Two dimensional love

Kat let out a breath of relieve, she decided to continue running to make sure she puts enough distance between them. nothing in world could have prepared kat for what was about to happen. Just as she turned her gaze forward, she was greated with the most frightening sight, the old woman stood just two steps away from her. "Jesus Christ!!!" kat screamed. Her voice echoes through the woods, causing, the birds that nested on the nearest trees to fly away as the sound of the birds filled the sorrowing ------------- "How did she...?" my mind struggled to process anything. But before I could react, the old lady blocked my path with an unsettling smile on her face, sending panic coursing through me. Despite my desperate attempts to flee, it was as if the old lady possessed some dark and mysterious power that held me captive. With each passing moment, the sense of dread grew stronger, and I found myself scrambling to escape her clutches. In my frantic attempt to get away, I stumbled and fell hard on my bottom, the impact jolting through me. As I struggled to regain my footing, she stood a few steps away from me, but it felt like she loomed over me, a menacing gleam in her eyes. Desperation welled up within me. I couldn't comprehend anything, my heart pounding drastically in my chest. "Don't come any closer! Stay away from me!" I shouted in panic. ----------- As the old lady moved closer, Kat felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, causing her to sway unsteadily on the ground. She tried to push herself up, but her strength failed her, and she collapsed back down, her vision growing even more distorted. ------------ Through my blurry sight, I could see the old lady morphing and changing before my eyes. The wrinkled face and hunched figure transformed into that of a tall, ethereal woman with radiant beauty. She now glowed like the sun in the dark woods, casting a warm light over me. As the figure approached, I strained to make out her features, my mind struggling to comprehend the transformation before me. I managed to muster the strength to speak, my voice barely a whisper as I gazed up at the transformed figure before me. With a mix of fear and curiosity in my voice, I rasped, "Who are you?" The words escaped my lips almost involuntarily, a question born out of confusion and desperation as I struggled to make sense of the surreal situation unfolding before me. "What is going on? I feel so dizzy. What are you doing to me?" I weakly asked the transformed her once again, "Who are you?". She responded enigmatically, "You would know soon enough, my dear." Despite my distorted state, I could hear her voice clearly; it sounded nothing like the old raspy voice she portrayed earlier. It was sweet and smooth, her tone elegant, sounding like a melody used to lure children to sleep. The cryptic reply sent more questions my way, leaving me with more questions than answers. Undeterred, I pressed on with another question, my voice trembling with fear and anticipation, "What do you want from me?" The old lady's response was equally unsettling, "You. It will all begin to make sense to you when the time comes." With those ominous words hanging in the air, I felt a wave of dread wash over me as I realized that my fate was inextricably linked to this mysterious figure before me. And as darkness closed in around me, I could only pray that I would soon understand the truth behind her cryptic words. 'I remember this feeling, the feeling of being powerless and helpless, not being able to do anything, just like the night my mother and Nathan burned in front of my eyes. I couldn't do anything.' "Mum, Nathan, I will meet you both soon. I love you,"I whispered to myself, ready to reunite with my family. Tears streamed down my eyes, surprising me in the brief moment. 'I hadn't cried since the time I was separated from you two. Now I shall cry when I reunite with you both,' more tears welled up in my eyes as I spoke. **** disclaimer: cover not mine.

Show down at essence

Kat couldn't help but giggle as she tousled Amey's hair, her petite frame making the gesture feel comforting and familiar. "I'll be there, Amey. Don't worry. Just try not to get too drunk and pass out like last time," she teased with a playful smile.

Hanna interrupted, "I've prepared a dress for you. Everything's ready in your dressing room." Glancing at her watch, she added, "The makeup artist will be with you shortly. We have about two hours to arrive at Essence."

Kat sighed appreciatively. "Thanks, Hanna. I'll go get ready now," she said, waving as she walked away from the trio.

As Kat disappeared from view, Amey turned to Hanna with a concerned look. "Are you sure you're not overworking her?"

"I have to agree with Amey. Kat's been stretched thin lately," Alex chimed in, his admiration for Kat evident in his tone.

Hanna's expression softened as she explained, "It's not what you think. Kat insisted on cramming all her schedule into this week because she's planning a two-month vacation. She wants to get everything done before she leaves."

Amey and Alex exchanged understanding glances, realizing the reason behind Kat's hectic schedule. "Oh, I see," Amey said, nodding in comprehension.

Meanwhile, Kat emerged from her dressing room, looking elegant in a sleek black dress that accentuated her curves. With her makeup subtly enhancing her features, she radiated confidence and poise.

Despite her simple attire, Kat commanded attention with her graceful presence and captivating smile. Her aura exuded sophistication and allure, leaving a lasting impression on those around her.

As Kat made her way to the event, her mind buzzed with excitement for the night ahead. With each step, she exuded quiet strength and confidence, ready to take on whatever challenges awaited her.

Minutes passed in contemplative silence as Kat and Hanna rode in the car. Hanna was absorbed in reviewing documents on her laptop, while Kat intermittently checked her phone for messages and notifications.

"Would you like some music?" the driver interrupted the silence, glancing at them through the rearview mirror.

Kat looked up from her phone and offered a polite smile. "Sure, Kenny. And could you please get us to Essence a little quicker? We need to be punctual."

"Of course, miss," Kenny responded promptly, adjusting the car's speed accordingly. He also turned on some soft music to accompany the remainder of the journey, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

After a while, they arrived at Essence, a towering skyscraper dominating the city skyline. Hanna was the first to exit the car, followed by Kat, who thanked Kenny for the smooth ride. The driver bid them goodbye before they proceeded into the Essence building.

Upon reaching the reception area, they were greeted warmly by two receptionists, each expressing their delight at their arrival.

The young man then guided them to the elevator, and they ascended to the top floor where the Essence offices were located.

Exiting the elevator, they were greeted by Clare, the manager of Essence, who welcomed them with a warm smile and open arms.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both in person. I'm Clare, the manager of Essence," she introduced herself warmly, extending a hand in greeting.

"Thank you for having us, Claire. I'm thrilled to be here." Kat said to Clare. "We're delighted to have you, Kat. Your work speaks for itself." Clare chimed

Kat and Hanna reciprocated with polite introductions. As the conversation flowed, Clare expressed her admiration for Kat's talent and presence.

With the formalities concluded, Hanna suggested proceeding to sign the contract and get started.

"Certainly, right this way," Clare replied, leading them to the designated signing area.

After signing the contract, they were escorted to the location where the shoot was to take place. The photographer greeted them warmly, his enthusiasm palpable as he prepared to capture Kat's essence on camera.

Throughout the shoot, Kat exuded confidence and grace, her natural beauty shining through with each pose and expression.

As they exited Essence, they found Kenny waiting for them, a familiar smile gracing his features as he greeted them warmly. He opened the car door for them, and they settled in for the drive back.

"How was it?" Kenny inquired as he started the car, his genuine interest evident in his tone.

"It was fine," Hanna responded with a nod, her satisfaction evident in her demeanor.

"That's great to hear. Where are we headed?" Kenny asked, his focus shifting to Kat as he prepared to navigate the route ahead.

"To my residence," Kat replied, anticipation evident in her voice.

The drive back wasn't long, and soon they reached their destination.
