UNEXPECTED SITUATION

When both of them opened the gift, the situation became very unexpected that both of them were speechless.

After a while Sophia looked at him and said, "It's not mine."

They both started fighting like little children.

He didn't trust her,"Why are you lying?"

She was trying to prove her innocence,"Why would I lie? It's not mine so I just told you that it's not mine."

"I have proof that you send me the photos of three watches on WhatsApp. And in those photos, there is also a photo of this watch which I selected from one of those."

"Yes, I am also saying that this watch is mine, but the slip which is kept in it, is not mine."

"There is no logic that this body is yours, but the organs inside it, are not yours."

She got confused,"What does this have to do with my body?"

"The way you talked, I talked the same way."

She was exhausted,"Buddy! How do I explain to you that it's not mine?"

Suddenly, the rapid fire of his questions started to trap her in the worse situation.

"Tell me! You were looking for me eagerly?"

"Yes! Because I had to give this gift to you."

"Just now you told me that you were eagerly looking for me. Right?"

"How many times do you want me to repeat? Yes!"

"Because you wanted to give me this gift. Right?"

"Yes!"

"And you wanted me to read it and answer you?"

"Yes!"

Sophia was giving all the answers to his questions in ''Yes'', as if there is no option of ''No'' because of which she got stuck in the last.

"You got caught. Now, it has been proved that you wrote '' I love you'' on the slip and put it in the gift and got restless to hear my reply."

She was shocked by his sudden judgement,"What! Why would I write ''I love you''to you?"

"Why can't you write?"

"Look, don't get me caught up in your words."

She held her head and sat on the stage of the Auditorium.

"I didn't write this."

"You answered yourself now."

"Look, I didn't write this slip. You were asking me questions in a hurry due to which '' Yes'' came out of my mouth."

"Do you have any proof that this slip is not yours?"

"I am so exhausted that now I don't have the energy to answer your questions."

Sophia started thinking ignoring him what actually happened in the shop at that time.

"What are you thinking now? What is there to think about? Accept your mistake and say sorry to me."

"Shut up! I just remembered that when I hung up the phone after talking to you.Then I saw that the shopkeeper was standing next to another customer and was writing something on the slip.Then I called out to the shopkeeper and said to pack this watch. By the time, the shopkeeper came to pack the watch and my attention shifted to the two girls standing on my left side who were talking to each other. And I listened their conversation that she was going to give the watch to his crush as a surprise in which she had asked the shopkeeper to keep a slip in which her proposal would be and her crush would accept her after reading that. So I think that the shopkeeper hastily put that slip in my gift while packing gift. And I too was getting late for college, so in a hurry, I kept it in my bag without seeing it."

He was still being suspicious of her,"The story is so long, so it will take time to make it."

"What do you mean by saying that I just made up the story?"

"Undoubted!"

She grabbed his arms and ordered, "Come with me".

Shrinking his eyebrows he asked,"Where are you taking me?"

"You quietly took out your car. Let's go where I am telling you."

"I didn't reply to your proposal, so are you planning to run away with me?"

"You, Close the shutter of your mouth."

They both went and sat in the car. Prince was going in the same direction where she was telling him to go.

Pointing to the shop, she said,"Yes! This is the shop from where I got the watch."

His mind stopped working, "What have you come here to do?"

"To prove my innocence, I have to show you evidence."

He was dumbfounded that she had brought him this far only for that thing.

"Why are you sitting now? Get down and let's go to the shop."

He went into the shop with her hiding his face with his hands. It was afternoon and very sunny too due to which there was no one in the shop except the shopkeeper. As soon as she went inside, she started her investigation.

She showed the watch to the shopkeeper and asked, "Uncle, I took this watch from you in the morning."

He nodded his head and said, "Yes! This is from my shop."

She showed the slip and asked, "Did I ask you to keep it?"

"That's why, it's in your gift."

Prince was standing on the side and hearing the shopkeeper's words, he was controlling his laugh putting his hand on his face.

"Uncle! Please remember! I didn't tell you anything to keep like that."

"It was not you?"

She nodded her head left right.

"I do not remember who asked me to write this because many people come to the shop. Either it will be yours because it's in your gift or I may have put it in by mistake."

Prince interrupted and said,"Uncle! Don't think too much, it is only of her."

"You, don't interrupt."

"Uncle, show me the footage of today's morning."

Prince and shopkeeper looked at her at the same time and said,"Footage?"

Hearing her words, both were shocked that she would watch the footage for just one slip.

He grabbed her and tried to drag her away,"Uncle! Don't you worry. I'm going to take it from here, she's gone mad."

"Oh hello! What nonsense are you talking? And leave me."

She started her emotional scene, "Uncle! Help me once by treating me as your daughter. Please show the footage."

The shopkeeper got emotional and agreed to show the footage.

"She acts better than me", he was murmuring in his mind.

All three went to the footage room and checked the morning's footage.

"I spoke on the phone around 8:45am."

As Sophia had told, the same was visible in that footage as well. After seeing the footage, two people were feeling remorse, one the shopkeeper and the other Prince.

"I am sorry daughter. I was in a hurry, so I hastily put that slip in your gift."

"Uncle! You don't have to apologize to me because I am like your daughter. Every person makes mistakes."

She was about to leave,"Take care of yourself. Bye."

Looking at him, she said, "Have you done the full scan with your eyes open or want to see again?"

He didn't dare to say anything after that and started scratching his head and both of them came out from the shop.

"Let's sit in the car. I'll drop you at home."

He sat in the car and saw that she did not sit in the car. He put his neck out the window and asked her again to get in the car.

But she refused,"I will not sit in your car at all because you have insulted me a lot."

"I didn't insult you."

"Then, what were you talking about in college?"

He got out of the car and went closer to her and said, "Get in the car."

She stuck to her word, "Nope! My hands and feet are good, so I can just hold the bus and go to my house."

"And also stay two feet away from me."

Despite his best efforts, when she did not agree, he lifted her in his arms.

"What are you doing? Take me down otherwise somebody will see us."

"Shut up! Otherwise I will throw you."

Sophia saw him so close for the first time and thought, "He looks even more handsome from close up."

He made her sit on the seat and left to drop her home.

A sudden question popped up in Sophia's mind and asked him, "Tell me one thing if that slip was mine, what would you do?"

"What does it mean?"Then, you have to say sorry to me."

He murmured softly, "I wish you had written."

"What did you say?"

"Nothing! I am abusing my luck."

"Why are you abusing? My luck is bad that I got you."

"Excuse me! Madam, If I remind you for your information, you had brought the watch, not me."

After that, there was silence in the car for fifteen minutes and they also reached at home of her. After that, as soon as Sophia got out of the car, he also left with the car from there. After driving some distance, he noticed that she left the gift for him on the car's seat. He smiled and kept it.

When she went inside the house, it was totally dark in the house. She turned on the light.

"It seems that mom is at aunt's house. Should I go there or not?" was questioning to herself.

She came out from the back door and started peeking in Shergill's room through the window. And she saw that her mother and aunt were talking laughing while watching TV. She was also very happy to see her smiling and left from there by not disturbing them going inside. She changed her dress and came to kitchen for preparing food to feed her stomach. It was time for her to leave the house for her job so, she quickly made an omelette and ate. And left to catch the bus.

She reached the company and sat at her place. Then, she started looking for her file in which she had made the dress with the help of Prince.

She started getting tensed, "Why can't this file be found? Have I lost the file somewhere? No! If I didn't take the file at home, how would I lose it? Maybe I put the file somewhere in the company and forgot."

Just then Nancy brought some news over there, "Sophia! President is calling you to his cabin."

She shocked,"Has the president come?"

"Yes!"she left after informing her.

"I am not getting the file and the President has also come. What shall I tell him now? Oh Lord! What is happening with me? My luck is really bad. Now only you can save me."

When she went to the office, he was sitting facing the wall due to which his face was not visible.

"I am really sorry, Sir! Actually I had made a dress and I do not know where I kept it, I am not getting it. I promise you that I will keep looking for that file. And after completing your project, I will return you by tonight."

He got tensed hearing her non stop talk that he got up from the chair and came to her. When she saw him getting up from his place, then she stood with her head down because she did not have the courage to talk by showing her face. He was getting closer to her keeping his steps ahead and she was getting away from him by taking a step back.

Looking at both of them, it seemed as if some romantic scene was going on but Sophia was very nervous. While doing that, when she suddenly got hit by the wall, she stopped breathing. He came closer and closer to her.

She was cursing herself in her heart what was happening.

He went to her ear and whispered, "Your face has turned red."

She found his voice a little different and familiar. When she raised her face and saw him, she got shocked, "You!"

Prince started laughing seeing her reaction.

"No need to laugh too much."

"If there was anyone else here, he would have also laughed seeing you. Then why can't I?"

"And what are you doing here, wearing such a tuxedo like President?"

"I had to give you something."

"Why did you do so much drama for it?"

He explained,"I thought that today I am looking like my brother in a tuxedo, so why not to do a little prank with you? So, I sent Nancy to call you."

"Nancy was also with you."

He smiled.

"Stop smiling. You know how nervous I was that I even stopped breathing. and you are saying that it was a little prank. If something happens to me,then...….."

He interrupted her, "Shut up! I had no plan to kill you. I just brought a gift for you."

"Gift! Why?"

"Did I ask you this question when you brought me a gift?"

She became silent. Prince went to the chair, picked up the gift and brought it to her.

She made a blank face and asked, "What's in it?"

"If I had to tell you, why would I get it packed?"

She opened the gift, her senses were blown away seeing that,"What is this? Who gives this as a gift to someone."
