Twin Sword Brooch
Shao was taken back by his twin sister's words. None of what she said was wrong. He can't help but feel ashamed of himself. Acting almighty and all yet depends on a person he considered trash just so he can continue to live. He then gave out a long sigh.
"Haiii! How stupid of me! It's just that things are so frustrating right now. We are still trapped in this realm. And the only person who can help us out has no idea or whatsoever of our existence. I am really missing our mother and father. I am also worried of our younger brother. I feel so helpless. What if the enemies started to work on their plans? Remember the peace agreement only lasts for 3 yrs! And we've been staying in this realm for 2 yrs now!"
Shao can't help but let all his emotions out. For a 15 year old lad like him who woke up in an unknown land with no means of using his powers, contacting his parents, it was just normal to feel frustrated and helpless, right?
Even if he came through this strange land with his twin sister Shylala, she was also powerless just like him. On top of that they do not possess physical bodies! Before devouring Jing Ying's spirit energy, the siblings were merely a twin sword brooch. Luckily, Jing Ying grow fond of the brooch and would love to wear it most of the time. Because of Ying's fondness to the twin sword brooch, the siblings were able to feed on her spirit energy. They were also able to get out of the brooch and somehow form an astral vessel.
The eavesdropping Yizhi cannot help but feel sorry for the twins. Then, she started feeling sorry herself too. Just like them, she also transcended into this realm. Moreover, she had just arrived. She was still in a state of shock and it was already a miracle that she can still take hold of the entire situation with her sanity intact.
'Me and these two are actually in the same boat. I will do my best to take control of the situation. Afterwards I will do whatever I can to help them return home.' Yizhi started laying out her plans when suddenly the door of the room swung open.
"Yun Fei! Please check my beloved daughter's condition. I cannot take seeing her like this anymore."
Jing Xi rushed swiftly to the physician as she pleaded with teary eyes.
"Don't worry Madam Jing, everything will be alright." Yun Fei smiled after saying these comforting words to Jing Xi.
The doctor then moved to check Ying's pulse. He then looked surprised. Under Jing Xi and Mei Fang's careful gaze, the doctor wasn't able to hide his facial reaction.
"What's the matter Doctor Yun? Why do you look surprised? How's my youngest niece's condition?" Mei Fang took the initiative to frankly ask the young doctor.
"cough... cough... "
Yun Fei cleared his throat first before looking into Mei Fang's beautiful pair of eyes and answered her questions.
"Miss Mei Fang, there is nothing to worry about. Miss Ying's body is in its perfect condition. I was just surprised by the fact that her pulse is stronger now. It seems like the she already recovered some of the power she lost." Doctor Yun said while smiling at Mei Fang.
After seeing how the doctor Yun Fei smiled at her, Mei Fang rolled her eyes and stared at her niece instead. Only Yun Fei noticed this.
Jing Zhao cannot help but feel happy and excited for his little sister. He rushed beside Ying and gently grabbed her soft hands. He then chuckled out of amusement.
"Great Mother, Little Ying's meridian points are also healed now! She can start cultivating again!" Jing Zhao was so happy that his eyes started to reddened as if he was about to cry tears of joy.
Madam Jing who was feeling anxious and worried moments ago was now wearing a radiant smile making her face look more attractive.
An air of surprise and excitement enveloped the entire room. This was indeed a good news! Not only that Jing Ying's body condition got better, she also got her powers back.
"It looks like the previous condition of the Miss Ying's body was due to exhaustion. It seems like she was expelling her physical and spiritual energy non-stop."
Upon hearing those words from the physician, the invisible twins Shao and Shylala felt guilty. They were the culprits after all.
"I have brought three energy elixirs that will hasten up Miss Ying's recovery. Have her drink the entire content of the elixir before she goes to sleep. " Yun Fei said as he handed the elixirs to Jing Zhao.
"Thank you Dr. Yun! Our Jing family is truly grateful to you. " Jing Zhao sincerely thanked the young doctor and lowered his head to show respect.
"I will prepare a feast to celebrate Ying's recovery as well as show our family's gratitude to Doctor Yun Fei. "
Madam Jing said happily as she went out of the room and rushed to the Manor's kitchen to manage the food preparation.
"I will inform the other family members of this happy event as well. I will now excuse myself. " After saying these words Jing Zhao teleported to Chu En Academy.
"Since everything is okay now I might as well take my leave. " Yun Fei said in a polite manner but avoiding Mei Fang's eyes.
"Oh, didn't you hear what my sister said? She would prepare a feast as a thanks to you. It will break her heart if you suddenly wanted to leave. Where are your manners? " Mei Fang's answered in a cold demeanor.
'Err why did things suddenly feel awkward? It seems like these two remaining people in my room have something in the past? Err can you please continue being awkward outside? A patient is trying to rest here.' Yingzhi silently protested in her head.
"Anyway if you wish to leave feel free to do so, no one will stop you."
Upon saying those words Mei Fang disappeared from the room.
The room is quiet now but Doctor Yun Fei is still inside so Yizhi can't still drop her act.
"Why is it so hard to deal with your second aunt Little Ying? Why is she treating me harshly whenever it's only the two of us? "
'The heck! How would I know?! I just arrived in this world duh! Why don't you ask her those questions? Are you really a genius?' Yizhi cannot help but answer Doctor Yun Fei silently in her head.
