Reunion 2

Right then, Kevin entered the room and said, "Hello everyone. Lovely to see you all again."

Why would he hide when everyone is making fun of him? He has no reason to hide.

He has nothing to do, so why not have a little fun?

"Hello, Kevin," Hazel and Liam greeted.

The reason Caleb hates Kevin is because he is close to Hazel. He doesn't know why she is friends with Kevin but not him. So he and his group turned Kevin's best friend against him and falsely accused Kevin. Everything was going according to plan, but suddenly, the principal discovered it was all a lie. So, he pushed the blame onto Kevin's best friend.

Caleb is even more furious seeing Kevin. He thought he wouldn't attend the reunion, but now he is standing before him.

"Kevin, sit here," Hazel asked Kevin to sit next to her and Liam.

The room was silent, but Kevin was busy talking to Hazel and Liam. Kevin became friends with Hazel and Liam when they worked on a project. He was really happy to see them again.

Caleb can't control his anger. The person he wanted to impress is not looking at him. Kevin became an easy target for him to make fun of.

"It's been a long time, Kevin. I thought you wouldn't attend the reunion. It must be hard for you to work different jobs to pay your bills," Caleb said mockingly.

"Caleb, this is a reunion. We all met each other after a long time," Hazel dont want Caleb to start a drama.

"Oh, thank you for worrying about me, Caleb. And of course, how could I not visit the reunion? I am so happy to see you all again," Kevin replied.

"Caleb, I don't think you're making a good impression on Hazel," his friend Ryan said quietly.

Caleb didn't pay much attention to Ryan's suggestion. He was so angry that people like Kevin and Liam were close to Hazel. But she didn't seem to care about him.

"Kevin, it must be your first time visiting somewhere this luxurious, right?"

"Of course, I bet. Maybe that's the reason he attended the reunion. He wants to see what expensive places look like. Who knows, he may never get a chance to see one again."

"Do you know, Kevin, it's not easy to book a VIP room here in this hotel? Even if you have the money, you have to book it two months in advance. Caleb was able to book one because he's close to one of the managers."

Others also mocked Kevin because they wanted to make a good impression in front of Caleb.

Kevin did know it's not easy to book a VIP room because Mr. Harry informed him. But Kevin has a suite for himself, so he can enjoy it whenever he wants to.

"Why the heck is everyone boasting as if they own the hotel?" Kevin thought.

"I never thought I would sit in the VIP room of Hotel Grandiose," Kevin said. Of course, he thought he never would because he has his suite in this hotel.

Caleb smiled upon hearing this.

"Kevin, you don't have to worry. I'll pay for everyone's meals today. You can order what you want. Maybe this will be the last time you eat in a luxurious hotel," Caleb said with a mocking smile.

When they were younger, Kevin would never be silent when Caleb mocked him. But now, Kevin isn't doing anything like that.

"It looks like after all these years, he's finally learned something useful," Caleb thought.

Ryan looked at Kevin. Kevin wasn't someone who stayed silent when he was made fun of. He didn't understand why Kevin wasn't saying anything.

The waiter came to take their order.

"I want five bottles of the costliest wine in your collection, please and thank you," Kevin ordered.

Kevin had already eaten a lot of desserts, so he didn't want any more food. He just ordered drinks.

The waiter took the order and left. The others in the room were dumbfounded after hearing Kevin's order.

After some time, the waiter brought all the items they had ordered. Kevin silently poured himself some wine.

Everyone was shocked by Kevin's behaviour.

"Kevin, that was the costliest wine in the hotel, and each bottle costs 150,000 world coins, and you ordered five bottles!"

"Don't worry, you guys. Didn't Caleb say he could pay? Of course, he's rich. Can't he pay a small amount of 750,000 world coins? Here, have some of it." Kevin pushed a bottle toward the person who had just spoken.
