System Countdown

Five years later…

It had been 5 years ever since Jack and Henry had been transmigrated into this world. The two of them had been having a hard time within those 5 years.

They had actually been born into a family that was considered quite high level in the city that they were in. Due to that, they were required to act as nobles, something that restricted their movements.

Other than that, there was the issue about the mission. None of them knew about the mission that they had been given, but they were still required to complete it.

That was something of great concern to the two of them. After all, they understood one thing. That was the fact that they had to complete the mission. Otherwise, not only would they fail to be able to go back to their previous world, but they would also die within this world.

The world that they were currently in was known as Gabu. It possessed three continents namely, Riso, Mote and Bilo. The continent that Jack and Henry were currently in was named Mote.

Mote possessed seven countries. Going further, Jack was within Sholi, which possessed five provinces. Within those five provinces, 58 cities were located in them.

The cities within this world were divided into three tiers. The first tier cities being the top cities, while tier 3 cities being the smallest. Well, it could be said that tier 3 cities were basically towns if one was to go back on the blue planet.

Jack and Henry's family was located within Molu, a city that was in the mid 2nd tier. Within the 2nd tier city, the Smith family was among the top families within the city. Due to that, they had to maintain the prestige that they possessed, and so, but Henry and Jack had to undergo a lot of etiquette training.

Of course, they possessed a residence of their own. Basically, it could be said that the Smith family possessed a big manor where all the members of the Smith family resided.

The entire manor was divided into three parts, with each side being occupied by a branch of the family. Jack and Henry were born in a family that was located in the east wing of the residence. Though, they currently resided in the central wing, where the leader of the family resided.

The other branch of the family was located in the west wing. Even though the relationship between the entire family as a whole could be said to be quite harmonious, still, there would be some conflicts between the members of the family from time to time.

It was during this time that there was a conflict between the family that was located in the central area, and the one that was located in the western wing of the residence.

Jack and Henry's father, Newton had a brother whose name was Clinton. Clinton was older than Newton, but even then, Newton was the one who had managed to take the position of the family head of the Smiths.

This was something that had always made Clinton bitter. Even though the two of them had competed against each other fairly, but in the end, he had lost. He could not accept the results, but at the same time, he could not openly object the results.

So, the two of them had been fighting against each other discreetly. But the battle between the two of them had been intensifying as of recent, and it was threatening to reach the surface, where even others that did not belong to the Smith family would get to know that there was an internal strife.

But still, the battle between the two of them was kind of restrained. Nevertheless, the battle between the two of them did not affect Jack and Henry that much during the time that they were growing up.

It could be said that they were growing up normally during the past 5 years. Initially, they did not know about each other, and had been trying to hide their actions from the other.

But at one point in time, Henry had found Jack going through a phone, despite being only 2 years old. From the way that he was operating the phone, it was as if an adult was operating the phone.

It was only then that Henry finally realized that the person that the entity had informed him about was none other than Jack. After all, with the capabilities that Jack possessed, it was impossible for him to be a 2-year-old kid.

Jack was also not prepared to be caught by Henry. But when the two of them got to know each other a little more, they finally began trusting each other. Understanding that they had to deal with the mission together, they decided to research together to see if there was anything that they needed to solve.

It was just that despite all the efforts that they put in researching the information, they could not find anything that might be related to the mission that they were supposed to handle. In any case, they did not even have a clue of what they were supposed to do in the mission that they were supposed to complete.

Another frustrating thing for the two of them was the fact that despite coming over, they did not possess the systems that they possessed in their previous lives. It was as if the presence of the two systems had somehow vanished.

Deciding not to focus much on the systems, they decided to gain their own abilities using their own effort. Due to that, they displayed genius abilities, which made the entire family surprised and happy about it.

With the two of them showing the great intelligence, they were renowned as geniuses. And so, when they made a request to have a phone of their own, they were immediately allowed to have it, despite them being only 3 years old.

Other than that, they decided not to go to elementary school. Instead, they decided to learn from home, before going to school to do the exam, and being promoted to the next level.

Of course, during the exams, they were able to pass them with flying colors, enabling them to be able to skip a few grades. And right now, despite the two of them being only 5 years, they were already in grade 6.

That was something that had surprised many people, including the teachers in the school that the two of them attended. Of course, the two of them possessed siblings. They possessed two elder sisters, and one younger brother who was only 2 years younger than them, currently 3 years old.

As for the two sisters, one of them was 16 years old, and another one was 23 years old. The two of them, one of them was currently still in high school, while the other was in her last year of college.

Leaving them aside for now, Jack and Henry possessed cousins from the other branch. But still, the relationship between them was not that deep, but was not bad as well.

During the past 5 years, Jack and Henry had not done anything huge. They had always tried to maintain low-key, but in order to avoid being bunched together with a group of snotty brats, they had no choice but to display the intelligence that they possessed.

Well, maybe they were not the brightest, but even then, with the intelligence of an adult man, it was clear that things related to children were quite easy for them to solve.

In the central area of the Smith manor, Newton and his family resided there. The one that resided in the central wing of the Manor changed every time according to which branch took the leadership.

Jack and Henry decided to stay within the same room. This was simply because they trusted each other, and so, they thought that it was quite convenient for them to be together. After all, they could simply research throughout the night without having anybody coming over to disturb them.

Additionally, he was going to save them the hassle of going from one room to the other in order to look for the other person. This was something that the parents did not object, thinking that the bond between the siblings was quite strong.

Of course, the manor possessed other facilities such as a swimming pool that was located at the back, together with a gym that was found in the basement of the manor.

But today, things were destined to change completely. The reason behind that was while Jack and Henry were currently in their room, the one that they shared with each other, they suddenly heard the voice and sound that had not heard in a very long time.

The moment that they heard the sound, they could not help but feel their hearts skipping a beat, before they began breathing erratically.

Then, the two of them looked at each other. Previously, they had already informed each other about their backgrounds in the world that they had come from. But of course, they made sure not to tell the other all their secrets.

Nevertheless, they came to know one thing, they all possessed a system. It was just that the systems that each of them possessed had its own capabilities, completely different from the other.
