"You're welcome, Ms Calista."

Calista was getting sadder in loneliness. Just imagine that she was alone without a phone in this quiet room. If only her phone were with her, she could contact someone to save her from loneliness.
She heard footsteps approaching, and she thought it was her brother but no, the man…
"Leo." A gleam of happiness immediately covered her face.
"Yeah, baby, it's me. Who do you think?"
"The nurse said that you weren't in front of my room."
"Yeah, I wasn't there."
"Then, where are you waiting for?"
"I'm looking for a safer place."
'Which is out of Calvino's reach, so I can see you this morning, baby.' Calvino added in his heart.
"How did you know that I stayed here last night?" Calvino asked.
"My heart knew."
"How sweet you are, baby." Leonard teased Calista while pinching her cheek.
"Iewh, you pervert!"
"I know, and I'm teasing you on purpose. It turns out that you're easily angry like your brother."
Remembering her brother made Calista sad again. She wanted the relationship between her brother and her lover to go hand in hand. However, it was far from reality. To meet her, Leonard had to hideaway
"Baby, why is your pretty face so gloomy, hum?" Said Leonard while gently caressing Calista's cheek.
"What's wrong? Tell me!" Leonard asked again.
"Nothing,"
"Are you sure?"
Calista nodded.
While holding her tiny fingers, Leonard asked her lover not to think about anything other than her recovery so that she could come to the office quickly. If so, nothing would stop the two of them from meeting each other.
"Baby, sorry, you have to go."
'I don't want Calvino to catch you here and tear us apart even more. I don't want that to happen.' Calista whispered in her heart.
"Why? It's still early."
Leonard immediately put on a smile that could calm Calista's heart and gently caressed her cheek. He told her that he had a meeting this morning, so he had to get to the office before the meeting started.
However, in his heart, he said a thousand words. He was sorry for lying like this.
Even though it was tough for him to part, he had to leave Calista's room immediately. Before leaving, he showered the top of her head, forehead, and eyes with kisses. However, when he turned to her lips, he turned his face away.
Calista wondered why Leonard didn't want to kiss her lips. His sturdy fingers stretched out to gently caress along her luscious lips, just stroking them without kissing them.
"Get well soon, baby. Remember, don't think about anything else but focus on your health. If you miss me, just close your eyes and put your hand here." Said Leonard while bringing Calista's hand to her chest.
"This is where I accompany your every breath. Don't feel alone. We're always together even though our bodies aren't close to each other."
Calista's tears just flowed down her cheeks without her realising it. Leonard immediately wiped her tears then begged her never to cry again.
"I'm going home, baby," Leonard said goodbye while kissing Calista's forehead deeply. Shortly after, he kissed her cheek.
He wanted to give a brief kiss on her lips, but he knew enough about his position. It wasn't the right time to indulge his inner desires. His woman was sick, and he didn't want to hurt her.
"Be careful, honey."
"Hmm, you too, baby," Leonard replied.
Leonard immediately left Calista's room even though it was tough for him. Throughout the corridor, he kept smiling.
The god of luck had been on his side, so he didn't meet Calvino because 5 minutes after his departure, Calvino came.
"Why did you come back? You should have rested in your apartment first." Calista asked.
"So you can be alone with your lover, right?" Calvino cynically asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't pretend to be stupid, Calista. You just met your lover, right?"
"Leo is my boyfriend, so what's wrong with that? I know you never liked him, but you shouldn't act like this."
"I did all this because I wanted to protect you, Calista. If Leo really loves you sincerely, he should respect you, not just want to plunge you into gross things." Calvino snapped.
Calista remained silent because everything her brother said was true. Evidently, Leonard tried to take that opportunity several times. But after yesterday's fight, he has changed just like this morning.
"You don't need to worry about him, Calvin. I can take care of myself. I'm sure Leo will never dare to do anything like that." Calista added.
Calvino immediately flashed a cynical smile.
"How far can you survive from his temptations? A man as stupid as Leonard will never stop until his desire is fulfilled."
"Don't act like you know everything! Leo loves me. I can see it in his eyes."
"You have to be able to differentiate between love and lust."
"I'm not a kid anymore, so you don't need to teach me! And don't pretend to know about my lover!"
"I'm also a man. Of course, I know your lover's savage brain. Let's see if he dares to harass you, and I will never forgive him. Keep that in mind!" Calvino exclaimed.
Not wanting to continue arguing with his beloved sister, Calvino immediately sat on the sofa and then immersed himself in monitoring the Kafeel Group.
Feeling ignored, Calista tried to talk to him again.
"Let's talk about it later, Calista."After that, he focused on staring at the laptop screen.
Meanwhile, Calista continued to stare at her brother. For a moment, she thought that she should resign from her current office and join the Kafeel Group to lighten her brother's burden.
Feeling that he was being watched intensely, Calvino immediately lowered the laptop from his lap and approached Calista.
"What's wrong? What do you want to talk about? If it's still related to your lover, then forget it."
"Nope," Calista replied.
"Then?" Calvino's gaze was getting sharper, and being looked at like that from a very close distance made Calista's guts shrink.
Shortly after, she gave up her intention.
"Nothing. Just forget it."
"What do you want to say, Calis?" Calvino asked again while rubbing the top of his sister's head. He then pulled a chair and sat there.
"I know there's something stuck in your heart. Just say it, dear!"
"Erm, nothing."
"Well then, don't bother me anymore." Calvino focused on his work again.
