Reappearance | Chapter 8

I ran across the lake to the other side where no cops or dogs could find or smell me. I climb into a tree and make my new home with a few little sticks and stuff. Around 2 months later I heard something in the woods as I was looking for something to hunt. I jump up in my tree as I see a wolf black run into the woods howling as I watch 2 other huge wolves chasing it. As I think in my head if I should help or not. As I jump down to a lower branch and jump from tree to tree following them. She runs to the lake and walks on the water running across. The other wolves stop and walk away from the lake and leave her be. I walked out on the water to see her. She looks up at me and growls but as she looks up at my horns and eyes, She turns into a human. ¨ Rose... ¨ ¨ AARROONN!!! I found you! ¨ ¨ Yeah it seems so ¨ She gets near my face and looks me in the eyes smiling. I look down at her thinking about the past. I growl as I remember what she had done to me. I turn into my demon and run away and jump across the lake. " Aaron! ¨ She turn into something I had never seen she followed me till I came to a mountaintop. I looked down and then back at her. She turned back into a human, ¨ Aaron please " I looked at her up and down ¨ Why should I stay near you after what you did to me? ¨ ¨ I never meant to hurt you ever you know that ¨ ¨ Well you missed that the fuck up didn't you? ¨ Rose looks down then back up at my horns ¨ I never have met a demon before ¨ I look at her ¨ Well you're looking at one ¨ She reaches up to touch my horns and I growl at her. ¨ I won't hurt you ¨ I look at her and feel nothing but sympathy for her. She touches them. I feel love and hate all at the same time. Soon my eyes go back to normal and I turn human and lay my forehead on hers. She smiles "Was that so hard?" "Yes it was actually."
