Cleansing the Kingdom.

In the Divine realm that sat above the two lower realms, Are two figures standing with a spirit floating in front of them.

A voice spoke that identified one figure as a female.

"Little Revalor, We have brought you here to tell you that actions in your previous lives have impressed us. This is due to your habit of staying loyal to people even when it costs you your life, This is a rare trait even among the other realms."

The other figure spoke in a voice neither male nor female.

"Revalor you are in the Divine Realm, Do not worry you are not dead we have simply brought you here to tell you we appreciate your actions in your past lives and that I've decided to give your friend Lotus a gift as compensation for her earthly creators mistake."

The figure paused before continuing.

"One of my offspring has helped you fix a problem in your soul, One soul cannot house two minds even if the other is an artificial mind. To fix this he tore a fragment from your soul, Melded it to the one you call Lotus and in the process gave her a foundation to build her own soul on while also fixing your problem of having two minds inhabiting one soul. The only downside is that in the future you will have to find or create a vessel for Lotus to inhabit as her soul will eventually grow to be too big for a single body to store."

The female figure spoke after the figure with the non-binary voice finished speaking.

"I have given your friend a bonus gift, Hopefully the next time we see each other it is in flesh and blood. Good luck in your future endeavors little Revalor."

As I felt myself being whisked away I heard the non-binary figure speak again.

"Although I know he had much to do with your current situation, My offspring had no bad intentions and was simply doing his duty decreed by the contract. He has been sabotaged leading to his ignorance about what the reaction of the elves would be to his decree. If you have it in you to forgive him, Please do."

Back in the Elven Tree's Courtyard.

"REVALOR!!!"

As they heard this heart-wrenching cry the group of four high elf nobles stood in shock for a few moments while trying to process what they were seeing.

After processing what was going on the four nobles took off seemingly teleporting and arriving at the side of the three remaining elves in seconds while leaving the battalion behind, Once they arrived they heard sobbing.

Viessa was laying on the immature chest of Revalor while sobbing, Ayla laid right next to them completely battered and passed out. She has numerous gashes and stabs covering her body, Her armor is torn apart and her arms are badly disfigured from what looks like burn wounds.

"Revalor! My son! Don't worry mom is here, I won't let you die on me not after your soul has healed and I have finally met your personality!"

Syvis immediately went to healing her son after saying this, Trying her best to heal the wound that tore through her sons fragile body. She was the only one in the Kingdom's nobility that had a healing type energy as they were very rare.

After starting her treatment which consisted of channeling her light energy and surrounding the body of her son. As she covered his body she noticed something odd about the wound of her son, There are particles of light energy that have gathered in the wound of Revalor.

Once Syvis noticed this she spoke.

"Revalor has been injured by a light energy technique! I swear to the Elven Tree, If it was my Kingdom's nobility that did this I will stop at nothing until the ones responsible are eradicated."

Syvis spoke in a voice laced with killing intent while golden lightning crackled in the air around her.

As she continued tending to Revalor, Erland and Imryll were trying to calm down Viessa to get some information about what happened here.

"Viessa, Revalor will be fine Syvis is the finest healer in the Kingdom so there is nothing to worry about."

Imryll spoke trying to console her daughter that was still sobbing every once-in-a-while.

"What about bodyguard Folen and all the big brothers that are hurt who will help them?"

Viessa choked out a question in-between sobs.

"Folen and the other big brothers that protected you are in a better place, Their families will never have to worry about food again even in these hard times. What they have sacrificed for their liege is worth one million times more."

Erland said the first part trying to console his daughter while seemingly speaking the rest to himself or maybe the souls that still wonder the courtyard.

At the same time as Syvis, Imryll and Erland acted so to did Aien, He immediately knew what had happened to Ayla when he saw her burnt arms and as he arrived next to her body he said to his wife.

"Don't worry your healing is the best in the Kingdom, Revalor will be fine calm down and focus."

After saying this for his wife and maybe himself too, He turned to Ayla.

'She probably went all out trying not to use her fire energy, But she must have seen Revalor getting injured and unconsciously gathered and released her fire energy at the enemies. In the process she ended up disfiguring herself again.'

Aien thought to himself while patching up Ayla with the knowledge he had from numerous battlefield injuries, After he finished tending to Ayla he started praying to the Elven Tree asking that she would survive her injuries long enough so that Syvis can heal her.

After he finished praying he walked over to the bodies burnt by Ayla, Looking for any possible clues about who may have employed them to harm his son.

Erland walked over to Aien after comforting his daughter and spoke.

"I never imagined that this would happen Aien I am truly sorry. I don't understand why Grand Duke Rydell's men would try to kill Revalor and Viessa."

The King bowed to his long time friend and general.

Aien sighed before putting his hand on his friends shoulder and speaking.

"You do not need to worry so much Erland, My son was injured by traitorous Royal Guards and the Laizer Kingdoms Royal Family. It is not your fault that he is injured."

Aien continued after Erland stood from his bow.

"What I know is that if my son comes to die I will find the ones at fault and the two Kingdom's will come to know a side of me I do not want to show again."

Erland shivered when Aien said this as he remembered the day Aien secured his throne for him like it was yesterday and how brutal Aien had been when he was fighting for his King.

"Don't worry Aien, If Revalor happens to die our Kingdom will come to know the taste of war again. It seems for all these years that we have been too passive and quiet, These start up nobles think they can have pawns run rampant in our Kingdom just because we want peace and quiet."

Erland said to Aien before he continued.

"I thought I could get away with quietly killing these rebellious guards and nobles but clearly we are in need of a full house cleaning Aien, Will you once again help me?"

Aien laughed before saying.

"Of course my old friend, Did you forget who I am? We will continue this conversation later and then we will cleanse this Kingdom, For now though we should continue with capturing the rebellious nobles at the affinity assessment and catch any assassins that show themselves."

"Alright friend we shall continue this later, Go talk to your wife and I will leave to deal with the rest of our problems."

Erland said as he commanded two companies of the battalion to follow him totaling 500 Royal Guards and left the rest under Aien's command.

Aien commanded the 500 guards to clean up the courtyard from the debris of stone, blood, body-parts and roots that were scattered everywhere. After that they were to gather all the traitors and strip them for all their worth while looking for information before burning the bodies.

After this Aien walked over to where Revalor and Ayla were, Seeing Syvis, Imryll and Viessa gathering around both of them he too crouched down to wipe the not yet dried tears off the face of his son before turning to his wife and showing two metallic objects while speaking.

"These are the only items I found on the bodies of the two people Ayla burnt to death, They are rings that although are quite melted still show the crest of the House of Laizer."

They all heard this but Syvis responded first.

"These people just cannot stop interrupting my life, Now they try to assassinate my son? For what? What have I ever done to them Aien?"

Syvis asked Aien this as she was on the verge of tears still healing her son.

"You have done nothing wrong love, It is I and Erland who have been far to passive in managing this Kingdom and its affairs. We will set our internal problems straight then focus on addressing our grievances with the two Kingdom's even if that means war!"

Aien promised Syvis with an unwavering tone.

"I only wish to kill the Laizer family, It has been far too long that they have bothered us."

Syvis responded to her husband.

Imryll finally snapped while listening to them and said.

"Why don't you two muscle brained elves wait to see if Revalor even dies before you start crafting war plans, Our Kingdom is so rife with corruption and unqualified officials it would be a miracle if we had the money to buy enough weapons, armor, horses and food to even fund a war effort."

Aien listened to her then commented on her muscle brained word jab.

"Your husband is one of those muscle brained elves too as he already gave his support. He already left to start the cleaning of the Kingdom. We know that there is too much internal strife to go to war now, That is why I stated that only after our internal problems are dealt with we will march."

Aien continued.

"Our Kingdom has been quiet on the continent's stage for too long and people are starting to look at us like rotting meat which we aren't far from being, Imryll you know what I am talking about and what we need to do to get these dogs off of our body."

Imryll sighed in defeat and spoke.

"Fine if even Erland has joined you guys I guess I am wrong, I will be leaving Viessa in your care so I can start my work as-well."

Aien nodded at her in understanding and thought to himself.

'She is the spy-master of the kingdom and has plenty of cleaning to do herself, After all for the assassins to get the information that the Royal Palace was empty with Revalor and Viessa heading towards it could only mean her network has been infiltrated.'

As he finished this thought he heard his wife's surprised shout.

"Revalor is healing on his own! I can feel life energy starting to heal his body!"

Syvis shouted sounding surprised and excited at the same time.

"He has life energy? That's a relief he will be able to heal himself then."

Imryll said with a genuine smile before leaving to clean her network of filth.

"I told you he would be fine with the best healer around didn't I?"

Aien asked his wife with a laugh as she came into his embrace.

"Thank you Aien. But I still need to heal Ayla, She defended both of them until she passed out from exhaustion and blood loss she deserves a chance at life."

Syvis left Aien's embrace as she said this and started to heal Ayla.

Two minutes after the Divine Beings sent Revalor's soul back into his body.

'I'm alive still...'

'I can't say I'm surprised about the fact that Divine Beings live in another realm and that Lotus gained a soul foundation, Everything that has happened these past few days is unimaginable.'

'Those two beings stated they gave Lotus gifts, I wonder what they gave her.'

[They gave me a shop.]

'Lotus you're awake!'

[No I'm sleeping.]

'Still a smart-ass I see.'

[Alright enough banter for now you need use your life energy to start healing as you are quickly dying, Though it's slower than I anticipated. You don't have to worry about accidentally using your life force as fuel because I will gather life energy to refill your "tank" as needed.]

'How do I use energy?'

[Do you remember the feeling of your soul being out of your body?]

'Yes I wouldn't ever forget that experience.'

[Good then grasp onto that feeling and instead of using it to move your soul outwards, Direct it inwards towards your soul housed in the body.]

After attempting it multiple times I succeeded.

'I can see inside my own body! It is such weird feeling to see my organs.'

[Good you are almost there internal sight is good progress continue trying to look further.]

A few moments later.

'Holy shit!'

I thought to myself before taking time to observe the sight I was seeing.

'The body is the container while the soul is like a massive ocean that absorbs natural energy while the energy affinities are seeds that soak in the soul eventually growing to be towering trees.'

[Heh, Pretty good analogy I must say. The only part I would correct is that most beings do not have an ocean or a lake for a soul instead they are stuck with a puddle , They cannot see their affinities or seeds either this is due to their affinity not being of a high enough quality. People also neglect their body cultivation that allows for complete use of the energy they have cultivated. This doesn't mean that people with puddles, broken seeds and weak bodies cannot rise to the top, But It is rarer to achieve than people that have an inborn foundation.]

'Lotus how do you know so much all of the sudden?'

[It comes from gaining a soul, at least my ability to constantly absorb energy for you does. My knowledge comes from the shop I was given by the Divine Beings, I will let you know how to use it later. For now since you can see your body, soul and seeds you can also use them, Just think about moving a handful of natural energy through your life seed's sprouting roots and into your body the life energy will do the rest.]

'Thanks again lotus, I will find or create the best vessel possible when it is time for you to leave my body.'

[I appreciate it Revalor, Though in reality it is you who has helped me. By acquiring a piece of your soul I can eventually grow mine enough to inhabit a body or vessel as the Divine Beings called it.]

'Seems like we owe each other then, Haha.'

As I thought this I started to direct my natural and life energy as Lotus described and it was surprisingly easy, Once it arrived in my body I watched the particles of energy move to my back healing it and not long after the particles started repairing my lung.

'Holy shit this life energy is so effective.'

[Indeed it is the rarest healing energy after all.]
