Goodbye Lime

As everyone recovered from Sen's 'abandonment' they started the trek once again.

Vincent was no different as he joined them. He internally scoffed at Sen, what was happening to him? Vincent held his head, he felt himself feeling more sadistic every second, was he being attacked? No.

Vincent needed to suppress his desire to see other's pain, else he might accidently hurt Jack or Iris. He couldn't do that. No matter what.

"Doing okay?" Kane asked concerned for Vincent.

"Just dandy," Vincent told her as he walked in forward with the map.

"We'll be at the camp in an hour," Vincent told the rest, everyone sighed in relief. They didn't want to be out here any longer.

Vincent nodded seeing their satisfaction. But Lime had caught onto something, she had a troubled past like Vincent and like him gained the 'ability' to know when something was wrong. This saved both of them a ton of beatings. Lime had seen the remnants of some sort of battle? No, not a battle but a... assassination.

Damn, there was a traitor in this group. Lime quickly eliminated it to being Vincent, Kane was smart she wouldn't kill a possible ally. Amy had a fiery temper and was an assassin, but she was hired by Sen to protect him, didn't help that he was dead now. Heinze was dead. It could have only been Vincent, especially with the fact that he was the only one awake during that time.

Crap.

Lime kept a good eye on Vincent. Soon enough they were almost back. Everyone needed to cross this large bridge. In order it was Amy, Kane, Vincent, and then Lime. Lime felt comfortable being behind him, so that if he attacked she could counterattack.

But she still felt off...

Shredder had been hidden underneath the bridge the moment Vincent suspected Lime for knowing he killed Sen. Better safe than sorry after all. Shredder cut the ropes as everyone fell. Amy was quick and Kane was close enough but Vincent and Lime were too slow. The two fell as Vincent threw Lime a rope. Lime caught the rope as Vincent was being held by Blob. Lime felt Vincent glare at her. Amy and Kane couldn't see the two because of the dust which happened because Shredder cut some rocks into powder.

"Do you know what happened to Sen?" Vincent asked calmly.

"I-" Lime narrowed her eyes.

"I'm guessing you do..." Vincent sighed audibly.

"Too bad honestly, you seemed like a chill person," Vincent grabbed a pocket knife as he brought it to the rope.

"Come on! We can talk about this-" Lime was cut off.

She fell.

Blob brought Vincent back up as Vincent watched Lime fall into the unknown, if she came back he'd finish the job. Vincent walked towards the exit as Amy and Kane were there.

"Where's Lime?" Kane asked worried.

"... she fell," Vincent looked at her.

Kane gasped as she clutched her hand.

"I'm sorry," Vincent told them 'sincerely'.

But inside his heart was festering a callous monster, a psychopathic killer, an empty criminal.

He was growing more and more evil.

Vincent snapped himself out of his thoughts. What was happening?

He needed to stop thinking those thoughts.

Everyone was in a depressing mood as they ventured back to camp. But someone in particle was cursing Vincent. Lime was alive still.

She had fortunately landed in some sort of goo, a slime monster attacked however. But Lime killed it easily. With a new determination she wanted revenge.

The bridge they had crossed was over a large raven, and the raven had three ways back to the surface.

"DIE!" Lime struck against another slime monster called an Oozk.

Lime teleported behind another and killed it. She was growing tired and the injuries she had didn't help much either. She needed to escape now, else she would die. Seeing light from down of one of the tunnels she ran and teleported herself. Her teleportation powers could only teleport a meter onto solid ground, but it helped a lot. As she ran out into the open sunlight she felt free, but she needed to kill Vincent first.

Meanwhile Shredder had been following her journey, he alerted Vincent.

"Finally! We're back," Kane tried to keep the optimistic mood alive, didn't work.

Amy nodded as Vincent looked back, "That was most certainly, not fun."

The three went different ways as Kane explained what had happen, Amy left since she failed her contract, and Vincent went to use the 'bathroom'.

Lime ran and ran as she knew she was getting closer back. Suddenly something cut both her legs forcing her to crawl. Lime groaned as she saw a familiar person walk up to her. Vincent.

"..." Lime looked him in the eyes as she supported herself on a tree.

"You're not going to let me go, are you?" Lime asked fearlessly.

"Yes," Vincent agreed.

"Tch," Lime clicked her tongue as Vincent approached her.

"Honestly it is quite the pity," Vincent stroked some of her green hair off her face.

"I somewhat liked you," Vincent brought his face closer and put his hand on her cheek.

"Too bad you just had to ruin it," Vincent painted a tree red with his plasma pistol he took from the invasion.

"Goodnight Lime."

Meanwhile with Jack.

"Woah," Jack had been split off from Iris and Nexus but he landed himself in a beautiful cave full of vibrant gems. But it was littered with gem bugs.

Jack raised his hands to scorch them to death, but something or someone stopped him.

"Please, don't fire," A large gem bug the size of Jack appeared. It had a gems inserted to it as a form of armor and protection, "I'm the Gem Queen, and I need your help."

"What type of help?" Jack asked curiously.

"A fierce monster appeared in our caverns, we need your help to exterminate it!" The Gem Queen pleaded.

"... alright!" Jack thought for a while agreed.

The Gem Queen smiled in response, "This way."
