21 - Murder

After Itachi put everyone in an illusion, he hastily brought them back to their residence. It was quite risky as Xiao Moshan, who was at the Earth Profound realm, stayed next to the courtyard Xiao Kuangyun stayed at. But Itachi managed to do it.

He laid the twitching body of Xiao Kuangyun on the bed while positioning the two Spirit Profound guards outside in a cross-legged position. That way it looked more like they were meditating than unconscious. While for Xiao Yulong, he just left him at the entrance of his courtyard.

After doing that, Itachi thought of going back to his own courtyard before shaking the idea off. He wasn't worried about Xia Qingyue so he just went back to Xiao Lingxi's courtyard. The reason for this is because he was going to refine the Star concealing grass into medicine pellets.

Entering he quickly sat on the bed before he waved his palm. After a green flash, the two blades of the profound medicine were now on his hand.

'Now all I have to do is refine them' Itachi thought as he circulated his profound energy towards the Sky poison pearl as it began refining them.

This was one of the Sky Poison Pearls uses, herb refinement.

In order to create medicine, a diverse amount of herbs are often required to be crushed, processed, fused, added profound energy for additional effects, etc. This process was not only complicated but would also, unavoidably, cause a certain amount of medicinal force to be lost. Furthermore, it was certain that there would always be a probability of failure.

Especially when it comes to high-grade medicine, not only was a huge amount of gold needed to purchase the rare ingredients, the chances of failure was extremely high as well and, once you fail, everything would be gone. In addition, not everyone had the ability to make the higher grades of medicine. There was a very high requirement for the ability of the alchemist, the cauldron, the ambiance, and the effects added using profound energy.

However, if one used the Sky Poison Pearl's Herb Refinement, there was absolutely no need to worry about all this. This is because it could rapidly refine the most important part of the ingredient within the shortest time possible, and perfectly fuse it. The whole process would not waste any medicinal force and furthermore, there was no chance of failure! As for the unused parts, they would be disposed of by the Sky Poison Pearl. Early in the morning the Xiao Sect's people along with Xiao Yulong were already planning to leave. Xiao Kuangyun, Xiao Yulong, and the other two all had forgotten what had transpired last night. Though even if he didn't remember, Xiao Kuangyun wanted to leave as fast as possible.

The reason being he had a dream where he was a woman and was being r-a-ped by over 100 men who all had his face! He didn't know why he had such a dream, but it was one of his worst nightmares.

This was of course the doing of Itachi's genjutsu. Not only did Xiao Kuangyun completely forget even an image of Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi but also trapped him in an illusion where he was a woman and forced to commit adultery with men who had his face.

As soon as the sun came up he went to the elder and told him they were leaving. After that they were now setting off. But what no one didn't know was that Itachi was following them. But he was now completely invisible to anyone and not only that but he was even on top of the same carriage they rode!

Soon two hours later, they had arrived at the border of Floating Cloud City and approached the Cyan Wood Forest. It took another hour or so until they finally began to see the next town which was Cyan Forest Town.

Itachi felt that it was already far enough and began to make his move. At a sudden flash of green a small dagger was now held in his hand. He coated it with profound energy before he body flickered and appeared behind Xiao Moshan as he stabbed the dagger at his neck.

Although Xiao Moshan was at the Earth profound he was still caught off guard by the sudden attack. Not a second later his neck was pierced as blood began to flow out of it. He was going to fight back when he felt the dagger in his neck twist. Soon after the light in his eyes slowly died as he too followed.

Although he was strong there was a reason as to how Itachi killed without too much trouble. Cultivators don't necessarily train their body to withstand weapons unless it is a profound art they train in. In most cases they just use profound energy to strengthen and shield their bodies.

From Itachi's analysis, Xiao Moshan was one of the types that didn't train in any body strengthening arts and only used profound energy to strengthen himself. So if he was fast enough to attack before Xiao Moshan could even use his profound energy then it was an easy kill.

As soon as he killed Xiao Moshan the carriage halted as without the driver the profound horses wouldn't know where to go.

"What?! Why did it stop?" The impatient voice of Xiao Kuangyun sounded off.

"You two go see what's the hold off" He said, ordering his two Spirit Profound realm bodyguards.

" Yes young master!" The two sounded off as they got out.

But as soon as that happened they spotted the dead body of Xiao Moshan. Their eyes widened when suddenly from behind them Itachi appeared. He had held two daggers on both hands as they both stabbed the hearts of the two Spirit profound experts.

Much like Xiao Moshan, they fell soon after. Staring at the corpses of the three, he shook his head before setting his sights on the carriage. Inside was where Xiao Yulong and Xiao Kuangyun were. Since learning of their plan to take his grandfather hostage and ra-pe his little aunt he longed for their death. Xiao Yulong included since he was the one who proposed the ideas.

With his sharingan active he walked to the carriage door and opened it. As soon as he did so he looked at Xiao Kuangyun in the eyes and trapped him in the paralysis jutsu.

"...!" Xiao Kuangyun was soon trapped and couldn't move as he stared at Itachi.

" You! What is trash like you doing here!?" Xiao Yulong said. As he wasn't bound by any illusions unlike Xiao Kuangyun.

Itachi didn't answer as he grabbed Xiao Yulong by the throat and threw him out the carriage. With Xiao Yulong's cultivation being now at the 2nd stage of Elementary profound realm he couldn't resist.

"Ack! Y-you trash, you dare hit me?!" He raged as he looked at where he last saw Itachi to find him gone. But then suddenly felt pain in his stomach.

"Puuh!" Xiao Yulong gasped as Itachi appeared next to him and kicked him in the stomach sending him flying. After finally being stopped by a tree he looked like he couldn't get up. Some of his ribs were cracked and one of his legs was broken due to being ricochet.

" You might not know this, but I was the one who injured your profound veins near cripple," Itachi said as he walked towards him.

"Gu!Gah!" Xiao Yulong tried to say something but all that came out were mouthfuls of blood. But from the expression on his face he looked as if he was questioning Itachi.

Arriving in front of Xiao Yulong Itachi looked down to him before he answered. "I know you were the one that put poison in my food on the day of my wedding" Itachi spoke.

Xiao Yulong widened his eyes and tried to speak but before he could do so Itachi's hand which held a dagger moved like lightning and beheaded Xiao Yulong. He still had an expression of fear on his face as the head fell to the ground.

'Now all that's left is Xiao Kuangyun' Itachi said as he walked towards the carriage. The view of Xiao kuangyun entering his vision. Like with Xiao Yulong Itachi threw him out of the carriage.

"You must be wondering why I am doing this." Itachi spoke as he looked at Xiao Kuangyun. "But even if I said it you won't remember. But just know that your life was forfeited the day you entered the Xiao Clan" After that Itachi killed him swiftly by also beheading him.

'Now it is done' Itachi thought as he gathered the bodies. He also took the spatial rings of those in the Xiao Sect. The Spirit profound experts had yellow ranked spatial rings while Xiao Moshan and Xiao Kuangyun had purple ranked spatial rings.

The yellow ranked spatial rings didn't have much in them as they were owned by mere henchmen whereas the purple ranked spatial rings owned by Xiao Moshan and Xiao Kuangyun was where the real treasure were at.

Xiao Kuangyun didn't have anything other than clothes and purple profound coins while having a few more profound opening powder. But the profound coins could be counted in the millions, at least 2-3 million purple profound coins were in Xiao Kuangyun's spatial ring.

The elder's didn't have as many profound coins but had more useful things. Xiao Moshan's spatial ring had about 500,000 purple profound coins, an earth profound longsword, and a few medicinal pellets to aid cultivation. 5 Goldscale dragon transforming pellets which can be used to make a spirit profound expert advance a level in one night and 15 dragon blood pellets which not only raise your profound strength, it will also strengthen your body and increase your resistance to thousands of illnesses.

'These will indeed be useful to me' Itachi said as he stored them into the Sky Poison Pearl. After that Itachi looked at the corpses and burned them along with the carriage.

'Fire style: Fireball jutsu' Itachi said inwardly as a ball of fire made from profound energy came out from his mouth burning the corpses of Xiao Yulong and those from the Xiao Sect.

Soon after Itachi left as he began to travel back to Floating Cloud City via body flicker. But what Itachi didn't know was that inside the Sky Poison pearl the red haired little girl slowly began to wake up.
