My Choice

After my mother droped that bombshell on me it was now my decision whether I would want to accept the invitation or not. "Cassandra you are not going to accept that invitation right !?"Gael said angrily "Of course she will Gael you just don't understand! " Ophelia thier mother said whiles banging her hand on the dining table "I do understand! And you want to sell her off to some man" "Oh please Gael you are a man, so you, don't understand Cassandra is a lady and she is 17 and she has almost passed her prime and if she does no one would want to marry her ! Unlike you every lady would want to marry you even if you are an old man !" Ophelia exclaimed "You're lying that-" "ENOUGH!!" Harvey yelled "The invitation didn't invite any of you they invited Cassandra so it's up to her to accept it or not!"When Harvey said that everyone's eyes fell on Cassandra " Cass do you want to accept the invite or not? " Harvey asked "I- uhm- I- need some time to think about it ,maybe by the afternoon I'd have my answer" Cassandra said coyly "Fine then by 1 o'clock we should have your answer Cassandra."

After breakfast Cassandra practically dragged Maria her maid and best friend to her room "Ria I have so much to tell you!" Cassandra exclaimed "Okay Okay deep breaths, now tell me! "Ria screamed. When Cassandra was done explaining everything, Ria let out a big sigh " So now you have to choose whether to accept the invite or not ,so what are you going to do now ?" Ria asked " I seriously don't know what to do that is why I came to confinde in you Ria"Cassandra said "Cassandra are you seriously asking me that ?" " Wait should I not go ?" "Of course go Cassie , you could catch the eye of a Grand Duke or Grand Prince or even an Archduke ,Cassie, and what if you get lucky and one of the Emperors start to fancy you!" Ria explained "So I should accept the invitation? But what if no one wants me? " Cassandra asked nervously "Cassandra have you seen your self in the mirror?You are beautiful and girls will die just to get your beauty and besides aren't you always telling me how you want to experience life outside of your comfort zone and this is the perfect chance for you to do that" Ria said "You are right Ria this is my chance to find love and experience life, real love" "So you are going to accept the invite right?" Later on when it was 1 o'clock Cassandra went to the living room, where all her family members were."Cassie we aren't going to beat around the bush do are you going to accept the invitation or not " Harvey said "Well I have thought about it and well I want to accept the invitation." Cassandra Replied "I knew you would make the right choice baby girl" Ophelia said "Well then Cassandra has made her choice and none of us are going to object " Harvey said whiles glaring at Gael " Fine if Cassandra wants to go it is her choice not mine so I am not going to object" Gael said clearly annoyed." Then we have to go do some shopping !"Ophelia exclaimed
