"Kevin, we know it's your first time visiting a place like this, but how can you be so shameless?"

"You were willing to spend your money on a poor person so you could enjoy a meal in this restaurant, but you're not grateful."

"Kevin, you can't earn 750k world coins in your whole life. But you casually expect me to spend 750k on you?" Caleb questioned angrily.

"Caleb, didn't you say I could order anything? Why are you so angry right now?" Kevin continued to sip on his drink.

"Caleb, why don't you throw him out? He doesn't deserve your kindness."

"Yeah, I don't want to be in the same room as him."

"Kevin, no one wants you here, and you better pay for the meals you ordered. No one else will pay for the meals you ordered," Caleb growled.

"Do you really think Kevin can pay 750k world coins? That's the funniest thing I've heard." Hazel was angry when they started to mock her friend. "Okay, then we'll also leave. I don't want to stay here when my friend is getting mocked."

Hazel does think what Kevin is doing is wrong. You can't ask others to pay 750k world coins. That's a lot of money. But they are the first to make fun of him.

"Hazel, you belong to a rich family. Why do you want to hang out with those two poor people? Can't you maintain your image?" Caleb was angry to see Hazel still supporting Kevin.

"That's enough, Caleb," Liam spoke up. He usually doesn't talk much, but he can't let others say something terrible about his girlfriend. "You are no one to say who Hazel should be friends with, and I think you should think about your image before advising others."

"You poor bastard, how dare you talk to me like that?" Caleb said furiously.

"Caleb, please mind your words. Liam is not poor. We run a business together," Hazel replied.

"Isn't that your family business, Hazel? If you're not with him, he'd be on the streets," Caleb shouted.

"At least I work, Caleb, unlike those who don't care about their business and spend their fathers' money on vacations. Without your father's money, you'd also be on the streets. Don't act like you earned the money yourself," Liam replied calmly.

"You—"

"Silence," Kevin ordered. He was watching a fantastic drama, but things were getting too loud for his comfort.

"Oh, Caleb. Since childhood, you've always boasted that you're rich and can do anything. So I thought you could pay a small amount of 750k," Kevin said.

Caleb's face was red with anger, and he was about to say something.

"Oh boy. I've never been wrong in my whole life. I never knew you were so poor," Kevin laughed.

"Are you calling me poor?" Caleb asked angrily.

"Of course," Kevin turned around and spoke. "Manager, why don't you give the bill to me after everything is done. I will pay for it."

"You're going to pay for it? Are you kidding me?" Caleb said mockingly.

"H-How can we let you pay the bill, sir? You don't have to pay the bill, sir," the chief manager replied.

Everyone was confused about why the Chief Manager spoke so respectfully to him.

"Kevin, can you stop joking? It's not 75 world coins. It's 750k world coins," Caleb was sure that Kevin couldn't pay for the bill.

"You don't have to worry too much. Here, take this," Kevin took out his Citadel Bank black card.

Everyone was surprised to see this. They knew how precious owning a Citadel bank card was, and this was a black card.

"No, sir. You're the owner. How can we let you pay?" The chief manager insisted.

"Owner?"

Everyone was shocked.

Kevin owns the Hotel Grandiose, the most famous hotel in Calton City.

After the manager left, the room was filled with silence. No one dared to talk.

They never imagined in their wildest dreams that Kevin owned the Hotel Grandiose. They recalled how they had boasted about Caleb booking a VIP room in front of the owner of the Hotel.

They didn't know what else to say.

Liam and Hazel were also stunned upon hearing that Kevin owned the Hotel.

 "Wow, that's amazing, Kevin," Hazel replied with a smile.

"We're genuinely happy for you, Kevin," Liam said.

The others just looked on, starting to regret making fun of Kevin. Hotel Grandiose is the most popular hotel in Calton and makes a lot of money. 

If only they could turn back time.

"Don't worry, Caleb. I know you're poor and can't afford this. I'll pay for the meals," Kevin wanted to give Caleb a taste of his own medicine.

Kevin recalled all the things people had said to him in the past. It was all because of Caleb. He used to cry himself to sleep thinking about those things. It feels good to get revenge.

Caleb wanted to speak up but couldn't find the words. He had only wanted his crush to break up with her boyfriend and choose him. But now he had made a fool of himself.

Kevin knows this isn't the end of the drama because a very important person mentioned they'd be late to the reunion as they weren't free and would visit when they were done with the work. He's looking forward to facing them once again.
