Lucas was driving back to his office from his lunch break and counting the seconds before he would be able to go home and have a much-needed drink. It was a pity that he still had up to 5 hours to spend at work. If not for the fact that he needed to work, he would have sat down at home drinking himself to a stupor and plotting his revenge against that evil witch he called a girlfriend. What had Chloe been thinking, running away like that without telling him where she was going? With the way he was feeling, it was probably better for him to take at least one drink so that he could cool down and work better. He was still mulling on Chloe’s heartlessness when a driver cut in front of him, almost hitting him.
