Acting 101

"Sis-"

"Sister, it's really you, I thought I recognized wrongly. I haven't seen you..., it has been 4 years. I've always tried calling you to explain what happened that night. B-but I was unable to contact you every time. H-how are you? Have you been well?" The lady called her sister acted as if she has been worried at her all this time.

XiennaYan ignores the lady in front of her, as if it was not her, that they were talking at.

"Sis- are you still mad at us? We really didn't mean what happened that night mom and dad even grandma, we were really sorry. we really tried our best to contact you." The lady continued as if she was wronged because she got ignored. The lady who keeps on her monologue in front of XiennaYan was none other than her step-sister Lin WanXin. Feeling wronged WanXin was able to get the attention of GuXian who then begun to be protective at her.

GuXian who had been silent the whole time finally spoke angrily. He walked in-front of WanXin hiding her from XiennaYan sight, to protect her. "XiennaYan, don't act as if you don't know WanXin, she is your sister, if you're mad about anything come at me. There is no need, for you to act as if we are strangers."

When she heard him, She could not help but be more ruthless at them - continuing her act, she responded coldly... "May I know who you might be? If you know me from before, sorry but I don't remember, of..., ever having a sister... much more a slut as a sister and also to you, you two might look a little bit alright. You might probably pass as one of my playthings." She said as scanned them from head to toe with mocking eyes.

WanXin was stunned as her body involuntarily stiffened. She sniffed and bite her lower lip as if she's enduring the insult. "Sis...sis... I'm really... sorry to what happened... i-if..you can..just forgive me" as she tried to get the man to be sympathetic towards her.

GuXian got furious at what he heard, the eyes that were looking at XiennaYan became so sharp, his voice sounded more low with a hint of malice as he said... "XiennaYan! you! don't deserve WanXin concern and care for you, you are a very heartless sister."

"Heartless? Seeing how the way you both act towards me... And besides, I could judge you whatever I want too." As she conceitedly looked him in the eye... "You! A mad dog like you, easy to be manipulated with just a small cry from that bitch. And you!" XiennaYan looked at WanXin - "A hooker trying to act like a good sister."

Gawking at their situation "If I really did know you from before, you must have done something unforgivable for me to have forgotten all about you... and I guess it's a blessing for me to have forgotten a scumbag and a harlot like you guys." She said walking towards the counter.

She notice MuChen had been looking at her, he might have heard the commotion as he looked a little bit worried.

"You, know them?" he asked in a whisper manner as she neared him.

Whispering back in a laid-back pose, as if the two did not bother her "Remember, my tragic relationship? Those are the 2 main characters"

"hmm...?" He looked at her curiously and even if his voice had a questioning tone he didn't ask further. He is confident that she will tell him.

She lowered her gaze and think for a moment before she decided to explain. "You see, I kinda don't want to associate with them anymore. And I just hate the way they act pitiful and a hooligan."

She smiled at him before continuing... "Considering the fact that she really loves to act. I'm creating a play for them to act, me as the main character, a sister who has forgotten her memories about her step-sister and a bastard ex-fiance... I also would want to see if she can read into my play, like how I read hers."

Looking behind her, she saw how dumbfounded they look. She gleefully says as she looks back at him. "I guess I'm a good actress after all." When she sees the profound look on his face, even if she had just known him a couple of hours ago, like a friend she jokingly adds. "I can teach you, if you want to it'll be expensive though"

He looked at her like a critic, trying to assess her credibility "I'll pass, I don't like to act." He walked ahead of her, after getting back his card.

XiennaYan walked behind him as if she is a problematic child being scolded by her father. Passing by the couple, WanXin gripped her hand tightly almost crushing her bones.

"Sis-" XiennaYan was stopped by WanXin gripped. She was about to retaliate and slap WanXin hand when MuChen bit her to it. He whacked WanXin hands, freeing her hands from her tight grip that had formed a mark on her arm.

"We're in a hurry and you've been bothering my friend here." He said unemotionally at the same time giving a vibe that will make anyone near him shiver.

Seeing that his woman was being harassed. GuXian was about to get back from what him when a group of men surround them and blocked his way.

When his men arrived, to stop GuXian and WanXin from harassing XiennaYan. MuChen went ahead and go outside the Cafe.

Before leaving the two, XiennaYan made them more furious.

"You should have seen your faces. If you'd like to play, act with me more, just look for me anytime and I'll happily oblige you a scene to act." XiennaYan said to both GuXian and WanXin before she went out to follow MuChen.

Arriving outside the apartment, she thanked him for helping her and for the ride home.

Inside her room, before she could even sit down to relaxed. XiennaYan phone pings notifying her that she received a message.
