A disaster, that was what people would call the events that happened in the recent Beast wave of the Wildlands. No one would have thought that the matter would develop so far from what most people thought would happen.

The New Saint is not just a newly risen power but an experienced and powerful one too. Someone who was able to overpower the Sage of Five Elements and even remodeled the summon: Golem spell using Aura.

An unprecedented event that should have been entirely impossible in how different Mana works as well as how Aura behaves breaking generation of understanding of the nature of the world.

Many speculated that this new Saint was a beast in human skin and that was but an innate skill of his.

Yet many denied this claim as there were many witnesses of the new Saint from adventurers and even soldiers of the Kingdom.

But there were more rumors that it was an experiment of a madman escaping and living in the wildlands for decades.

A Hybrid made to kick out humanity in the top of the food chain making others believe that Marc should be eliminated.

But even if they have ill intent they cannot follow through as the declaration of the Beast Lords of the Wildlands made the Kingdom of Portwest alert and placed a lot more garrisoned soldiers within the small Baronny of Mogard.

Diane was able to get a lot of funds as well since Saint Pettun and Sage Bertun found her potential to be great.

They offered her a way out of Mogard and gain more chances to build up her influence in the Kingdom but she refused saying Mogard is her home.

Thus they gave her a lot of support making her fief into a Viscounty that made the neighbor Warsinger clan jealous but cannot act upon their thoughts since Diane has connections to the royal family.

The Fort was fortified as well but no more adventurers were allowed entry as the garrison is now stricter as the Fog Mountains no longer have Fog in it.

They can see the earthen wall much clearly now and they can see the thousands of small openings on the wall that peering eyes of beast can be seen looking upon the Fort.

Marc was still at the top of the wall and he was given an exclusive authority by the various beast lords of the wildlands to handle this wall and no one will bother his lands.

Though small in area it is useful, he does have the control of the 30 km long wall which where he is training all the monkey troops he has.

His first monkey troops became officers and he had them handle the training of the new comers. While the B-ranks and A-ranks were handled by him to train them into monkey officers.

He plans to make a hierarchy within that would make these different tribes of monkeys work together.

Though not all became troops since some were weaker but more dexterous with their fingers so Marc had them become crafters.

Though simple ones like teaching them how to make stone tools and how to fletch some arrows. But this was enough since they are using tough animal tendons and flexible wood in the forest in making bows.

Throwing axes were also introduced but these are mostly for the smaller built monkeys. The larger ones or brave enough were also given a special class by Marc in close quarter combat.

They are totally loving the monkey style kung fu where they all have talent in. But some branched out with karate and taekwondo, so Marc taught them.

It was at this time that the famed raining season is starting and the monkeys are taking shelter in the hollowed up part of the wall.

Marc had carved this using his Aura as he practiced it's usage within the wall by compacting it to make it tougher while also making a hollowed out part inside which he designed to be great support in the structure as he remembered how bunkers worked and looked in the inside.

He knew that the events here is gaining traction within the second as he watched the better equipped guards on the Fort.

He did not know that many events happened that reached the ears of many, the downfall of the Dunskirk Family is one of them.

When people learned of how the supposed to be negotiation fell apart because one idiot cannot hold his mouth and was impatient to know what the situation is thus making the world know of the might of the Wildlands.

Many were ignorant of how many Beast Lord are there inside the danger zone but from the four others that were present with Marc they knew that the small peninsula has a power to amass strength that could rival and entire Kingdom's military power.

That was just from the four Beast Lords and there were other recorded ones that have not been sighted yet as well as the ones that were predicted to have existed since the Behemoth was never thought to be in the Wildlands at first.

But this also sparked greed and jealousy form other nations speaking that the Naval Kingdom of Portwest is hogging the resources of the Wildlands.

Rumors went wild like the Kingdom now has made a new artifact with behemoths skin thus are prepared to force Sages into their bidding.

Or that the Kingdom has raised a secret weapon that is the new Saint to have the whole of the WIldlands for themselves.

Far reaching rumors like how the princess is being offered to the Man eating monster the Kingdom made in exchange for power and stability of their Kingdom.

But the ones most damaged was the Duchy of Sunskirk, Saint Pettun and Bertun became petty knowing that they have now a bad image to the new Saint because of the so called genius that was totally useless in the end.

This even disturbed the secluded cultivation of the ancestor who heard of the events and was angry at his descendants for being such useless people.

He almost even killed the young man himself but he refrained as he thought that the new Saint was a bit arrogant for hurting his kin.

But he cannot make a move as somehow the King had declared that the Wildlands Peninsula is now strictly forbidden and that no one regardless of status must not go past the assigned border decided by the King.

Many controversies and gossips were circulating amongst the higher class as they thought that maybe this new Saint is someone strong that even the Royal family has to let him be.

Some ambitious individuals thought that this was their chance and planned o ways bringing Marc into their control.

And this was all heard of by the ears of Vela, who is now handling the covert information gathering group that she built using the funds her benefactor left for her.

Now she had built a massive network on the Eastmost side of the East Continent from the smallest town to the largest City and even the various small countries that riddle the edge of the world.

She had been looking over the various threats that might be a bother for her lord and dealt with them accordingly.

Accidents, Assassinations, Bandit Attacks and even informing some select people of some deeds of some nobles making them rage over for personal reasons thus gaining these people grudges left and right.

What Marc did not know is that Vela has gotten hold of a book Marc wrote about his favorite detective stories as well as spy movies as to not forget them if he indeed lived in this world for a long time.

He had written a translated one which he made to practice writing the common language of this world.

Now this book became inspiration for Vela on how to make her organization and even devise many ways to ensure secrecy and loyalty.

The people he hired were former soldier with commoner status that has grievances with some people that she helped resolve thus making them owe her.

Slowly and surely her reach went far and wide and even included the homeless into the fold in gathering information.

Though Marc is oblivious, he is not a fool for thinking he can go about his life here alone so he kept the battle slaves and former sex slaves of that young master as his servants as well as the freed butler.

Philip Paras was a slave for the Dunskirk family for three decades and he had forgotten a time when he had hoped that he could be free but since his salve crest seemed to be high level he had let fate lead him ever since.

Now he was in tears when he felt the blank space within his chest as he woke up and also vowed to be loyal to Marc for life.

But Marc did not let him be a butler for him as he does not like being served to luxuriously.

He had the old man teach the freed slaves on how to fight, they were all A-ranked minimum so it'll be a waste to not use their specialties.

He did hear their former situation as well making Marc shae his ehad on how that kid wasted three A-ranked level fighters into his sex-slaves.

Two were demihumans, a cow girl who specializes carrying a tower shield and a half-elf and half dwarf girl that uses runic support magic.

The last girl was an archer at her early thirties and the rest were seven men.

Three were the typical swordsmen, two spear men and lastly two tankers or heavily armored slaves.

They were not the best but they were at least A-ranked and Marc used then to train the monkeys as well.

He made them work under the monkey captains as he called them but Philip was the one training them all in the various weapons they chose.

Most picked the Bo or spear while some picked up axes or shields, but Philip was competent enough to train them in almost all weapons.

Magla, Bula and Imlis were also brought to the wall as they now became his assistants in handling the inhabitants of the Dungeon.

It was a whopping two million of various species in one of the largest city he ever seen.

Though he had been to many places back in earth, Marc can attest that there are rarely cities that hold two million habitants.

Though he has not much of use for them for the moment as he rather preferred they live their lives as he gets the profits of owning a dungeon core.

But he was not that irresponsible enough to not handle them all.
