PROLOGUE

"Astaros, Stop!" cried a voice echoing through the vastness. "Thalloria will drown in chaos if you proceed with this. You mustn't open the eighth gate."

"There's no other choice, Father," Astaros replied, his voice heavy with determination. "Humans have to be eradicated. I envision a new world, where all realms merge. I'll establish the new order."

His father retorted, "A human's betrayal might've scarred you, but don't let it consume you. Humans are delicate, vulnerable. They seek our guidance. We, the divine Gods, are entrusted with preserving balance."

Astaros's eyes blazed with defiance. "You can't halt my steps now, Father. This is the dawn of a new era."

Solon whispered urgently to his brother, Lunos, "We have no choice but to intervene."

Lunos gave a gloomy sigh. "We must stop him from unlocking the eighth gate, Solon. We stand for the world you cherish, and the realm I've sworn to shield."

"Our allies have been vanquished," Solon murmured, "We have to thwart Astaros, no matter the sacrifice, to reinstate the Order of Realms."

As Lunos and Solon confronted Astaros and his Abyss Knights, it became evident the power they were up against. With Astaros inches away from unsealing the ultimate gate and the shadow of the Abyss threatening to engulf existence, the gods opted for a desperate measure. Channeling their immense might, they fused the sun and moon with their divine essences, releasing a cataclysmic surge that repelled Astaros and his knights, sealing the seven ruptured gates and averting the opening of the last.

Their divine act, however, bore a steep price. Even as immortals, it demanded their existence.

In his fleeting moment, Astaros vowed, "I'll return when humanity's vices seep into the Gates of the Abyss."

Understanding the gravity of Astaros's threat, the two Gods opted for reincarnation. Not as Gods, but as Guardians, awaiting the moment to confront their him again and uphold the Order of Realms.
