Chapter 10: Nervous

Let me go see, Nanny left to Daisy's room . While Lyn walked to Mom's room which was just a room away from Daisy's.

She knocked on Mom's door, she was fast asleep, so Lyn gently opened the door, and walked to The bed.

Hey Mom, she greeted as she sat beside her.

Hey Baby, you're up? She said as she yawned raising her hands to stretch.

Your school bus would be here by 7:20, so get ready okay? ..Mom climbed out of bed as she ran her both hands through her hair.

I'll drop Daisy off.. she replied searching for clothes in her wardrobe

Okay, I'd just go get ready. Lyn stood up to leave.

Wait Lyn, here, pocket money, use it to get food at the school cafeteria, it's your first day and I wouldn't want you to be hungry. Mom stretched forth her hand giving the money to her.

But Mom I've got my Card with me. Lyn reminded.

I know Honey, but just take this dollars okay? Mom smiled.

Okay, Thanks Mom. She hurriedly left the room.

She went up to her room, but couldn't find Jace there, so, she looked into the bathroom, changing room, toilet. But still he wasn't there. She wondered where he had suddenly gone to

She walked to the parlor, he wasn't there, to the sitting room, still he wasn't there, she walked through the hallway and was about going to the garden when she saw him in the Kitchen.

Jace! ,she called., what are you doing here?

I'm getting food, or are you now blind? . He looked back into the fridge.

Anyways, are you ready? Mom said the bus would arrive around 7:20. She paused looking at him stuffing a hand full of cake into his mouth.

Yikes!!.. she squeezed her face in disgust.

I literally came down looking for you, I guess I'm here cause my tummy brought me here

Do you have a problem with that? He said with his hands full of cheese pack and a bowl of ice cream

Yes! , she then shook her head, you know what? Just forget it! I don't wanna argue, she turned around and walked upstairs to her room.

Jace leaped, wait up! He called out to her as he struggled through the stairs.

Mmmhmm!!! This taste really good, Lyn you definitely need to try this.. he sat eating.

No! Thanks!, I'm going to have my bath. She walked to the bathroom with her Bathrobe and towel on her arm.

After some minutes... Ashlyn!! How many hours would it take just to shower huh?

Give me a minute! She spoke from the bathroom.

She then got out, with her Bathrobe on, she went into the changing room to change into her uniform.

Argh!! Girls do take lots of time to get ready.. he muttered.

What was that? She said from the changing room.

I just said, girls takes a lot of time just to get ready! He replied.

I'd just change here! He changed into his school shirt.

Jace? Hope you're ready now? I'm about to come in

No!! , my belt prong is stuck. Jace tried getting it out.

What are you still doing? I want to come in to get my shoes. She came into the room and saw Jace without any underwear. She quickly screamed! And turned around to face the wall.

Argh!! Jace!! What was that? She coveted her eyes with her both hands..

It was my thingy, you wanna take a look? He pretended to come to her.

No! No I don't want to! , you ain't even ashamed.. Geez!! She exclaimed. I thought you were ready

I told you not to come in remember? I've got issues with my belt prong. He explained

Jace finally fixed up as he wore his pants. Okay, all fixed now, you can look.. he grinned at her reaction.

Sure?,I don't wanna see what I saw earlier. She closed her eyes tightly.

No, I'm all set now. So you can turn around.

Lyn slowly turned with an eye opened, when she saw his pants were on, she then opened her other eye.

Ahh!! You make me sick! She frowned as Jace could only chuckle.

Whatever, she walked out of the room, to go check if breakfast was ready.

Susan was already up and was cooking up something in the kitchen, when Lyn walked in

I don't want to believe you just got up now, do you know what the time is?? She questioned

Sorry Ma'am, I over slept, I'm already making breakfast, I'd be done in few minutes Ma'am .. she said apologetically.

I need it before my bus arrives, get it up to my room.

Yea Ma'am, Susan replied and Lyn got back to her room, after some minutes, they had a knock on the door.

That must be Susan, Lyn said coming to the door.

Susan immediately dropped their breakfast on the table, and left .

They both had breakfast,and hurried down to the Parlor.

Mom was dressed in a straight plain skirt and a suit jacket, she walked to the parlor then she saw Jace.

Jace? You're here?

Jace turned around to see her standing by the flower vase.

Yes, actually I came this morning, I and Lyn would be leaving together, he smiled.

That's okay dear, mom replied and walked to the Dinning room.

That must be the bus, Jace, it's time to leave, Lyn got her school bag and hurriedly kissed mom on the cheek and walked out of the house, and Jace followed.

They stepped out to see the big white bus I front of the house, with some students in it.

They turned to look at themselves as they smiled and got on the bus.

They both sat quietly, Ashlyn sat at the window while Jace sat at her right.

She looked through the windows, seeing moving cars and trees, she looked up to the sky , it was a cozy weather.

She was uncontrollably nervous.. she turned to Jace.

Jace, I'm a bit nervous.. her face told it all.,

Jace turned to her, Hey, you don't need to be,okay? I'm right here with you he her hands in his.

Lyn smiled and then blinked at him as she turned to the window

She thought of how she'd start all over to make new friends, so awkward! She cursed.

She'll get along just fine, she wouldn't have to do much, they'll all come to her, she just really had that super magnetic power.. he grinned at her as he looked front.

They catches their breaths as the bus stopped at a big golden gate.

Here we are. The Driver announced.
