Not long later we made it to the lake, a not so dangerous area as the shore of the lake the only thing you'd have to worry about are slime men and slime girls, but both are rather weak so most feeling my presence decided to stay away, and since I have Suu back at home I'm not interested in getting more slime girls.

Luckily we found a boat attached to the pier nearby so we decided to take it as I began to row out into the lake and towards the small island in its center where she lives at.

We approached her as she got up and looked us over, "Well now, to what do I owe the presence of yourselves on my island?" She asked in question.

"Goddess Maerae, I come from another world to stop the encroaching corruption of this world from affecting my own." Aria says as she introduces why she is here.

"Ahh yes, one of the fabled champions that come from another land to protect your worlds and fixing mine as a result." She said with a nod in understanding.

"And I shall help you champions." She said assuming that I'm also a champion from another world, which isn't exactly wrong to think that.

"I shall tell you of the factory deep in the mountains that the demons have come to use to corrupt both the land and the people of my world, I'm stuck on this island for the time being due to them trying to corrupt the lake and one of the few remaining fresh resources of water left in the world not corrupted by the demons, I wish for you champions to go there and shut it down so as to save the fresh water for all, in doing so I shall reward you handsomely." She said as she explained what she wanted of us before touching our heads and showing us a very specific location in the mountains where the demon factory is located at.

"Now go, do this for me and I'll grant you any wish you desire." She says as she looks at us, before looking at me intently before walking away with a purposeful sway in her hips before she merged with one of her trees and disappeared as a result.

I just smirked at that before both me and Aria headed back to the ship and headed back to shore before heading towards home, I guess she already knows what I want as my reward and I think she doesn't mind at all.

Elsewhere, deep in the mountains, inside the Demon Factory.
