest competitors"
"Russel" She completed remembering it was Rey's company name
"Bingo!" He grinned
"He's taking advantage of your current state and why do you think he does that? Of course for your title in the Mafia business."
"Then, if I'm so powerful, don't you also want my title?" She asked starting to doubt the man
"Hmph! My daddy never does things in a dirty and unfair way." His daughter replied instead
"Miss. Hanora, the first thing to do now is get rid of Rey. He's the only one in your way. No one dares to stop you and I'm assuming he already took you to his sacred place, The Mansion." He added
"The Mansion?" She asked herself recalling what the old keeper told her earlier that day.
"Go back to the Mansion and destroy that bastard. Only then would you be in full control. I'll be flying to Germany soon but if your men aren't enough I'm willing to give you all my men." He completed tapping her shoulder and leaving her behind.
"Should we put a tail on her?" Arnolds' daughter asked unsure of what her dad was planning
"No, she's in a mess now. That feeling you get after trusting the wrong person. They both are going to get bloody we'll just watch and strike when they've let their guards down" He replied now disappearing for Hano's sight

"What did he say?" The biker replied after they finally released her
"Hey, what's your name?" Hano asked empty minded as they walked down the country road
"Vi. When will you recover your memories?" Vi asked feeling worried
She felt uneasy thinking about what that man had told her. She felt dizzy and had a slight headache then suddenly images flashed through her head. She gripped her head and groaned in pain
'Hey are you okay?" Vi asked supporting her. She started hearing familiar voices in her head and she saw some blurry images too
"Kill him"
"Drop your guns and surrender yourself"
"Hanora!"
The gunshot sounded really loud in her head and the figure she saw was a man who slightly resembled Rey.
"Arrgh!" She screamed opening her teared filled eyes. Her eyes were red and she was shaking with fear.
"I remember everything"
