It's Not a Bad Idea

"You should take a swan dive off a roof and pray that you have a quirk in your next life!"

Izuku sat while looking at the floor. He didn't even bother to go and take a look of his book that was burned by Bakugo out the window. Bakugo felt uneasy looking at Izuku's silent reaction. Deku's behavior is different from the one he's used to.

Izuku slowly lifted his head up. His looks on his face is showing he's shocked. Izuku slowly got up from his position.

"Kacchan, you're smarter than I thought." Izuku said while laughing in disbelief. He can't belief he never thought of it.

Bakugo taking Izuku's words the wrong way, and thought he was mocking him, but he didn't feel like beating Izuku to a pulp. Instead, uneasiness washed over him.

Suddenly, Izuku ran out of the classroom to the school rooftop. Bakugo who is caught by surprise ran after him. When he catches up with Izuku, he is already sitting on the railing at the edge of the roof. One push and he's a goner. His eyes are filled with madness. Bakugo who followed him screamed at the top of his lungs.

"THE F*CK YOU'RE DOING?!?!? GET DOWN NOW!!!" He screamed.

Bakugo felt anxious. Although he's the one who told him to do it, he didn't really mean what he say. It's just frustrating for him seeing Izuku trying so hard to be a hero when he knows there's no hope for him.

So he hoped he can make Izuku give up being a hero by bullying him. He thought Izuku would give up after years of bullying, but that guy is more persistent than he thought.

Izuku giggled.

"I will." He said before falling down with a smile, then vanished from Bakugo eyes. Bakugo tries to reach out to him, but it's too late. When he arrives at the edge, all he saw is a bloodied body positioned in a strange way.

"Sob, sob..." Inko wailed while holding onto her son's tombstone. The day was clear, a nice weather not matching what Inko was feeling at the time.

"I'm sorry... It's because of me... I'm sorry I can't give you a quirk... Your life was so miserable without it..." Inko said while crying her heart out. She truly thought it was her fault that Izuku died. Bakugo was just standing while watching Inko grieving. His face stated that he still couldn't believe it.

'What the hell happened?' Bakugo still have trouble processing what happened. Izuku behavior was off, it was like someone else entirely.

'Come to think of it, there are some times when I beat him up he...' Bakugo realized something now.

'He looks like he's going to kill me...'

Bakugo still remembered. There are some times when he beats up Izuku, he saw those eyes...

The eyes of a murderer.

He knows because he had a fair share of people kidnapping him. Because of his quirk, people thought he was quite valuable and tried to sell him to the villains. There are many kinds of kidnapper. There are those who just wanted money, those who do it for fun, some with weird fetishes, but the one he's most scared of, is those who doesn't give a fuck about him. Those kinds of people can kill him without any second thoughts. He knows cause he once saw a kid next to him, who was crying loudly when the kidnapper is sleeping got killed of just because the villain thought he's annoying. They felt no remorse.

They would think it's just a shame. If they misbehaved, they don't hesitate to take their lives.

That's why every time Bakugo saw that eyes, he would never fight back. Someone who could have those eyes are just those that are very strong and are at the top of the food chain.

And Izuku has those eyes.

Although it returned back to normal right after, he won't bother Izuku for some days after he saw it.

But this still didn't answer Bakugo question. The fact that Izuku appeared so free before falling to his doom.

-10 month later-

In a bar, a boy wearing a green bunny hoodie with jeans is smiling on his own. His dark green eyes suggested he was thinking of something amusing. He giggled to himself.

"BAM!"

A glass of whiskey slammed onto the bar.

"For fuck's sake, what's so funny?!?"

The guy who slammed the glass shouted with a frustrated expression.

"You've been giggling to yourself for the 65 times!" Shigaraki can't take it anymore. Deku just glanced at him while smiling.

"Oh? You've been counting?"

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!" Shigaraki screamed in frustration. It made Deku laughed harder.

"Do you know what day today is?" Deku asked.

"What? Your birthday?" Shigaraki guessed lazily. He knows Deku would reveal it anyway, he just like to mess around.

"Hahaha! even if it is, I don't remember anymore. Today is..." Deku delayed it on purpose. Trying to keep the suspense. Though no one cared about his antics.

"UA entrance exam!" He finally said it. Shigaraki raised his eyebrow.

"So what? Are you gonna watch or something?" Shigaraki could guess what he's up to. Deku nodded vigorously with an excited face.

"If you did, Deku-kun, the entrance exam would have to be cancelled instead." Kurogiri entered the conversation while wiping of the whiskey that spilled earlier.

"But you know..." Deku stretched his words.

"Kacchan is gonna take the exam."

Silence filled the bar. They stayed like that for a couple of seconds before Shigaraki broke the silence.

"The one who makes you this way?"

"What do you mean by this way? I'm still an adorable, little broccoli." Deku said while blinking his eyes a few times. Shigaraki scoffed.

"But it looks like a killer rabbit was hiding behind that broccoli." He said sarcastically. Deku abruptly stood up.

"It's Chrysoprase Imitator! Stop calling me using the name they gave me! I even let them call me Imitator because my name is hard to pronounce, but must they add the rabbit? Should I change my costume? I know I looked like a kid, cause I am, but that's pushing it too far!" Deku sat down after his outburst. Then he continued what he's doing, giggling to himself. A complete 180 degree change.
