Chapter 6: Dead or Alive?

The deafening sounds of uncountable police vehicles and the police mobile overlapped with the chit-chatting of the crowd that gathered as a flock of birds, hungry from the latest news which awakened the entire town at rest.

"Dead or alive?", That is the multi-million dollar question which can penultimately change the lives of people involved.

Well, to answer that question, I have a good news and bad news.

Bad news is that, the pregnant lady is dead.

Good news is that, she is not Juana's mother.

But wait, where is she really is?

Zero rushed fastly in the car and runned it so swift, so swift that it created friction which suddenly opened an invisible tunnel which closed when they passed through it.

"What are these? I haven't seen these happening before!" , Zero exclaimed being confused as it saw glimpses of what seemingly happened after they entered the tunnel.

The time and date of his phone fast forwarded to April 19, 2022 wherein Juana's mother will give birth to her baby, which Zero suspects is Juana's reincarnation.

When being able to go outside the tunnel, Zero found itself with its car outside the house Juana's family. It tried to knock but before being able to, it was transported to another body which is luckily the body of a doctor in Remoir City Hospital, the hospital where Juana's mother was rushed.

Zero made sure it is the right hospital and questioned the staff in the lobby for the room where Juana's mother is in.

"She is in Room 253 A, Doctor Johnson. Do you want to go for a lunch later, doctor?", answered by the nurse with a flirtatious side question.

"I will come to think of it. I will need to go for now... Uhm, bye?", sweat poured outwards Zero's current body as if the consciousness of that person felt and heard what the nurse said, making Zero's every single little step harder as its heartbeat goes faster and faster.

It tried to go to the elevator but it is out of order and in maintenance. Alternatively, it climbed the stairs. Lucky it, it was only on the second floor.

It hurriedly ran to the room 253rd with a letter "A" in its door and saw that the baby was already born.

"I need to make sure it is Juana's line of succession that I am looking for.", Zero did wait for the sign of reincarnation it knew. As far as it remember, Juana's soul is glowing in rainbow translucent hue of rays before it is casted away by the white pole of light.

After a few seconds, when the baby opened its eyes, alas! A rainbow hued ray did struck the baby over her chest.

"At last, I know it is really her.", Zero sighed in relief.

The silence of the facility was broken when the alarm rang in the neuroscience ward as a patient escaped from its room. It stole the security guard's gone and did a frenzy of gunshots.

"RUN! SAVE YOUR DAUGHTER!", Zero commanded Juana's mother.

A bullet was about to hit the baby when Zero made it's body as a shield.

Zero's body lied bloodily on the hospital's cold floor.

"Wait, I feel different. Why can I remember some memories? Why do I know this person's name and such? Does this mean, waittttt! How did this happen?"
