As soon as he got into the shower, he took the hottest shower that he had ever taken in his life, staying in there for more than thirty minutes before he came out. During this time, he came to a conclusion. He would go and talk to Mildred and hear what she had to say. If it was something that was forgivable, he would forgive her, and if not, he would call off their engagement. Despite how much he loved her, and he loved her a lot, he could never be with someone whom he did not trust. There was no sign of Mildred as he stepped into the room, which was not a surprise, considering that he had yelled at her to get out of there. He took his sweet time drying off his body and finding something to wear before he stepped out of the bedroom in search of her. He was still very furious, and only wanted to hear her side of the story, even though he was not sure there was anything that would justify her cheating on him.
