How it all Started

"Miss Cassandra you need to wake up! " "Mmm Ria it's already morning ?" Cassandra asked sleepily "Yes Miss and your parents asked you to come down stairs immediately , so I suggest that we go and get washed up " Ria said "Fine Maria it isn't like I can say no to you"

After taking a good bath , Maria helped Cassandra to blow dry her long sunflower blonde hair. Then , Maria picked a floral, light pink waist guidance dress. She then tied her hair into a high ponytail and wore some white sneakers.

Cassandra then walked to the garden's gazebo to have her breakfast with her family. Usually Cassandra's parents only ate at the garden when there is something important to discuss as a family so Cassandra knew that something was up.

When she reached the garden, she saw her parents happily chatting." Good morning mom , Good morning dad" Cassandra greeted "Good morning my love " Cassandra's mother Ophelia replied "Good morning " Her father Harvey, said bluntly whiles reading news on his iPad. After Cassandra took a seat, the servants began to serve them some food. " So Gael I heard that you were first in your end of term examination again, well done !"Ophelia praised "Yes I heard about that too but , you did amazingly well in arts and music I have told you to not fo-" Before Harvey could finish his sentence Gael cut him short "But I also did well in business ! I taught that was the only thing that matters to you!" " Don't speak to me like that Gael I am your father !"Harvey yelled "Some father you are " Gael said under his breath " What did you just say to me you brat !"

"Boys boys we didn't come here to yell at each other did we ?,we came here for Cassandra " Ophelia said "For me ?"Cassandra asked suprised "Yes for you honey, today we got a letter from the 4 Emperor's castle! " "Really what did they say?" Cassandra asked curiously "Well my love, you know that they are looking for wives and there is a competition , so , today we got a letter telling as that they want you to participate! "Ophelia yelled "What! " Cassandra and Gael shouted simultaneously "So you guys are practically selling MINE sister off "Gael said whiles slamming his hand on the table " Mind your tongue young man !We are not ' selling ' Cassandra ,she is already of age to get married ,and, what if she catches the eyes of an Emperor that will be great for our family's name just think of our business it will be a hit! " Ophelia stated "I know we aren't your real children ! So you are going sell her off just to make our family's name be a hit are you that selfish? "Gael stated angrily "Excuse me young man you mind your tongue and remember we took the both of you from that disgusting orphanage, we brought you home , gave you food and spoilt you with everything money could offer so what if Cassandra does this for us huh what will happen it is not like an Emperor will choose her anyway she could catch the eyes of a grand Duke or grand Prince and that will set her future for life ! We are doing the best thing a parent could do! " " Yeah and that is selling off YOUR children to some stranger who think they own the world" "Oh My God Gael you cannot speak about the Royals like that haven't you heard that the walls have ears!?"
