Calvino nodded and gently stroked the top of his sister's head.

Not wanting to disturb his sister's conversation with Lenata, Calvino immediately sat on the sofa then spoiled his eyes with the laptop screen.
Meanwhile, Leonard, who couldn't contact his woman, was immediately stricken with anxiety. He decided to go to Calista's apartment after work. Somehow, he couldn't wait that long, so he immediately grabbed the car key.
"I have a meeting outside the office and maybe until late at night. If guests are looking for me, tell them to come back tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay, Mr Leo."
Leonard drove his car at high-speed through the city centre towards Calista's apartment. He then stood in front of the door for hours. Still, there was no sign of the door opening. He called Calista's phone many times, but there was also no answer.
'Where are you, baby? Please pick up the phone! Don't make me worry, baby.' Leonard thought, worried.
The bond between Leonard and Calista was so strong that they both could feel each other's feelings. It was proven by Calista, who suddenly imagined her lover's face.
"You seem to be thinking about something."
"Nothing, Len,"
"Don't lie, Calis. We've been friends for a long time, and I know exactly what you're like."
"Don't be a know-it-all."
"Of course I know. And ... Whose phone is ringing? Your phone, right?"
"Hmm."
"Just pick up your phone. Who knows it's important."
"Well, you want to talk to Calvin?
"No, I already talked to him. I look forward to your arrival in London and don't forget to invite Calvin. I miss you so much. Bye, babe."
"Bye, belen"
"What is belen?"
"Babe Lenata, bye."
After disconnecting the phone with Lenata, Calista immediately picked up a call from Leonard.
No doubt, she was attacked by thousands of questions that made her head feel dizzy.
"You made me dizzy, honey. Ask me one by one."
"Sorry, baby, I'm worried," Leonard replied.
Calvino, who heard his sister's conversation, glanced sarcastically. For some reason, It was tough for him to accept Leonard. He wasn't the right man to accompany his beloved sister.
Calvino increasingly resented Leonard after knowing that he was almost insulting his sister's honour. He believed that Leonard was the cause of Calista pain.
Feeling stared at by her brother, Calista immediately lowered her voice. It made Leonard protest to her.
"Where are you, baby? Your voice is low."
Calista hadn't answered yet, and the doctor came over.
"So you're in the hospital?
"I'll call you later."
After that, Calista immediately hung up the phone.
From the other end, Leonard seemed annoyed because he hadn't asked the hospital where Calista was being cared for, but the call had been cut off. And even now, Calista didn't answer the call.
Meanwhile, Calvino was furious with his sister's phone that kept ringing. He then grabbed it and picked up the call.
The unwanted thing happened because Calvino forbade Leonard to come to the hospital because Calista had been allowed to go home this afternoon.
"But, Calvin. The doctor told me that I should be hospitalised a few days here."
"I lied."
"But why?"
"Because I don't want to see him."
"I know you still can't accept Leo, but no matter what, he's my HR. He'll definitely know if I can't work for a few days."
"Leave all the business to me. You don't need to contact him for permission.
Shortly after, Calvino called Albert about Calista's condition today. Unbeknownst to Calista, they planned her departure to London.
"Why did it take so long? What were you talking about with Mr Albert? I should have brought it up myself."
"There's nothing for you to worry about, Calis. You better rest and don't think about anything else except your health." Calvino suggested while rubbing the top of his sister's head.
Calvino accidentally caught Calista's phone, which kept vibrating. He then snatched it from Calista's hands.
"Give it back, Calvin! It's my privacy, and I hope you..."
"Take a rest, and I'll keep your phone."
After that, Calvino immediately turned off Calista's phone. Calista was annoyed. How did she contact Leonard then? Indeed her lover must be worried because he couldn't reach her.
Calista's guess was correct because Leonard was worried when her phones couldn't be reached, as well as her office phone.
'What happened, baby? Why can't I reach you?' Calvino thought, worried.
In the evening, Leonard was still standing at the door of Calista's apartment. There were no signs of the woman's arrival.
'You should have arrived at your apartment. Did something happen?' Leonard whispered in his heart.
He wanted to visit Calista at the hospital. Still, he didn't have a clue which hospital Calista was being treated in this big city. There weren't only one but hundreds of hospitals.
Not wanting to be constantly ambushed by worry, he went to the hospitals in Surabaya one by one.
Somehow, Leonard was tired. Almost half of the hospitals he visited but haven't found his lover. He called Calista's phone again, but it was still inactive.
'Please activate your phone, baby. Don't make my heart worried.' Leonard thought.
He then directed his car across the road to another hospital, not wasting time. And in this hospital, for some reason, his heart felt something different. He felt close to Calista.
With vast steps, he went straight to the receptionist. The information from the receptionist made him gasp.
His eyes instantly heated up, not because of sad news or anything else but happy news because his lover was in this hospital.
Leonard half-ran towards the room where Calista was being treated. Without knocking first, he quickly opened the door. The sight in front of his eyes made his tears flow down his sturdy cheeks.
Leonard was speechless. He just hugged Calista's body tightly and repeatedly kissed the top of her head without saying a word.
"Thank God, you're okay, baby."
"How did you know I'm here? Did Calvin tell you?" Leonard just smiled and then re-embraced Calista into a hug.
Unbeknownst to them, a pair of eyes were staring at them with disapproval. Not wanting to be involved in a conversation with Leonard, Calvino closed the door and left the hospital.
