Senior Daoist Hunchbacked Titan Part Two

Inside the fog, Huang Fu is slowly traveling while also observing the area with his limited vision. But even after walking for a few minutes, only an ordinary path filled with some shrubs can be seen.

'When does this stop?' Huang Fu furrowed his as he then started to run at high speed trying to find out where to get out of this fog.

Without any other way to go, he kept on going while the fog stays one meter away from him...

After experiencing this for hours, his eyesight then became blurry as visions started showing up in his head. "Wha.. what's happening?" He mumbled to himself while having the difficulty to even walk. He forcefully closed his eyes to try and snap himself out of it.

After opening his eyes, he saw numerous eyes coldly staring at right at him with despise as he was clutching his head. While he was puzzled over what's happening, he felt excruciating pain that seems to strike right into his consciousness.

He closed his eyes again to try and alleviate the pain, his body was curled up as he kept on shouting while clutching his head.

He then tried to open his eyes painstakingly to reach out his hand to someone in the crowd.

"He..help me" He said in a soft while in great pain, hoping that someone would also reach out to him. Only to see them smirk at him coldly before leaving him alone.

As he was about to fall into despair, he saw people who are nearby that didn't leave.

"Hey! Help me get up here" He smiled widely seeing his family, he then crawled towards them while still keeping his smile... As he was getting closer to them, he then noticed that they were getting further and further away from him.

Puzzled, he looked downwards towards their feet only to see them walking away from him. He slowly raised his head as he saw that just like the crowd from before, they had wide cold grins on their faces staring at him ... They then chuckled mockingly before turning around and leaving him.

Huang Fu stared blankly at their backs that are slowly getting smaller and smaller. His eyes then turned lifeless as he felt despair... tears slowly formed as it fell down to the ground...

..

Deep inside a forest, at an area that's covered with fog, shouts of anguish can be heard from inside it despite the fog being so thick. Above that is an old man wearing white robes floating while watching at a location inside it, with the thick fog seemingly incapable of blocking his sight.

"No wonder he can't use his space dao here, his soul will is so weak. He fainted only after a few hours. Well, beggars can't choose" The old man muttered to himself with brows furrowed while looking at a young man shouting in pain while clutching his head.

He then descended to the ground with a displeased face. After he landed beside the young man, he snapped his fingers, at the sound of it, the fog subsided at a slow pace. Beside him, the young man removed his arms from his head as his face started to relax.

Seeing this sight, the old man walked towards him and lightly kicked his stomach."Hey, kiddo, wake up!"

...

"What happened...?" As Huang Fu was experiencing different visions while also feeling excruciating pain, he felt something that pulled him away from it. Without even having the strength to move his body, he struggled to open his eyes to see where he is, only to feel a strong force that hit his stomach. But instead of feeling pain, he felt spirit qi going inside his body that helped him recover.

"..... wake up!" While he was busy recovering, he heard a loud voice that vibrated inside his head. He then stood up wearing surprised expression with his position getting ready to fight.

"Kid! Your soul will is so weak, fainting only after a few hours." Huang Fu suddenly heard a hoarse voice that oddly removed him from his anxious state,

Turning around to find the source of the voice, he saw a hunchbacked old man wearing white robes that have an ancient feeling when you look right into it. Within his one hand is a seemingly ordinary brown staff that reaches his height. The old man's is wearing a displeased expression on his face while looking at him.

Knowing that the other party is much stronger than him, Huang Fu hurriedly greeted him with his fist clasped into his other hand and head bowed down.

'It's that person who's been watching me' Huang Fu thought. Even though he posses the system that he can rely on if the situation gets worse, he still felt that it's better safe than sorry.

"What's your name kid?" While he was busy pondering, he heard the old man's hoarse voice

"It's Huang Fu. Senior..."

"You can just call me Titan, it came from my title Daoist Hunchbacked Titan" Titan impatiently waves his hand at him.

"Yes, senior Titan"

"You're soul will is so weak... well, it's not a surprise considering that you're from here." Titan sighed with his hands massaging his forehead.

"Senior, what's this soul will you're talking about?" Huang Fu curiously asked as he heard the same words from before.

"Your soul will's strength is a measurement of how well you can use skills and actions that needs the soul to take action. But most importantly, it's the one that determines how much of your comprehension in dao you can control. If your soul will is weak, the strength you can release from your comprehension will be very limited." Titan explained patiently.

After pausing for awhile, he continued, "I measured your soul will from before in fog which is called 'The Demons's Illusion'. It puts pressure unto your soul until it reaches its limit. After reaching your limit, you will feel excruciating pain while seeing memories that you buried in your heart, to which cultivators call it the 'Heart Devils'"

"So the visions I saw before?....."

"Yes, their your heart devils" Titan calmly replied.

Seeing Huang Fu remained silent, Titan slowly walked away to wait for him to calm down.

'I just wish that he wont be consumed by his own Heart Devil... I've seen too many geniuses fall because of that' Titan sighed as he remembered some of the memories from his past.
