The Letter

Touma woke up and started to think about the things his father told him. He starts to tear up, it was really taxing for a 6 year old to take in. While he was doing that. The bathroom door opens and Minato and Kushina comes out.

Kushina: "I'm sorry we took so long to come out Touma, hey why are you crying dattebayo?" Kushina looks at Touma with concern.

Minato: "I told you we should've finished earli- ahhhhh!" before he can finish his words Kushina proceeds to pinch his sides while glaring at him. Minato groans with pain and proceeds to look away, not bothering to try and continue what he was going to say.

Kushina: "What happened Touma?" Kushina asked again with concerned eyes.

Touma: " I saw daddy in the scroll, he talked to me and hugged me." Touma remarks with a sad face.

Kushina and Minato were confused on how he was able to meet Fuji, so Touma proceeds to tell them what happened during the opening of the scroll. They both laughed when he told them about how he thought his father was a ghost and he ran away from him. He told them everything that Fuji asked him to do and he took out the letter in the scroll to give it to them.

They opened the letter and proceeds to read it.

I am Uzumaki Fuji, I wrote this letter as I will be trying something stupid on my experiments later tonight. After escaping from the Uzumaki massacre I spent the remaining half of my life trying to find the absolute limits of the human body. When I found out how to reach it, which is by releasing the chakra gates, I realized it brings enormous repercussions to the body. So I spent a lot of time developing some techniques to counter them, and I succeeded. With the use of Dark Chakra and my Body Revival Technique, I was able to open the body's limits without the horrible side effects e.g death.

Although I succeeded it was a little too late as my body revival technique was developed at a later time and it couldn't undo the damage the long term damage the gates and the dark chakra has done to my body. I thought it was the end and my life's work has reached it's limits. but then my wife, Mina(whom I also taught the concept of dark chakra) managed to give birth to a son after long years of waiting. Sadly my wife died conceiving him. I was shocked by what happened. My wife had enormous life essence as she was an Uzumaki, so how did it happen? I spent a few days examining my wife's remains and it lead me to the conjunction that it was due to my son.

It was Touma. Due to me and my wife's frequent interaction with dark chakra, my son developed a bloodline that has adapted to dark chakra. Every single cell in his body has integrated with dark chakra. It also seems he is able to automatically convert normal chakra to dark chakra. I tested his body with it and surprisingly he was immune to the negative side effects of it. I was ecstatic! My son has the potential to see through the peak of my work. I spent my remaining life trying to get him ready for it.

While growing up I spent time trying to improve his chakra control. To my surprise coupled with an enormous chakra reserve he was also blessed with monstrous chakra control. Seriously this kid is so lucky. When he was 4 years old, I finally saw the negative side of his bloodline limit. I tested his elemental affinity and it turned out to be null. I thought the paper wasn't simply working but nope, no affinities at all. I managed to figure out the reason, and it was due to the dark chakra affecting his body most of his chakra is being converted to dark chakra. He had to work harder to convert chakra to elements. The brighter side of it is he has an easier time connecting with Yin and Yang which makes it easier for him to you use it for sealing and healing.

Whoever his guardian is now, please take care of him. I will be leaving him some of my notes to help him get stronger and reach the peak of my life's work. But strength alone will not be enough as he is still just a child and he will need guidance. Guidance to stir him to the right path. Although the power he wields stems from darkness I want him to use it to assist in bringing forth the light. Please tell him to focus on improving his body, along with medicine and seals. Minato and Kushina finished reading the letter and looked at each other with confused faces.

Kushina: "I guess this answers how Aunt Mina died, but Minato we must keep this a secret between the both of us."

Minato: " Yes, We should only tell hokage. The village has a dark side that may try to harm Touma, specially with Danzo and the root. We must protect little Touma from them."

They both smile at Touma who was looking at them with a confused face.
