Victor (POV)

Ah. I don't want to but I was forced to attend the dinner in Charles mansion with him. It was good to visit others mansion and have tasty foods though. Today I have no other way to avoid talking to Charles and his family. Last time itself I messed up with greetings and this time I should try not to be rude to them. I am wrong in everything when I started to avoid having a talk with other girls due to all the marriage proposals. I should have tried to have atleast a normal conversation with others but because of my silent life and avoiding conversation with others for all these made me look like a shy person. Now I can't even have a proper conversation fearing I will be rude to them. Fear of everything I avoided everything. I was afraid of falling in love, I was afraid of death, I am afraid of trusting others other than William, I am afraid of being used by others, I was afraid of everything. Later the fear turned me into something I am not.

Now I am trying to restart from the beginning. I entered the Charles mansion looked at them with a smile and greetings. I said to them "Thank you for inviting us to the dinner, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Mary. I also for being rude last time. I never had proper speech with anyone other than William and Meng family. So, again please forgive me for my rude behaviour".

Charles who not expected this were surprised, but the most surprised person was William. William seeing this had a small smile and a little tear in his eyes but hide it well.

Charles replied, "It is okay it not easy to have a normal conversation with a person you just meet. We never saw that as rude behaviour, it was the only the character of a shy child. So, don't worry about that".

Victor in his heart "Child! Me? Anyway, forgot about that".

Mary who was behind Charles "Dear let them come inside they are standing in there for some time. It is also rude to do so to the guests of our family."

Charles replied "yes, I even forgot about that. Come inside first my guests"

William and Victor with a smile went inside the mansion. Dinner was filled with laughter and smile. That was the day Victor felt happiness and feeling of the family after a long time.

After dinner, William and Charles had a small conversation, while Mrs Mary asked some questions about me regarding my health and daily life. I replied well and had a good talk. Mrs. Mary introduced her daughters Rose and Anna. This time I introduced myself properly and also had a good conversation with them. I also found that Rose seems to be a shy type, while Anna speaks a lot."

After some time it was time to leave so and William was entering our carriages, I saw a group of people hiding in the agricultural field. I already know about hostility towards Charles and the reason for coming her through shadows. William who noticed that asked Charles "Do workers still have work in the agricultural field during the night?"

Charles who heard this said "No, they don't. They should have left around 5.30 pm."

William understood looking at Victor. Victor said "Mr Charles I think you have an uninvited guest. Did you offend anyone recently?"

Charles was shocked and said, "yes, I had a problem recently regarding the textile company with Thomas who seems to hatred toward me."

Rose and her daughters who found something wrong in our conversation were also worried about the intruders.

Victor nodded and said, "Then, William shouldn't the guest should be treated well."

William smiled and said to his subordinates "Capture one person and bring him. For others just kill them and leave no evidence in the scene."

Charles and his family who heard William speech were speechless. "It is okay to say kill others without even thinking about it." But they didn't say anything because William is already helping them how can they ask for more.

William's subordinate just disappeared like a shadow, surprising Charles family. They heard the sound of gunshots but after a minute it was totally silent.

William turned towards Charles and said "As a friend, I am saying this. In this world there are things you haven't seen and heard are there. For example, monsters, mutants, werewolves are living among human society. Someone you have offended seems to be from a vampire family. So, be careful in every step. If we are not here your and your family death is inevitable. Vampires are known for their blood lusty character. They will kill without mercy. I know it will be a huge surprise for you but you have to accept it for your family safety."

William's subordinate brought one vampire but he seems to be loyal to not speak anything about his employer.

Victor who got enough just went ahead and killed the captured vampire. Then said arise to make the soul his soldier. He asked the shadow regarding the reason for attack and explained it to others.

Victor – "These vampires are sent by the one you mentioned earlier Thomas, he is also a vampire and these vampires are his subordinates. He had done this type of things lot of times. He seems to be thought of greatest opponent in his business. That why he warned you earlier but decided to kill your family later."

Charles and his family members are surprised by the Victors ability to speak with souls.

William said "As you can see me and Victors are pure breed vampires and Victor have this ability to talk with souls. We older than what you think. My reason for exposing this thing because you are friend and business partner. So, I am saying it for mutual understanding and trust. You can ask for help from us anytime. Even Meng Tian is a former emperor of Meng country."

Charles finally adapted to it and said "It okay I trust you even if you are a monster. But what will we do if the person who commanded them will find out?"

Victor said "Don't worry, they would be dead soon."

Charles was confused. But William smiled and said "Okay, we will stay in your mansion for assurance."

Hearing this Charles was happy. While Victor commanded to his shadows to get all the information about the vampire living in the radius of 2000 kilometers. He also sends soldiers to kill the Thomas and his group of vampires. While getting his signature for selling his company to Trident company. The millions of shadows moved towards all directions.
